Un piso dividido en varias "suites" por un pasillo que se escucha todo pegado a la cama y las ventanas básicas que dejaban pasar todo el ruido de personas, circulación etc..

Very comfortable bed, full sized fridge, very clean (except on top of the ceiling fan🙈) Aircon was great. Peaceful after 11 pm. Located near to the station and a supermarket

We stayed in 5a The view wasn't exactly exciting (I know that's not the owners fault) and the place was generally tired and in need of some TLC. Bed side table slopes, mould around window, bathroom unit held together with tape.

El edificio antiguo, el baño olía mal los desagües, el lavabo era extremadamente pequeño, las toallas no estaban limpiasl, no había alfombra de baño, el papel higiénico 2 rollos pero empezados, nada de geles en nonodosis, los utensilios de cocina escasos. Las luces con sensor en el baño no es útil, ya que estabas en la ducha y se apagaban. Por otro lado, solicité entrar antes a las 14.00h que llegue a Cartagena y no fue posible.

We did 30 minutes by car to find a parking spot. Not the best experience. The sink of the bathroom was a micro one where you could not even fit your hands inside.

It was close to everything... all the sites, restaurants and attractions were 15 min walk... the beach was a 10 minute drive...

The micro fibre towels..terrible to dry after a shower...

The room was well designed.

When I ran water down the washhand basin dirty water came up the shower and made a terrible smell. The fridge door did not close properly and I beleive the food was not kept cool enough. The gas water heater had a maintenance sticker marked 2021. the gas water heater in my room was shared with other rooms. When people in other rooms turned their water on my gas water heater ran. The neighbour in the flat above kept scraping the furniture across his or her wooden floor regularly. The bin pedal was broken, there was wires coming out of the bathroom wall.

As discussed with host states washing machine. This is shared and also used to wash all units linen. Then this was dried on our balcony

Noise could be heard in nearby rooms quite loudly. Surprised as it was advertised as an apartment there was no hob or oven.

No bath mat, tiny sink. Door to the bathroom does not offer much privacy. No quilt on the bed, just sheet and throw. No air con.

The apartment is close to the train station and the central bus station. It is clean and the owner is friendly though he was not present. He did his best to respond to my wishes though it took some time because of his absence.

To me it felt a bit typical for airbnb: basically the apartment has everything but it’s not very practical and thoughtfully organized: The bed was covered with a plastic sheet like for small children, the blanket was extremely thin annot appropriate for the season. The pillow covers were open so the pillows slipped out all the time. In the bathroom there is no storage space to put anything. The light in the bathroom is really bright and automatic so you’re sure to be awake if you go to the bathroom at night. There was no foot mat to keep the floor dry. Also the electric heater has a bright red light which I found unnecessary especially during the night. The kitchen was sparcely equipped, a wine glass or two would’ve been nice. I have the impression the fridge and freezer didn’t cool down very much. The walls are pretty thin and the bed went directly to the elevator: That was often pretty loud but in the night it calmed down and was ok. Basically the apartment fills all the boxes but you do feel there is nobody “live” around who is really in touch with the guests and their needs.

Good location, 15m walking to city center. Neighborhood is not excellent, but is very near the bus and train station Good Wi-Fi A bit small. Good for 1 person. 2 persons it’s a bit complicated

If you don’t have internet or WhatsApp in your phone it I’ll be very difficult to go inside the apartment. As you don’t have any physical contact with the owner, but only by internet, even to open the door at first time, that can be a problem.

We liked the location as it is very close to the train and bus stations.

The smell on arrival. Although the place was clean the whole place smelled of feaces which went away quickly once we opened the windows to ventilate. The mattress is of substandard quality and should have been changed years ago as the springs were sticking into our bodies. It was a terrible night and experience.

Although a small apartment, we had everything we needed for a short city break. Location was very good, bed comfortable and ceiling fan really appreciated as would have been very hot otherwise. We enjoyed our stay here, and the remote access worked really well once we located the entrance door.

Could have done with a cupboard or more shelving to be able to unpack clothes, especially if staying for more than a couple of nights. A photograph of the entrance to the building would be useful as there is no sign outside to say you are at the Carthago Suites.

It was my first experience of using this method to access the apartment. I was not really expecting it to be done by text, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow We messaged on arrival, our host texted us ( WhatsApp )step by step how to gain access

I read , You will be texted the code on the day , to mean on the day of arrival I would receive a text with instructions I would suggest the following for clarity You will receive instructions step by step on how to access the suite. Message your host on arrival and follow each text as directed

The apartment was nice, clean and well located. comfortable for short stay for couples, would recommend.

There were some food leftovers in the fridge which we didn’t expect.

A modern, clean airy and bright apartment in a great location by the train station and only a short walk down to the port. Really helpful staff too- will be recommending to friends and family for future visits to Cartagena

Location was great. Right by the train station (in most towns that's a rough area but not in Cartegena). Easy walk to waterfront, Calle Mayor etc. Spacious apartment with a very good shower. Supermarket right across the street.

Everything was better than I had expected really. Completely contactless check-in via smart phone lock on the door. Large and nicely decorated apartment, Smart TV with netflix account and the mattress was exceptional.

Wasn't the easiest too find as the address had taken us further up the street but sorted very quickly with the helpful receptionist through WhatsApp.
