Amazing cottage. Super clean and comfortable! Absolutely anything you might need is provided. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds very comfortable with nice, soft linens. Plenty of nice towels on the modern, updated bathroom. Views from the living room are beautiful on the water and yard. Very nice gathering spaces outside with a fire pit and cozy gas heater table on the deck. Check in and check out were simple and clearly communicated. We were even welcomed with a note, vase of wild flowers, and bottle of local wine. Very thoughtful! Best of all, our dog was welcomed and very comfortable and happy with all the windows to look out. I cannot emphasize how clean and comfortable this cottage is. Just like home! Many good restaurants near by. Plenty of things to do including a nice golf course and hiking trails. We would definitely return!

Riverbend Retreat was an absolutely perfect home for our relaxing “babymoon.” The area around the property was quiet and peaceful which was perfect for nightly campfires and viewing wildlife (we saw a bald eagle multiple times across the river). The owners had an amazing attention to detail and there were so many amenities, including firewood, games, fully-stocked kitchen, and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The furniture both inside and outside were comfortable, especially the bed (even for this 8 month pregnant soon to be mama). The icing on the cake was it was dog friendly so our dog could join us on our relaxing weekend! He had a blast running around the backyard and swimming in the river off of the dock. Communication with the owners was easy and quick. We didn’t have any issues, but I’m sure if we would have the response would have been quick. We will definitely back!!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Riverbend Retreat! The owners truly have thought of everything and the house is so well stocked with anything you may need. On top of that, the property was incredibly clean. This was the best vacation rental we have been to in the Northwoods! I would give this listing 10 stars if it was possible. We will for sure be back! Pictures do not do this property justice with how wonderful it is! Also, the view of the river is amazing and super easy access to kayak!!

Very happy with this stay. The house was perfectly sized for us and very clean and cozy! The welcome bottle of wine from a local winery was a nice touch. The fire pit and lighted stairs to the dock were great! Would love to stay in the summer too!! Thanks for the nice weekend!

This place is a must stay if you are in Eagle River. The house has all the comforts of home, they have thought of everything. The location is close to town yet the setting is so peaceful with amazing river views and wildlife to watch. Thanks, Jake and Jenny for the welcome note and bottle of wine! We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Eagle River.

What a great stay! Exactly as described & even better in person! We loved the house warming thank you note & bottle of wine when we checked in! Gorgeous views of the water & beautiful pine trees everywhere! Comfy beds & living room furniture. Nice updated bathroom. Definitely, would love to stay here again.

What a great place to stay. Beutiful view of the river and the Kayaks we were able to use gave us an upclose view of the local area, truly a great place to stay. Enjoyed the Bottle of local wine left for us as a welcome gift which we enjoyed the first evening. Plenty to see and do in the area. The property was very well maintined and clean.

Beautiful pet friendly property right on Eagle River Lake Chain. Plenty of things to see and do. Great dock for tying up the boat. Enjoyed the use of the outdoor area, kayaks and games.

Owners were fast to reply. House was clean, comfortable, and only a few minutes from downtown. There were beautiful views into the snow-covered trees with deer and turkeys wandering around the neighborhood. The house was well stocked, laundry machines worked well, and the beds comfortable. It was wonderful being able to bring our dog along!! We would definitely stay here again!

Any questions get a hold of Jake. Rock star host. The place was great. Beer fridge outside the back door was nice so you don’t have to go in the house. Fire pit was really nice with plenty of wood. The pier is new and really nice. It has bumpers. We had a pontoon boat and the pier was awesome. In the evenings we would idle the pontoon boat to watersmeet lake and back. Great location away from the busy lakes and channels of eagle river. The house had all the amenities. The large living room wind was nice to look out on the river and bird feeders. We played many a game on the living room table.

Any questions get a hold of Jake. Rock star host. The place was great. Beer fridge outside the back door was nice so you don’t have to go in the house. Fire pit was really nice with plenty of wood. Great Stay
The fire pit is really nice. We spent many a night relaxing and talking with the family at the fire. The house has everything you need. It has a nice view out the living room. There is a beer frig just outside the door going into the kitchen. That was very convenient. Parking was ample. The pier is really nice and we had rented a pontoon boat. We sat on the pier in the evening watching the boats go by. It is a great stay and you are away from the busy traffic of Eagle River. Jake is always at hand if you need something.

We cannot say enough how great this property was for us, and Jake & Jenn thought of everything! Jake was very available if we needed anything, but it was perfectly prepared for our stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a comfortable and relaxing winter weekend! The house was just the right size for our family weekend. We slept comfortably and enjoyed sitting around the dining room table for dinner. The large living room windows let so much light in the house! We had fun watching the chickadees, squirrels, and deer in the yard. We also enjoyed a fire in the outdoor pit. The house is a short drive to many cross-country ski trails and Tribute Brewing! We are anxious to come back and keep exploring the area!

The house was amazing and clean. Whenever we had questions we got fast responses. The beds were very comfy. And the outdoor fire pit area was great for night time smores and watching the fire. The house was in town which is nice to be close to everything. And every single day we saw so many deer and wildlife. It was so beautiful. We would stay here again.
