Excellent location, service, our bedroom with the television had an amazing sleigh bed, I had the best sleep. Mike the owner was very hospitable and gave us a run down on pubs, restaurants etc. We will definitely rebook.

Kitchen rather small but had every i needed to cook a full English breakfast one morning, so it's not really a complaint, everything was brilliant.

We only needed accommodation for one night (attended a wedding in Newton Abbot). The hosts were SUPER friendly and very accommodating, allowing us a chance to check in early (so we could at least drop our stuff off before heading to the wedding). The place was great, lots of space for our family of three. Beds were amazingly comfy - best sleep in ages. Lots of activities and games (although we were so tired after the wedding we went straight to bed. Probably should’ve checked the fridge before my hubby went to the shops in the morning 🙄, as it was kindly stocked with staple items. Wish we had a chance to stay longer as I was very intrigued by reading the collection of info on the area (particularly all the restaurant/food options!). If we were ever to come back to NA, we’d def stay again. Thanks again

Mike was a great host. Let us know where everything in town was. Nice and roomy with an extra bedroom for our baggage. Nice self-service breakfast. Great water pressure in the shower. Parking next to the apartment. Easy walk to town. Pushka the dog was a sweet heart.

The hosts were lovely and made sure we got settled in nicely but also provided complete privacy. Great location. Easy to walk for a delicious dinner. There was even parking for our rental car. The beds were heavenly ❤️. Loved that there was milk, cereal and bread available for breakfast. Wished we could have stayed longer but would definitely stay another time.

the road is very steep - this should be mentioned on the description as is not suitable for those with mobility issues. the property was quite tired and needed a bit of a refresh, especially the bathroom - the bath and over bath shower (a mixer tap shower) are not accessible for disabled people so I feel this should be mentioned on the property description too. definitely a lack of sound insulation between the owner’s accommodation and the flat.

it was really cold! heating went off early in the evening and wasn’t on in the morning before we up. I admit to being a cold person but I was uncomfortable. I suspect hosts don’t know as they won’t stay in the property themselves.

A real bonus to have breakfast provided.

We liked everything, cosy and warm plus inviting. Very considerate as thought if everything, toiletries, breakfast and a coffee machine. Books, games etc
