The house is very nice and right on the beach, but it has maintenance issues and is in the departing flight path for the commercial airliners taking off from San Diego. Airport. The door knob to the patio falls off every time you open or close the door, five of the windows won’t open, three of the window shades are broken, no cold water in one of the bathrooms, and they don’t supply enough towels for more than two days so if you plan to stay longer be ready to do laundry. As for the noise level, it’s nearly impossible to have a conversation between 6:30 am and 11:30 pm with people sitting inside or outside without taking a pause every few minutes to let the planes fly over. I was told they call it the “Mission Beach Pause”. So it’s a really great house that could be much better with some minor maintenance and an advisory about the noise.

The house is fabulous - the area is perfect. The fact each room has a bathroom really allows the guests to have some privacy. Hope I can stay again next year!

House was in a great location and everything was seamless. We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very well stocked with essentials and since we were all traveling from different places… that made it really easy for us to just arrive and enjoy!

This house is perfectly located on Mission beach, right on the sand, steps from the beach, and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the classic amusement park. The house is in top-notch condition with high-end everything. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We hope to return again soon!

We stay at a lot of vrbo properties and this is a beautiful beach front home. Location is ideal for surfing, beach and volleyball court access. Home is on South end of Mission Beach strand, away from the noise and congestion of Belmont Park. San Diego in August is warm and the AC was very nice and necessary. Outside patio was excellent and used everyday. thank you for the umbrellas. Fire pit and bbq were great. Top of the line appliances and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Even had storage containers for those who cook meals. Communication with property mgmt was great. My only request would be for beach towels to be provided, especially for guest who fly in from out of town. Other than that, I would love to visit again. It was one of the most relaxing family vacations we've had. Thank you Peter and crew for sharing your beautiful beach front home.

The house is huge for where it is. Three stories, four bedrooms, five bathrooms. The bottom floor has a) two deep/narrow garage bays, big enough to fit a full sized SUV b) kitchen and main living area including huge TV and a full bathroom c) back deck with table for 8 and sectional around a fire table. Two awnings help keep the sun off of you. The second floor has three bedrooms, each with their own full bath. There's also a medium sized deck with very comfortable chairs. The top floor has a master suite that covers the entire floor, huge closets and bathroom and bedroom. A final deck on this floor is smaller but big enough for chairs. On the downside, the blinds are all remote control electric opening and closing and 95% of them don't work. Luckily the primary first floor blinds are all manual, but the top floor had only one blind that actually worked. The step going down to the garage is tricky and just weird. It's almost a tripping hazard so do be careful. Several of the bathroom fixtures are loose and need attention, a shower hook in the master shower, most toilet paper holders wobble, etc. Very tiny things, but ubiquitous throughout the house. Full sized washer and dryer on the second floor is a huge benefit. For the price, the location and house size are amazing. The TVs can be a bit tricky to operate but are in every bedroom and the main living area so you're never without entertainment. The fire table was so comforting every night.

The house was absolutely beautiful and had so many amenities that made it worth the price. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is a definite plus when you go with friends I would like your own space. We would definitely return!

Property was as described, location was great and pictures are representative. Property manager was responsive to minor issue and item was fixed promptly. Would book again.

This house was perfect for our stay. It’s extremely spacious and very clean. The volleyball courts are close to the house and our children played daily. Overall, we really enjoyed everything about our stay.

The best family vaca! Perfect house with amazing views!!! One downfall, nonworking elevator!! My husband and I were on the top floor and my hip couldn’t take the stairs after day one.

Beautiful home, clean and location excellent. Beds very comfortable, 8 nozzle shower amazing! Our only issue was the elevator which was a biggie (several ADA) but it's not as if Peter wasn't 'Johnny on the spot' trying to get it working. Repairman was there when we arrived, and called out again during stay. Would work a few times then quit, but other than that, it was absolutely perfect. Mgmnt company also pleasant and responsive, even gave us new tradition coffee pot to use for heavy coffee users vs. the pod maker at home.. Everything worked great, cooked several times. Thank you Peter for sharing your home, we made some good memories.

6 adults stayed. Property is great size and location as on the beach but no boardwalk in front. The outside patio and balconies is where we spent most of our time and was comfy. The fire pit was a big hit. Beds were comfortable. We cooked and used the BBQ all worked well. We could not access the elevator as advertised which was disappointing as couple in our group have asthma and lots of stairs. I called the office 3 times and left messages but got no response. The house was pretty clean but some additional dusting wouldn't hurt. Would definitely come back again.

We rented this house for the second year for a mini “staycation”. It was perfect & since we had a small baby, it was great because the house is at the end of the boardwalk. COVID & all it was a nice break!

We did a 6 night staycation while our floors were being replaced in our home in San Diego. Could not have been better! Loved the house and location. Now we just have to figure out what renovations we can do next year so we can do this again! We will be back!!! Thanks for everything!

Much needed safe social distancing vacation Great location to accomplish. Beautiful sunsets, beach and plenty restaurants close enough for take out and outdoor dinning . Plenty of space and best of all 5 full restrooms/showers for all 8 of us ranging from 13 yrs of age to 50. Perfect house for beach vacation!! Fabiola was awesome and very helpful! Thank you and we shall see you again .

This place was perfect. Although it is a short walk to the beach, the fact that we rented the entire house was so much better than renting one room in one of the other places along the boardwalk. You can tell that the owners and/or managers have spent extra to give all of the nice finishing touches which make a rental house so much better. We highly recommend this place.

The house is very luxurious and well appointed, and we had a wonderful time with our family. It was frustrating not to be able to use the VRBO app to get information about checking in, and we were not happy with having to pick up the keys so far away from where the house was actually located. The property manager staff were very nice, however. The beach access was wonderful, but the house was not in the beach front area that has the most restaurants and access to food; it was right on the flight path from the San Diego airport, however, which made it quite noisy to sleep. The listing on VRBO should mention the fact that beach towels are not provided. We could easily have brought our own and did NOT want to have to purchase them from the property manager. Despite these small annoyances, the overall experience was great because San Diego is a lovely city and we were in a lovely part of the city.

We loved this house and the location! Was clean and had everything we needed. I gave a 4 for check in process because having to pick up the keys offsite was inconvenient.
