Where to begin, this is a 10/10 hotel, from the Owners, the booking rep, the receptionist, the bartenders, the cooks, the cleaning staff, the windsurf instructors, everyone has the biggest Greek hospitality! What an absolute pleasure was to engage in conversation with all of them. And NOW.... THE VIEW!!! People do yourself a favor and stop looking for any othe accommodation if you found Philoxenia is your lucky day!! Belive me when I tell you I know paradise, I'm from Costa Rica, but I can tell you this hotel is also paradise!! Thank you so much Philoxenia, I will be back.

I loved absolutely everything about this property! It is paradise, our room was great and very clean, our view was amazing, the beach is right there! The pool is beautiful, the breakfast great, loved the chicken tacos! The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! I will definitely be back! This is Paradise!!

The location is stunningly beautiful, overlooking a lovely sandy beach and just across the sea to Naxos. I chose to stay here for a night because I wanted to check it out as somewhere to stay next year (spring or summer) for work as well as for a few days holiday. I liked the fact that it's still an authentic Greek experience, with the traditional blue wood shutters on the windows and little courtyards between the rooms. It's a very friendly place, somewhere you feel comfortable travelling on your own, which is really down to great staff who are very attentive and helpful. Wifi is great (not true of everywhere on the islands & important for work). The food was really exceptional. (I was a bit worried because some of the breakfast reviews weren't good - it's sometimes difficult to assess what people are expecting - there was scrambled egg, fried tomatoes with feta, fresh bread, Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit salad, and a whole jar of locally-produced honey on the table. Which made for a pretty good breakfast as far as I was concerned. Not forgetting slices of fresh watermelon, and cereals, granola etc if that's what you prefer). Evening menu is next level - shrimp tacos were amazing. Dakos salad also beautifully presented - like a savoury cheese cake.
