The apartment was in a great location.
Interior was light and spacious and nicely furnished.
Having a parking space was a great advantage.

Beautiful, light and spacious. Excellent location and having a dedicated parking space in the centre of Swanage (by experience), is a luxury. It is up a hill, but you can drop bags off first. The apartment was clean, quiet and has everything you'd need for a great short or long stay holiday! The hosts are great at keeping in touch should you need anything.
The single room can fit an adult, but it's extremely small, so it's probably better for a child or a teen. There was an issue where the double bed slats kept popping out, but the hosts were super helpful and fixed it swiftly.

Very clean apartment with super comfy beds and well-equppied kitchen. Excellent location only a few minutes walk from the shops and beach. Good communication with owners.
It was a shame that when we visited the doors and windows were being painted, which meant noisy builders early in the mornings, lack of privacy as bathrooms had no blinds, no use of the balcony, and reduced security with open windows while paint dried. The third bedroom is a very small boxroom with the bed under the boiler - ok for a child, but a bit of a squeeze for a tall teenager.

Vast amount of space for a Swanage property and no compromise on facilities. Two bathrooms, endless wardrobe/storage space, loads of coat hangers, a safe, fully equipped kitchen, blackout blinds where necessary, mirrors, comfortable beds, lovely balcony for the sunset, all your washing, ironing and cleaning facilities, not even a 5 minute walk into town, designated parking space
Not negatives, but warnings to other people that maybe don’t know Swanage very well and that you have to take the rough with the smooth!
The parking space is a bit of a walk up a relatively steep hill at the Purbeck House hotel, however, to get a free designated parking space anywhere in Swanage is an absolute premium wherever it is, especially for an apartment! You can pull into the lay-by on the main road at the hotel opposite the apartment and drop your stuff off anyway which helps.
The small single bedroom is exactly that, didn’t affect us as it wasn’t used but it is literally just a bed underneath a boiler. Again, finding space in Swanage is a premium and if it’s a compromise you have to make then it’s do-able.

Wow what a wonderful apartment located very close to the all amenities in Swanage town centre. The apartment was very clean and very spacious for four family adults and very excellent value for money. Private secure car parking also included. I received a lovely little message from the owners wishing myself and my family a pleasurable stay in their apartment even including their own mobile numbers should i need to contact them with any problems or concerns. I would highly recommend to all to stay here at 8 Springhill House in dear old Swanage. Big thank you to the owners of 8 Springhill House. You truly have a gorgeous apartment which you allow other people to have the pleasure of staying in.
There was nothing not to like. The apartment was excellently decorated and all efforts obviously made by the hosts to make one's stay a pleasurable one. Only thing i did not like I have suddenly thought was, i didn't have long enough time to stay there.

Not enough loo paper to get through first day.
Very cold when we arrived so would have liked some heating on before especially as lower level took some time to warm up.
Stools were unstable to sit on. Perhaps an extra chair instead.

Couldn’t work the extractor fan in the en-suite bathroom. Boiler overhead in small single room (only a problem when someone showered early hence firing up the boiler but the comfy bed made up for that!)

Beautiful apartment, clean and done out to a very high spec. Spacious, and comfortable on the whole. Ceiling fan in the master bedroom. Lovely showers. Great for up to 4 adults and a child. Lovely balcony with seating. Great location in the town and 5 minutes walk from the seafront.
We found it very hot in the twin bedroom and living space, although it was particularly hot outside. The windows in the bedrooms are pretty heavy sash windows so they are not easy to open. Could do with a couple of standing fans in the apartment and a parasol on the balcony as it got very hot in the evenings. The venetian blind didn't work in the twin room. Although not used, the single room is only suitable for a child. It just has space for a bed and bedside table. The window didn't seem to open and there's a boiler above the bed. The slats on the master bed kept popping out.

Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, newly & and tastefully decorated and spacious. Excellent location for both seafront & town centre yet amazingly peaceful.
That the windows don’t open, which is ok in the day as the patio doors can be opened but a bit airless at night for sleeping.

The apartment is very well decorated, clean and very spacious. The location is ideal, right in the town plus with its own parking spot at the Purbeck hotel across the road. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The flat was very spacious and well presented. It was ideally located - very close to the town centre.
We have been regular visitors to Swanage for many, many years. Only sorry we hadn't found it sooner!
The kitchen was a little dated. I kept turning the taps the wrong way and the water kept shooting out.

We loved this apartment perfect location for the centre of Swanage. Beautifully clean and bright fabulous decor. Great facilities with everything you need for a relaxing stay, would definitely look this place up again if we’re back this way.
