The views of the ocean were spectacular. We have been going to this beach for 40 years and I’ve never seen aspects of the beach like we did during this trip. However, the unit is in an unacceptable level of disrepair. Cockroaches in the kitchen, no trash bags, neither shower work properly, shelves barely attached to the walls, etc. Having been a property owner of units at this beach, we understand that repairs are costly and the wear and tear of renters can be significant. Also, the building is old and bears the scars of surviving a number of storms. However, when I notified the property manager of the significant problems knowing that other renters were coming in behind us, and the Cain that maintenance issues were addressed promptly, the PM response was “we’ll we’ll get to it during the off-season.” I think this information should have been displayed on the website and that a discount should’ve been provided given can give the exceedingly poor condition of the unit. All that being said, the views were spectacular and at least they satisfied a significant element of our trip.

Wonderful place to stay with a couple of negative things. We weren’t able to enter upon arrival because there wasn’t a key for the door in the combo lock, only for the deadbolt. The AC didn’t cool very well. It froze up like it was low on Freon and we had to run just the fan for it to thaw and cool again. It still didn’t cool well with sun shining. 76* it was cloudy on our second day which was better. They have a storage locker with beach stuff which is great! Overall a nice place to stay and we had a great time.

Great Views and easy access to the beach. Property was well furnished and well stocked. Very clean and access to the property was seamless. You will enjoy this property.

This was our second visit to this property and what we love most is the natural white noise from the beach. Never slept so well. Also walking distance to several restaurants. Plan on returning sometime

Wonderful condo filled with all the amenities! The slider needs to be lubricated to make it easier to open and close. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable! The padlock to the storage unit for the beach equipment was all rusted out and wouldn’t open. It’s the beginning of the beach season and I would want to know if it was my place. We enjoyed our morning coffee every morning on the ocean view patio!

This condo not only had a great beach atmosphere inside, but the views from the balcony were amazing.

Built in 1986 and likely last updated in 1986. Extremely tiny kitchen, not 5 feet across even. Dirty shower curtains, windows/sills, peeling paint in places, zero hot water after 1.5 minutes in the shower no matter when. Musty smell consistently even if we opened doors. The views were spectacular. Sunrise was second to none and beach access so close. We just expected a touch nicer and updated place. Decor was top notch but doesn't mask the rest.

Million Dollar View! The balcony was lovely! Really good beds, nice sheets, kitchen well stocked.

The property location was awesome! The space in condo was great, views were perfect. The outside storage unit hard to locate and is dark, hard to see what is inside. We didn't get the bikes out because it was a chore to get to and I was concerned about the tires per previous reviews and didn't find a tire pump. Overall our experience was great and would not hesitate to stay here again! The king bed was very comfortable.

The location and view from this condo was amazing! The condo was clean upon arrival. The condo is so close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops! My only complaint would be that the beach chairs they provide were broken as well as one of the umbrellas. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely stay here again!

This property was exactly as described. Kitchen was stocked with necessary items and the decor was lovely. Best of all was the view and the sound of the ocean. Incredible!!

This condo had some pretty major plumbing issues upon arrival. However, the view was spectacular and it was so nice to be able to wake up to a beautiful (panoramic view from bedroom) sunrise and also we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. It was so close to the elevator and beach access, which we found to be a blessing. I would definitely stay here again as long as the plumbing issues are taken care of.

The moment we walked into the condo, the ocean view was directly in front of us. Beautiful! The sunrises were amazing. Well stocked kitchen. Easy access to the beach, liked the private setting.

It was odd to pay both cleaning and linen fees-and still have to make and strip the beds, etc. I’m new to Vrbo so perhaps that’s standard. Otherwise the unit was very nice and had an excellent view. The beach front deck was perfect.

The view was amazing! Furnishings were nice! The condo needs updated, both bathrooms had plumbing issues and were somewhat falling apart!

My husband and I were very happy, the condo is perfect and in the most perfect location, close to everthing you would need. Views breathtaking. Emerald Isle was so beautiful, looking forward to returning next year. Hoping to stay in the same condo, currently our dates not available, but will keep checking 😀

Excellent location. The unit was clean, right on the beach and had everything we needed.

We loved the property. Right on the beach, with easy access. Very close to restaurants and bars. Previous guests had left suggestions that were very helpful. Nothing bad to say. Hosts made the check in extremely easy. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

The property was very nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the views and sounds. There was an issue with water pressure in the spare bath. Also the bikes that were mentioned had 4 flat tires and couldn't find the pump, so we ended up renting them. All in all we would go back again, we would just bring our own bikes.

We truly enjoyed our stay! It was very clean, plenty of towels, easy access to the beach and swimming pool. The view from the balcony and main bedroom are absolutely breathtaking. All of the rooms have TVs with Roku. The decor was perfection for the location. We traveled with our elderly mother and we had handicap parking very close to the elevator. The elevator was also very close to our place. The only complaint would be the main bathroom did not work during our entire visit. We had no water pressure in the bathroom sink and toilet. The shower did not have cold water so it was difficult to use, also. We contacted property manager who informed us it was a building problem and they were taking care of it; it was never fixed.

Excellent communication with host. We had a very relaxed stay. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean.

Wow! That sums up the entire stay. Conveniently located, cleanliness is on point, spacious, balcony view is gorgeous. We could watch the sunrise from the balcony or the master bedroom, easy walk to the beach. Quick response from the property manager/owner(?) Only minor issue was the water pressure is very delicate but for the price and location trumps that minor detail. My kids and other half enjoyed every moment. We will be back and highly recommend!!!!!

The check in was super easy. The beach was beautiful, easy to access & not crowded at all! Parking was convenient as well & we walked to many of the local businesses. What a great vacation!!

The condo is in a perfect location! You have direct access to the beach and it’s only a short walk. The condo was clean and the patio is nice. The communication was great as well. The only thing that was a minor inconvenience is the master bedroom window. If you plan on sleeping in a bit, bring a black out blanket because the bedroom faces the sun and the room is bright around 6-6:30 am! It’s also nice having two bedrooms with two separate bathrooms. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a great getaway.

Affordable, clean, comfortable, and in good repair. Pleasant and relaxing decor. Owner was 100% accurate when describing the view. I loved going to sleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up to a perfect view of the surf. We even saw dolphins on our first day from our bedroom window. My only wish was that specialty shopping was more convenient (beachy and specialty shops more clumped together instead of spread out in various shopping centers), but the owner can't really do anything to affect that. What we needed, like groceries and beach supplies, was very close by. It was a lovely stay and we would definitely go back.
