A perfect apartment for two. The views over the Med are amazing. The apartment has everything you need, and we cooked a few times (10 minute walk to the nearest Mercadona and there is a wheelie shopping bag in the apartment to help). Two verandas - if you are sun worshipers the upper one is amazing, and has views to the mountains and the sea. We were glad of the two sunshades! We rarely used the air con as the overhead fan and gentle breeze from the open door in the bedroom was enough. The communal pool area was great. It never got too busy and there is shade, sun loungers (4€) and a snack bar too. The whole complex is very well maintained, and the gardens are particularly beautiful. The walk down and up the steps to the Burriana Beach is worth the effort, but as an overweight, menopausal woman, I saw it as a challenge rather than off putting. I’m not going to lie, it is hard, but well worth it for the beach and great restaurants. Takes about 10 minutes to get back up. 15 mins to walk into beautiful Nerja. Our communication with Emma the owner was great and she was very helpful.

This is a lovely little apartment, well furnished, spotlessly clean with a great view over the sea. It’s a 10 minute walk to Burriana beach and all the bars & restaurants (quite a steep climb back up!) and a 30 second walk to the pool where there are sun loungers, bar and cafe. The owner is very responsive and happy to answer any queries. Would highly recommend, perfect for a couple.

Idyllic!! Perfect location!! Beautiful views!! You can sit and people watch or read on The Terrace in complete privacy!! Really lovely having the choice of the solarium or the terrace!!

Fantastic penthouse property on a nice complex, the only property not overlooked. We couldn’t find the BBQ that was listed but we decided to eat out every night, so it wasn’t a problem. It’s around 250 steps down to the beach, which would be difficult if not mobile, but was a great bit of exercise for us. To walk into the old town, you also need to go down the steps then up a hill, it’s a good walk after a meal and some drinks. The property did not feel as clean as you would like but we put everything into the dishwasher and had a quick wipe around, I do not think the apartment had been used for a while, so it was not a problem. Overall a great stay, fantastic property in a great location, not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Stunning view!! Nice little apartment that is perfect for two :)

We have been to Nerja many times and this is the best apartment we have stayed in. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well (although there was usually a breeze through the apartment and we never needed to use the air conditioning in the living room). The two terraces are the highlight of the apartment - very private and quiet with the most amazing views of the sea and mountains. It was always possible to get shade on the lower terrace (necessary in August!) and the upper terrace had sun all day - it would be fantastic in winter. We really enjoyed the walk into town, down through the landscaped gardens and then up the Burriana hill - it took about 20 minutes but was very manageable, even in the August heat. This will be at the top of our list of places to stay the next time we’re in Nerja (and we were very disappointed to see it’s not available in January!)

This Fabulous apartment is absolutely perfect for proper relaxation!! You can sit on One of The wonderful Terraces and read in peace and quiet or sit and people watch!!! So difficult to tear yourself away from The amazing view!!Will definitely book to go again!!! Absolute perfection!!!

Really nice apartment and comfy, the views are excellent. We really enjoyed having lunch at the terrace. Would like to come back.

Stayed in the apartment for 1 week end of August. Can’t fault the apartment itself, simple, modern decor, good appliances, clean and comfortable bed. Air con excellent. Views from both the balcony and the roof terrace were second to none! Even photos don’t do them justice. Full sea views from balcony including bedroom sea views which also has a Juliet balcony and wrap around mountain views and sea views as well from the roof terrace. Comfortable large sun beds x2 on roof terrace. Proper sun trap and very private (not all the apartments had this luxury and others were over looked but ours was the highest so nice and private) Only negative was the very steep trek down to the beach each time. The views are worth it but the steep steps (even with the lift that takes you half way down) were extremely tiring. We are 29 & 31 yrs old, healthy non smokers and we found it tough so if you have difficulty with fitness/steps and don’t intend to hire a car to go down to the beach this may be something to consider. The walk down/up, although tough is still beautiful with a lovely lake and water fountain and white washed buildings to wander through on route. The pool however is a 30 second walk from the apartment and is beautiful. It has a seperate children’s pool and has 2 snack bars and plenty of sun beds that you can hire for 3.50 euros a day. The beach is nice but busy as was peak season (with lots of water sports etc if you have children and like that sort of thing on your hols) quite a few bars and restaurants on burriana beach but we found it a little Brit’s abroad in parts :/ however it’such mote traditional in the old town. The old town is only a 15 min walk away and really recommend it! Beautiful with lots of bars and restaurants and viewing points. Recommendations: Copa Vino in old town - fine dining but not snobbish. Delicious food and wine. Went twice, by far the best food and service on our trip! Raw on burriana beach - tapas was beautiful, good service and good value for money. Yuu Taley - Thai restaurant on burriana beach - pricier than other restaurants but enjoyed a lovely meal here on our last night with great service. Buddha cocktail lounge - in old town roof terrace servin lush cocktails nice modern bar playing good music, went numerous times! As long as you’re aware of the steep hill and are prepared for this then you will LOVE this apartment. Communication with the owner was also very good.

Our second stay at this apartment was just as good as the first, very clean, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Our 5th stay/year in a row in this excellent apartment do probably say more than a lot of words. Simply the best! And we will of course return next year!

