The owner was very friendly,kind and helpful person. I felt it was very reasonable price for this location and great atmosphere. They gave me a free beach bicycle and using it was so much fun. Even they offer e-bike with reasonable price. It is electric so you needn’t thinking about extra cost for gasoline. Simple room but spacious and they offer you kettle and fridge.

Bathroom and water access are separated from your room. If someone is using bathroom and toilet, you have to wait.

lovely owner lives just around and are so nice. you can come with all questions around. also will take over the organization from ferry to here and back to the ferry - just came here and fell good. it’s just a short walk to beach, grocery and Restaurant. and if you don’t want to walk, take a bike or rent a electric Scooter 🛵 👍🏻

The location was excellent, very close to a nice public beach and walking distance to restaurants and a market. Free bikes were provided. The room was clean and the shared bathroom was always clean as well. There was warm water. Communication was quick, and they helped with booking a taxi from the airport/port. Unfortunately, payment is cash only.

You can walk easily 5”to main beautiful beach in Bora Bora. The owner has very nice scooter rentals & is very kind!😊I accidentally broke a mirror in scooter & she was very understanding & helped me to replace without being angry😊 safe clean & beautiful!🥰

Matira house 1 is a large rooms with a comfy bed and shared bathroom with shower. Everything is very well maintained. We were there in July (winter) and sleeping with open window was allright, but the host is working on rooms with ac, so eventually ask for it. You get to know the hosts lovely family and they help you with everything. So if you miss something (information, plates, whatever) just ask for it. The fridge in the room is working well, but there is no kitchen. Plenty of restaurants or snacks are nearby. Takeaway Pizza at Lucky House is a Bora Bora bargain and very tasty. You can also rent a canoe 50m from the location for 4 hours for 3000xps to paddle to motus. Motus are mostly private, so ask what is possible before you start. Water is shallow 90% of the way.

Beautiful place, perfect location, very close to Matira Beach. Nice and clean room, comfortable bed, and refrigerator. Very nice and helpful owner. We would definitely return.

Before arrival we did not receive instructions on where to go, so we were a little bit lost and if we did not have a local SIM card, we would not find the accommodation at all. The room does not have an outdoor seating area and it was quite hot in the room because it is under the roof. The transfer to Vaitape (7 km) was expensive. Just be aware – if you have a room with shared bathroom, it will be a tin shed. Everything is cramped and the toilet is not separated from the shower, so it is wet. If you need a toilet and someone is in the shower, which can take quite a long time, you just have to wait. Nothing terrible, but it's good to take note.

The guest house is located on a very quiet street with little traffic. A shop with items for breakfast and a few restaurants are within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Matera Beach is a 5-minute walk. Everything was clean in the shower flow was strong and hot. Mattress was comfortable. There is a fridge and water heater in the room for coffee in the morning, with a few plates and cups and cutlery. On the second floor with a nice view and plenty of natural lighting and breeze.

A cockroach greeted us but after that we didn't see any more bugs. There is no microwave for heating up leftovers. The lamp in the pictures is not in the room so the only light is the large overhead light which means you have to use your cell phone flashlight in the middle of the night. The shared bathroom is down a flight of stairs which is pretty dark so again bring a flashlight. They provide dishes but no way of washing them, no access to a kitchen for cleaning up.

The host was really nice. She arranged airport transfers for me, helped me drop my covid self-test in the medical centre, showed me around the island and arranged a logoon tour for me at a discounted price.
