I would give this unit a 4+star review it was clean, comfortable and a good location except for some road noise, but the check-in process was difficult. We needed two entry codes (one for the building and one for the unit) we were only given one code. And turns out it wasn’t correct, the numbers were jumbled. A resident let us into the building and gave us the building code, we got vrbo to help us figure out the jumbled unit code before we were able to get in. There was no way to communicate (that I could figure out) with the owner or property manager, all of the communication I received was by donotreply email. VRBO came to the rescue!

We were so grossed out that we left after our 1st night despite paying for 5 nights. The issues ranged from cleanliness (dirty dishes & utensils, no clean sponge provided, shower drain cover filled with hair, dusty surfaces in basic places like the nightstands and dresser, dirty dresser drawers) to broken furniture and appliances (broken chair, broken dishwasher that was filthy & foul smelling inside, fridge and dishwasher were not secured in their housing such that you could not open either one without the entire appliance sliding out). The fan also didn’t seem to work properly, as the unit got hot at night despite the heat being off and temps being in the teens. The unit itself has the odor of an old building, and the linens smelled musty. We asked the host to allow us to cancel and to refund us for the remaining nights we did not stay but they refused. They have a no cancellation policy, yet we felt this ask was reasonable given that this was not our fault - instead they failed us by renting a place that needed multiple repairs and a deep clean before being listed again. Their only offer was a 15% discount, and sending the cleaners to come again (which did not fix much). The property manager also came to look at the dishwasher, and said a repair tech would need to come the next day, which would have been the 3rd person interrupting our stay. The host did not seem to have any care about our experience or to even understand how unacceptable the condition of the unit was.

Copperbottom Inn is centrally located, close to all in Park City. Walk to stores, easy bus to downtown. Unit is comfortable, small but adequate kitchen, two small bathrooms, with updated and nice showers/tubs. Bed comfortable, but bedding could be renewed. Property manager very responsive, fixed a Wi-Fi issue quickly. Best part: great views to mountains.

The unit is as advertised and in a terrific location just north of downtown Park City. Easy access to bike paths (a negative was not being able to store bikes inside) and bus stops. Fresh Market and Walgreen’s walking distance. Drawback was no A/C and it got hot a couple of days. Luckily it cools off at night and doors can remain open. Two full baths for just 2 of us a definite plus.

The views of the ski area from the balcony are beautiful. The balcony overlooks the Jan's ski shop parking lot. The layout for this small space was quite efficient. The appliances, bathroom and flooring were nicely done. The furniture, however, was inexpensive and very uncomfortable. As was mentioned in previous posts about this property- the closet was jammed full of old pillows and bedding- leaving little room for guest storage.

This is a very nice condo in a good building that has a great location. The condo is very nice for two people; if there are four, they had better be VERY friendly. The condo is clean, pleasant, comfortable and has a great view. It has a great TV, great appliances, great bed, great black out curtains and very good sound attenuation windows (There is almost constant, but not objectionable, traffic noise.) that block out almost all sound. It is walking distance (.7 mile) from downtown Park City, which you can reach by a very pleasant walking trail that has tunnels under streets and meanders beside a pleasant stream (Poison Creek sounds kind of ominous, doesn't it?). There are tennis/pickleball courts and a broad grass sports field within 300 yards of the condo. We played Smashball there almost every morning. There is a Fresh Foods market and Walgreen's within a quarter of a mile. All in all, it was pretty much perfect for us and we stayed there for a month in August. To be aware of: 1. Closet space is limited. There are two closets, one of which has a deadbolt on it. The other has a hanging rod and five shelves, however the shelves are crammed with all sorts of bedding (I lost count at 12 pillows). Fortunately, you can just throw some of that in the shower in the extra bathroom. There is a small chest of drawers. 2. There is something odd about the wi-fi. Generally, it worked just fine, but would not allow emails from our cell phone; we had to use data minutes. 3. If the directions you receive say to come south on 224 from I-80 and turn right at Deer Valley Road, DON'T BELIEVE THEM. You must turn left at that intersection, then left again at the first street, then immediately left into the parking lot of the condo. Also, the directions we got said we would get a text the morning of our arrival giving the entry codes; this was confusing as we had already received the codes. In any case, there never was any text. 4. Some of the cooking stuff could have been improved. There were lots of pots but almost no lids and there were no dishes like Corningware for microwaving left overs. There was no microwave plate cover, but we left one behind. 5. Cleaning supplies were somewhat in short supply. There was no Soft Scrub, among other things, and we left a bottle behind. Suggestion: You might want to do what we did and buy a ROKU Express unit to take along. We enjoyed our stay in Park City and the condo, and you will too.

Place was neat, fantastic location. So cozy and quiet! Loved it and would highly recommend. Very close to walking trail downtown and grocery store nearby. Bed was so comfy and fireplace was awesome on a chilly night! Would stay again!
