EVERYTHING!! The lovely home with every detail thought out. we’ve traveled a fair bit across the globe and we found Mossy Hill Suite to be super. Great location, great hosts, lovely views overlooking a gorgeous garden, the patio and the barbecue, the super comfy home with two beautifully appointed bedrooms, the cosy and comfortable living and dining and the large well equipped kitchen with all the lovely food and fruit our hosts had left for us. what more can we say….. The space and view of the garden (with very busy bees and hummingbirds in late Aug) were beautiful. The kitchen was well set up with many options for a continental breakfast waiting for us. We had everything we needed to explore Salt Spring, while the beds and facilities were comfortable. There was very little traffic noise or noise from the other parts of the property.

We had a mix of dietary needs in our family and weren't asked about that before arriving. Not really a big deal, but it's the only thing I can think of!

We like everything with Mossyhill Guesthouse including the hosts, Luba & Bruce.

This is a great location to stay minutes away from Ganges on Salt Spring Island. Bruce and Luba have put a lot of thought into setting up this place. Nicely decorated with lots of attention to details for things that guests could possible need. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils, supplies that you might need. Supplies for continental breakfast + our supplied including milk, eggs, bread, bagels, yogurt and even some fruit! Bar-b-que and patio available for guest use. Spotlessly clean. Private and quiet - they give guests their own space in this unit. In-unit laundry facilities. Nice view through a picture window of their garden.

Mattresses on the beds are starting to show their age and are on the soft side with not much back support, air conditioning and/or better air flow through the unit would have been nice as there are only 2 windows in the unit that can be opened.

Easy to check in

Iwould like to suggest a screen built into the front door for air circulation. It was gorgeous warm weather and a bit stuffy in the main living area.

The owners care about the feeling of their guests. Spotless and beautiful settings, lots of options of food for breakfast. Close to the town center and many attractions

Their consideration of every aspects of the need of the guests. They prepared everything inside the property and you can find most of the items like spices and utensils you need for your cooking . The breakfast provided is wonderful.

Lots of good and healthy choices for breakfast - covered all our needs. Location was lovely and quiet; not far from Ganges which made for an easy trip in! Much better than staying in a hotel.

The suite is centrally located, just outside Ganges, and beautifully fitted. Beds are very comfortable. Laundry facilities are a nice touch.

The property, the views were both spectacular. Very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds too.

The property is well maintained, very clean and well situated to the town centre. The unit itself is above the town on a steep hill in a residential area. Very quiet. The unit was private, spacious and well appointed. We were most impressed with the bed and bedding - slept like a baby.

The property was in a great location to approach the Saturday market and downtown area at Ganges, it was extremely clean, the holes were very friendly, as was the deer that kept us company in the yard.
