Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds are great. Breakfast was a very delicious and traditional Colombian menu. Massages were fun. But the highlight gotta be the service, it's something else. I was sick and needed some medicine, Eduardo, the host, went to the pharmacy in person to get the medicine and even paid from his own pocket. I obviously refunded the money but still, that was something else. No doubt I will stay at this hotel during my next trip. PS. My fiancee and in-laws also loved the place and specially the service.

Very nice place in countryside of beautiful zona cafetera. Owner and staff arewxtremely nice, uncomolicated and orhanize everything you can imagine for you. Owner has sent a huge amount of sight-seeing- and restaurant recommendation in advance. Just be aware that this is no 5-Star hotel, it's an authentic nice litte place which fits perfectly in this area. Simple, but amazing. Will definitely go there again.

The host English speaking Don Eduardo is the best at friendliness, helpfulness and making sure your stay is a pleasant one! The rest of the safe, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding. The pool, massages are relaxing. The hotel is in a central location, where you can visit Filandia , Salento and other sites to see.

This was our second stay at Hotel Spa Cotinga. I got two incredible 80 min massages this time and the entire stay was so relaxing.

The property was beautiful, the room well appointed and clean with a hot shower, good breakfast, and the staff (especially the owner Eduardo) is incredibly warm and helpful. We were sorry to only have one night here as the spa area and pool looked amazing.

wow! this property was fantastic! Eduardo is a genuinely wonderful host who welcomes you into his home as if you're old friends. The breakfast was fresh, great and made with care. We stayed in the presidential suite which was very spacious, had a big bathroom, view and balcony with a comfortable king bed. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect after a long day and the pool was sparkling clean though we were too cold to swim. Perfect retreat. highly recommend.

We had the presidential suite, which is huge and the bed was extra confy. I particularly appreciated the games available and the amazing hospitality of the owner and all the team. they were simply amazing!!!

A bit too close to a main road, you can definitely hear the noise of traffic.

I have never in my nearly 40 years of staying in hotels had such a private, personalized, relaxing, comfortable, homey experience as I had throughout my entire week at Cotinga. The owner was immediately like a friend, connecting with us daily to ensure we had the best stay possible (including waiting on us for a huge personalized daily breakfast, changing our room to a better one without being asked, giving us private access at the time we requested daily to his spa facilities, trusting us to use his living room and kitchen facilities to suit our needs, and just generally making our whole family feel right at home). Furthermore, the grounds are beautiful and well-equipped, the staff is very warm and polite, and the room we stayed in was exceptionally beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. What more could you want?

I never stepped foot in the large outdoor pool because I found it too cold for the temperate, rainy climate. However, daily access to the large indoor hot tub more than made up for that.

My husband and I loved our stay at Cotinga Hotel Spa. Eduardo took care of everything for us. The spa treatments are delightful and the grounds are beautiful! I love the high end shower products from my favorite local brand.The jacuzzi and saunas are an added bonus. We will be back!!

Outstanding in every respect. Eduardo was always there to help, advise and make us comfortable. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the hotel grounds are exquisite. The free jacuzzi and sauna were something we had not come across anywhere before.

It’s beautiful location perched on the hill and open air dining experience just welcomes you to relax pool side among the assortment of trees! The resorts host Eduardo was exceptional with hospitality and making you feel right at home instantly. Definitely take advantage of the spa!

Eduardo and his team are truly amazing. No matter if it's in the morning, afternoon, evening or even late at night, they will do everything to make your stay memorable. We got offered to borrow his own and his daughters mountainbike and even a bike rack for our car. We had a massage which was fantastic. Breakfast was comprehensive and fresh. The accommodation is new and clean. Probably one of our best accommodations in Colombia.

The shower sometimes was a bit cold, but when that happened we got help within a few minutes and the problem got solved.

Eduardo was a great host! He was really attentive and had helpful tips about what to see around Pereira and how to use the local bus. He speaks really good English. To get into Pereira you need a taxi/Uber but it that was super easy so we really enjoyed the hotel a little further out of the city! The jacuzzi was really relaxing. We highly recommend to stay with Eduardo!

Eduardo and Minerva went above and beyond to make sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in this beautiful hotel. It was the perfect place to recover after 3 days' hiking in the National Park. A huge comfortable bed, jacuzzi, sauna, delicious dinner and massages all for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!

Eduardo was attentive, accommodating, friendly, and spoke at least Spanish and English. He took so much pride in telling us how he remodeled a family finca to create this beautiful, tranquil space and made sure we knew our typical Colombian breakfast was all hyper locally sourced! What a great way to sustain the local economy. It was clear he had thought through all the details - the bathrooms even had wash clothes and spa towels (the first I've seen after traveling through Colombia over 5 months).

We have literally nothing to complain about.
