The location on the canal was our favorite feature by far. We rented kayaks and paddle boards, everyone loved it! The house had a bathroom for each of our families. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a great way to rinse off after the beach which is just a 5 min walk. The blinking light at the crossing was key. We bbq'd and enjoyed the view in the backyard. Everything was great. Our only suggestion would be to put mirrors in the bedrooms and maybe new shower heads in the indoor bathrooms. Other than those minor things everything was fantastic. Would recommend.

Our three generation family (11 people) had a great week at this beach house. With 6 bedrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone. The living area was large. There were enough chairs and a bench for the dining table, but it would have been tight for all of us to sit there. The kids liked eating together at the table outside under the screen porch so problem solved. It is an easy 5 min walk to the beach and there is a crosswalk at the corner. We appreciated the beach chairs and cool cabana available for our use as well as the provided sheets. Really freed up limited trunk space for all of us. There were bikes in the garage, but no helmets, so you’d need to bring yours. We were very excited to find a second refrigerator in the garage to store extra drinks, milk , etc which lessened runs to the grocery store during the week. The communication with Kristin was excellent and thorough. She always responded quickly, gave us plenty of information beforehand and answered questions during the week. The house was great and we would recommend it for your stay

House was great and owner was very responsive. A few minor issues addressed in previous reviews but didn’t really detract from our enjoyment of the house.

The house is beautiful, very spacious, well located and despite the issues mentioned below we enjoyed the weekend. Living room and dining room area were not clean. Dishes were still in the dishwasher. Top of the Range was dirty. Couple of pots and microwave cover were dirty. Screen in the first level porch was broken. Master bathroom sink was clogged. Door to the deck of the upstairs was wide open and the screen was broken. Soap dispensers in two of the bathrooms were broken. There was an old cooked cheeseburger on the grill.

Our extended family had a great week stay at this house in South Bethany. Location can’t be beat - house is in a quiet neighborhood on the canal and walking distance to the beach. Amenities were as advertised and better than most rentals we’ve stayed in. The bed/room layout was great for our group - two families with young children + grandparents. Outdoor shower is a must have at the beach! Owners were responsive to all communications and made our visit simple and stress free.

We had an amazing time at the house. 6 bedrooms easily accommodated our family. We had everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation. The house is clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable.

Had an excellent and relaxing stay with my wife and 3 kids here. We enjoyed some lovely day outings including to the low-key neighborhood beach just a few block away, Bethany Beach and it's nice boardwalk (just a 5 minute drive away), and Assateague Park (45 minutes away) for some nice treks and to see the wild horses! The home is cozy and private, set up with everything you need for some relaxing hang-time during the day. At the end of the day you can enjoy a lovely view of the sunset looking over the peaceful canal which runs right behind the back of the property. It was also very nice that there were beach items available for use (cart, umbrella, etc.). We enjoyed several nice take-out options nearby, including sushi and crabs. Definitely recommend!

We were looking for a good location for a weekend getaway before the holidays, and this couldn't have been better. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms and a spacious layout, it was ideal for two families with 4 kids under 5. On a quiet street just off Coastal Highway, ten minutes from Ocean City, twenty from the Rehoboth Outlets, the house really is in an adventagous spot. This is our second time staying here, and likely won't be our last.
