The house is on a quiet cul de sac. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking our morning coffee and listening to the birds. Close to gas station and convenience store. Beautiful view from the nearby overlook. Hazy Mountain Vineyard is a must while visiting.

We had an amazing time. The home was even more spacious than the photos depicted. It had all of the extras and was very clean. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from Liberty. We wanted to stay near the Wintergreen / Charlottesville area to venture out a bit. It was awesome. We’re sure glad we selected this property.

Perfect size. We had a wonderful time. Suggestions: need surface cleaner, broom and dustpan, pictures (rather bare nails) in bathroom.

Enjoyed the last weekend of the season that received a day of natural snow. The Tyro property had everything we need to enjoy our stay.

This was a nice property. Kitchen was well-equipped, and had everything we needed. There was confusion with the directions, but that was primarily because there was zero visibility coming in. I think they have been updated now, but the house is on the left, not the right of the street. Otherwise, the only complaint is that we never got working internet, but cell service was decent, so that wasn't a major inconvenience.

Way too small, was 90 w/no air. Windows didn’t open. Outdated stained towels. Not worth it for summer price.

The place is very worn out. The towels were stained, no matching silverware nor enough. Everything seems very dated and in need of a real face lift. It is also very small

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in while skiing at Wintergreen, with nice views and easy access to the Tyro trail. The exterior and interior are up to date and well cared for, appliances are modern, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen for an easy vacation. You couldn't ask for a nicer setting than being perched in the woods on the side of the mountain. Thank you!

Our family of four stayed for an extended weekend to play on the slopes. 167 Tyro was a perfect option for us. There was plenty of sleeping space; the kids could have brought friends. The description was spot on with no surprises. We really appreciated that if we forgot something or if we were hungry, we could easily go between the tyro trail and the house in no time. Each night we enjoyed warming up to the fireplace while listening to music and watching tv. The owner's are easy to communicate with.

Nice location to ski in and out on Tyro. Property was a good home base for a fun family ski weekend.

Perfect winter base camp for a family ski trip. The cabin is a great setup for our boys & daughter to have rooms of their own. With all the tools in the kitchen, we were able to prepare all our own meals & bake cookies to enjoy after a day of skiing.

This is such a perfect place for a group of 6 or 8. Very cozy!

Easy communication with host, keypad access was very convenient

We had a great week with our daughter and her 18 month old. The member passes gave us access to resort amenities, which we used. The house manager is responsive and helpful. The only reason we did not give the on line listing five stars is the deck railing is not safe for toddlers but otherwise place is great for a mountain vacation.

TV didn’t work. Unit not clean . Stuff in shower from people before . Fan broken in upstairs room no airflow ! Back screen door fell off when you opened it . No outside lighting it was broken also ! Took a dog paid extra couldn’t even see to walk her ! Wouldn’t give a refund as ask !

This is a single family home on the Wintergreen Resort property. We stayed here over a summer weekend due to its proximity to our family. Communication from the owner was good and check in instructions were easy to follow. The property itself could have been made more presentable prior to our arrival considering the price of the stay but it was sufficient for our needs.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It was also very close to the slopes. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay. The home was just as described. The hill that some complained about was no steeper than most of the other places on the mountain. Our kids loved having the upstairs loft to themselves. The kitchen is updated and we were able to enjoy preparing meals having everything we needed. This house is great! The property manager, Kim, is super available and responsive. The house is nice and large enough for two families -- there are two bedrooms with full baths on the first floor, and a loft for the kids upstairs. The location is close to the Mountain Inn, and just a few minute drive to the golf club, spa, and pool. We brought in our groceries and cooked in for dinners -- was lovely and convenient. Coffee machine is nice, and there was coffee in the freezer, which was nice. We brought our own, but good to know there is extra for emergencies! The furniture is comfortable and well maintained. The beds and towels were also nice. Would definitely recommend this house, and anything that Kim is hosting! She really is a wonderful host!
