Thank you for providing our family with such a wonderful home to spend time with our 35 family members from Texas, Georgia and North Carolina. This is our 10th time doing a reunion like this (always in ocean Isle) and we all agree Southern Comfort is our new all time favorite. We cook all breakfasts and diners at the house so the 2 kitchens w all those appliances made it so nice for all of us to cook and eat together. Kudos to the 2 double Wolf ranges-nice touch. Our group agrees this house also has the best pool / tiki bar set up and most comfortable mattresses we have ever had. We appreciate the quick replies and detailed information provided by Laura Ann. We loved Southern Comfort and will certainly return. Best house in Ocean Isle.

We rented Southern Comfort for 5 days and our wedding took place right on the beach and at the house. We heated the pool (SO worth it!) and all our guests had a blast. The house is amazing, and we had about 33 friends (including 6 below 4 years old) stay with us and we never felt cramped! We did have an issue with the insinkerator and the dishwasher, however LauraAnn was really good in keeping in touch, and got someone over to fix the sink and put in a brand new dishwasher the same day. I highly recommend Southern Comfort!

Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home! Our group had an unbelievable time at Southern Comfort. We were referred to Luxury Lodging by Laura by a dear friend and the house we originally wanted wasn’t available. Laura then suggested we try Southern comfort and boy are we glad we did it. This house has everything. We had 34 people and cooked almost every meal at the house. The 2 kitchens right on the same floor were a God send. We had room for our whole family to eat together. There are also very nice covered decks w a few patio tables. House had a Phenomenal location. Kids walked to putt putt twice and to get ice cream. The “BIG” kids walked to bars and we all walked to dinner one night. The town of Ocean Isle is now our favorite. We have stayed in many large beautiful homes but Southern Comfort will now be “our” place. Thank you!

We rounded up 34 family members from 6 states and had the time of our lives at Southern Comfort in Ocean Isle Beach! We loved the locations and layout of this home and the staff is first class all the way-always ready to respond and just genuinely cared if our family was happy and we certainly were. We cooked every night so the 4 ovens (has VIKINGS) and 4 refrigerator all on the MAIN level of the house w plenty of dining tables to all sit together was PERFECT for us. Loved the pool area w Big decks and tiki bar...they even have 2 walkways to the beach right from the main level of the house. There were 4 bedrooms on the first/main floor so the “seasoned/seniors” could all have a room on that floor-a real treat. All the bedrooms had a bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable and decor was beautiful. Killer location- We could walk to everything in town. I almost forgot to mention the golfing is unbelievable....possibly as good as Myrtle Beach. The Thistle was my personal favorite. We didn’t host a wedding but I can certainly see why people do them there. We just can’t say enough nice things about our experience and we loved Southern Comfort and Ocean Isle Beach (1st timers to this beach). Thank you Fishers for creating the perfect family gathering spot! Our family of 35 traveled from Texas, Ohio, NC, and Atlanta to be together and we could not have picked a better home. Loved having two kitchen (especially the stoves) and all the gathering space being on the main floor allowed us to hang out together and eat all our meals together. The Weather was beautiful and the heated pool worked out so nicely....the kids (of all ages) spent countless hours in there playing and making memories w their cousins. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE. Please tell me where to get them. Thank you for The always fast responses and I just really appreciate how much you seemed to care that my family was happy and having a good time. Your staff was wonderful and shared your same spirit of excellent customer service. The home was exceptionally clean and your pool area and beach access was perfect. We did a lot of bonding at the tiki bar!! Thanks again for providing the perfect spot for our extended family!! We will definitely return!

Early October we held a family reunion on Ocean Isle Beach.Although the weather was a little cool, the beach was amazing.The house was large enough to accommodate everyone, with enough space to escape for a few hours of alone time if you needed.We are hoping to do this again in a couple of years and this house is at the top of our list.

Fantastic place for friends and family to unite

Had an amazing vacation at this property. It was everything we expected and more. We enjoyed many meals at the Tiki bar and pool area! It is a awesome house, with plenty of rooms and amenities.

This is our 6th year staying in a Luxury Lodging by Laura house, though this our first time at Southern Comfort. We wanted a bit bigger house this summer and this one was perfect for our group! With 12 bedrooms we all had our own space and bathroom to relax in when we weren't gathered together in the large kitchen/living areas. As with the other house Laura has exceeded our expectations for what a vacation home should be. We have already planned to return to OIB next year in another "Laura" house.

We had a great family reunion from 5/15/18 - 5/22/18 in the Southern Comfort house! We had 23 adults and 6 children. The bedrooms were great because several bedrooms had 2 queen beds. Young families really enjoyed being able to have their kids in the room with them in their own bed. Each bedroom had its own bathroom - perfect! The location of the house is great because we could walk to town very easily. The house provided plenty of room for all of us to eat meals inside or outside. The outside space is plentiful. We made good use of the pool, and it was also nice to have the beach and ocean right there. We would recommend this house for large groups. We are already talking about future reunions here! I just want to thank Luxury Lodging By Laura for sharing your amazing home. Our group of 32 had the time of our lives at Southern comfort. We appreciate the prompt answering of all questions and The house was spotless and perfect for us. The beds were so comfy and pool area is fantastic. We loved hanging out on all the decks and the private beach access was so convenient. I can definitely see why you have weddings at this house-it would be perfect (but I've already been married for 33 years). We loved having 2 full kitchens and 2 living areas. The floor plan made it so easy for the whole family to cook, eat and be together. My only regret was renting 5 days instead of 7. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home. We can't wait to come back and just referred some friends of ours to one of your other homes, The Memory Maker.

This home was absolutely stunning inside and out. It had everything you needed for the perfect gathering. The ocean view was the icing on the cake. I can't wait to come back again!

AMAZING house! Every room was comfortable and really gave an at-home feeling. I truly enjoyed the views early in the morning and at sunset so I know most definitely I’ll be returning. Awesome location and the pier was great as well. Nice diner with very friendly staff and great food!

There are no words to describe the beautiful house we had the pleasure of staying in. From the perfect views to the oversized kitchens we were really able to enjoy ourselves without feeling crowded or on top of each other. I can wait to come back and stay again. We had all of the comforts of home.

I absolutely loved the location. EVERY room was soo pretty. Very clean and perfect size.. Not to mention the walkout balcony from my room to watch the beachfront is perfect.My friends will definitely book this location every time..
