We have been coming to Carillon for 4 years and this was our favorite stay in Carillon so far! The house and guest house were super clean and spacious. The proximity to the beach walk over was awesome. We were worried about having a pool at the house because we had several small children with us but the house has a pool alarm that sounds when the door is opened unless a button way up high is pressed so we did not have to worry about kids getting outside without us knowing. The property manager was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything. We hope to rent this house again!

The location is great. The pool house is new with new furnishings, TV, etc. The main house is nice but dated. The furniture is old, as well as the TVs. Kitchen very well equipped. Pool is small but nice. Way too many “pool rules”. One of the rules says “No breath holding” ??? The property manager is very intrusive and unprofessional. We were charged an extra $85 for cleaning (after already paying $650) due to the fact that I didn’t place all the towels in the laundry room. Beware, you are not allowed to open any exterior doors or windows, or you will be getting a phone call. Overall the house is decent, but I always felt like we were being watched and we definitely got scolded. I’m 45 and we paid a LOT of money. I don’t feel like we should have been made to feel like a bunch of teenagers on college break.

We stay in Carillon every spring and fall break- years now....we have rented many homes throughout the community. This house is spacious and was great for our three families and teens. Kitchen adequately equipped, plenty of beach towels. Overall this house checked all of the boxes we were looking for....rental company/agent were responsive and friendly and easy to work with. The only thing I could complain about is it needs some serious updating. It’s dark, traditional decor isnt very beachy and very dated. The bathrooms need to be renovated throughout the main house and the floors need updating. Bedding/throw pillows needs to be replaced.

This property has great stock of kitchen utensils. And as a bonus a great supply of beach towels which generally never part of a rental. Location is great! Easy walk to beach and lively new small pool. The new guest house is also well equipped. My only negative is the cleanliness of the house. Sand under carpets and visible dirt on cloth furniture. Walls needed painting also.

We LOVED our stay at the house and will definitely book it again! The private pool was on the smaller side, but we were so grateful to have it to ourselves and the kids didn’t even care that it’s more like a splash pool. The main house could use just a tad updating to make this a top of the line rental - a fresh coat of lighter-colored paint, more beach themed decor, etc. Having a bunch of beach towels was wonderful, the kitchen was large and the gas grill, green egg and fire pit were bonuses! The main house’s kitchen was very well stocked. The downstairs king bedroom does not have a private bath, but it didn’t bother us. The pool house is newer and decorated very nicely. The only thing missing in the pool house kitchen we’d like to have had was a toaster. Karen, the property manager, was amazingly kind and so helpful! She promptly responded to questions as we booked our visit and while we were there, and handled a couple minor issues during our stay immediately. One bed frame was broken but we were notified to treat it more gently, so that should already be fixed. The house location to the beach and restaurants in the neighborhood was A++! And it’s directly across the street from one of the neighborhood pools. The gated community feels super safe and the kids can ride bikes knowing there is less traffic. Only thing to add would be adding an ice maker. We went through a lot of it.

Enjoyed our visit to coast is clear. The mother-in-law suite was an amazing addition. We enjoyed the small pool. Plenty of room and steps away from the beach and the community pool. We love carillon Beach and will return!!!!

We will definitely be booking this house again ( if available) .. my only complaint is that the house wasn’t cleaned properly. I had to wipe cabinets off red drinks splattered all over them. Trash cabinet was very dirty and had left over trash. Windows behind couch had hairs/ gummy wrappers & fork?. Bunk beds had a hamburger wrapper underneath. And I vacuumed the house because it didn’t appear that it was vacuumed. Dryer was full of lint.

The location and the layout of the home is excellent! The only suggestion I would make is consider upgrading or checking the maintenance of the dishwasher and keurig. Overall A plus and we will stay here again!