A beautiful location in a perfect setting. We stayed at this apartment a year ago and had some issues with cleanliness and getting the key on our arrival. We arrived and found no key in the key box. We were told the manager would come to let us in. We waited for 2 hours for keys to find the Manager had been on a day out. The linen was dirty especially the matteress protector and pillow protectors. We raised this issue with the owner and she apologised and said this was not the norm. She said she had had issues with cleaners and gone through 3 in a year. Because of the location we decided to give the owner a 2nd chance.having been assured it would be to a much better standard On arrival to our 2nd holiday at the apartment we immediatley checked the bed linnen to find it just as dirty as before, all badly stained. On checking the bathroom and kitchen we went out to buy cleaning products.We didn't contact the owner due to the delays last year as we needed to wash the bedding to be able to get into a clean bed. Problems found - Thin, old bedding which eventually opened into a big hole on bed sheet. Grey towels were bleach stained and fraying. Bathmat was dirty and frayed. Toilet brush was filthy and sat in soiled toilet water. Rusty bathroom cabinet so would not use. Bath would not empty so used a plunger to find it was clogged with thick black gunk. Dishwasher wasn't cleaning so checked the filter to find it full of slime, fat..and old food. Hob had burned on food. The freezer part of the fridge was so full of ice I couldn't get anything in it and the bottle holders had been removed from the door making space very limited. Kettle was choked with limescale. Sunbed cushions were stained and old as were the sun parasols. We arranged to clean our linen but needed a new sheet to replace the ripped one. contacted the owner. It was Sunday and she said did we want it that day or would Monday be ok.We arrived back after dinner on Monday to find the bed stripped and all towels we had laundered gone and replaced with marked ones.3 out of 4 pillowcases were so old and thin they were holed. I contacted the owner with photos and she said she would get some dropped off or we could buy some and she would reimburse us. After I emailed more photos I was given a refund of 8.5% which I hadn't agreed. Overall the boutique apartment did not live up to the description as it is in need of an upgrade and a good clean.

This was our second stay and it was just as good as last year. We find it so peaceful and gorgeous. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Love the sound of the sea and the breeze you get through the place. We think the location is perfect as we like walking - about 20 mins to the supermarket, and 30 into the centre. It’s hilly but we see it as a way to burn off some calories from all the delicious food and drink! Would definitely return again in the future. Thank you Emma.

Stayed in the apartment at the beginning of July. The apartment is very modern and tidy. The views were fabulous and the top balcony is not overlooked and a sun trap! Close to restaurants and bars by the beach and a short walk although uphill to Nerja town centre. The pool is very close by but far enough away not to hear any noise. Emma's communication was first class. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

This apartment was perfect for what we wanted for this holiday. The location is stunning, with probably the best views we have had in over 40 years of holidaying. Sitting on the roof terrace, with a slight breeze to reduce the heat of the afternoon was just superb. We came with hand luggage only, and found using the train and local bus option from Malaga was easy. Would recommend a taxi from the bus station to the apartment - we had plenty of time so walked through the town, down to Burriana then up the dusty road - which was a slog after a long day travelling - couldn't use the walk through the gardens till we got the key from the apartment. The apartment lives up to the excellent photos on this site - right at the top of the complex, with fantastic views of the beach and the mountains from both terraces. We spent some time on the beach, but found it difficult to drag ourselves away from the roof terrace - what a superb place to spend a few hours. The apartment had everything we needed - modern, light and cool. The bed was fabulous, and the apartment now has air con. A car would be useful, but there is a local bus stop a 2 minute walk away - 1 Euro into Nerja, and a taxi back was about 8 Euros, so not bad. The steps have been mentioned - about 200 down to the beach, and about 400 back up (well it seemed like it!) But the gardens are very well kept, clean, safe - the pond appears to be fed by running water, so although it looks green on some photos, it is actually crystal clear, with fish, terrapins and frogs swimming round the water lilies, so we approached it as a pleasant walk and it was fine (and we are getting on a bit). The view made it worthwhile. There is a pool and snack bar a couple of minutes away, 10 minutes down to the beach, with loads of bars and restaurants, and then another 15 - 20 mins walk into town. 10 minute walk the other way to an excellent large and modern supermarket. Would we book again? In a heartbeat -as long as our kness hold out!

Lovely apartment, great views.

Very modern, light and bright apartment overlooking the ocean and mountains. So relaxing .

Have just spent two weeks in apartment 522 and enjoyed every day, even if it was colder than usually. We had some problems: The front door lock would not open, but the locksmith rushed out in ten minutes on Easter monday and fixed the lock. Then we had no hot water because the heater gave up, but the owner's contact, Jo, contacted a very efficient serviceman, and in the course of a half day we could again enjoy a hot shower. We have already tried to book the same apartment before Easter next year, but when it was not possible , the owner contacted a friend of hers who has an apartment in the neighbourhood, and that solved our problem! We'll be back!

Fourth stay in this excellent apmt during february. And we will definately return next year. Must be one of the apmts in the area with the best view. Love it!! Excellent for two people.

Absolutely stunning views. Fabulous apartment.

It was a lovely apartment in a great location. Stunning views and very peaceful and quiet. It was a bit of a climb up from the beach but it does state this in the information given. There is a lift which takes you up/down a few floors but not all the way. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is within close proximity. We are really looking forward to going back. One of the nicest holidays we have had.

This is a lovely apartment with spectacular views. Everything was clean and modern and very tasteful. The location is also ideal for a walk down to Burriana Beach or further afield into Nerja town. You will work your dinner off though with the walk back up the steps to the apartment.

Excellent location and a very well equipped, clean apartment. We loved the scenic walk through the complex and gardens to the beach and town. We also walked the other way up to the main road to the supermarket. We were able to completely relax and sometimes spent the majority of the day at the apartment before finally getting around to going out! We loved the sound of the waves and the lovely sea breeze. We hired a car and most of the time we were able to park close by. Thank you Emma for letting your wonderful apartment! We will be recommending!
