the staff were really wonderful. So caring, personable and really looked after us. The Breakfasts were delicious and the hotel was so relaxing. Everything was magical.

Casa Terra offers a serene place to heal and to reconnect to nature and oneself. The facilities, the garden (!), the water spots (the magical pond!), the delicious healthy breakfast, the tranquil atmosphere and the people behind it - are beautiful and inspiring. Here everything seems to be in tune with the nature around and within the property. I rarely want to go somewhere I have already been, but here I truly hope to come back. In case you are hesitant because of the price (I was) - go. You will be happy you did. Thank you to Ana, Maja, Sabine, Fred and the rest of the team!
Learning: next time I would rent a car to go around. And I would stay longer :)

I never thought I would give any accomodation such a review, but in this case we have to say that it was just simply perfect!
We really enjoyed everything, from the very warm welcome, the personal touch, the pieceful location, the modern rooms with special attention to all the little details, the incredible homemade breakfast always served according to personal preferences...
Sabine and her team made us always feel welcome, gave us so many great recommendations, helped us with bookings etc - Thank you so much!

But it's definetely recommended to have an own car, since the accomodation is in the nature ca 7 km away from Tavira without any busses around and also hard to catch a taxi (or sometimes with long waiting times).

if you want to escape the masses in the typical beach resorts this is the place for you. A permaculture farm where the staff is very friendly and there to satisfy your needs. I really recommend this cute boutique hotel for a different kind of experience in Algarve. You won’t regret it - very peaceful and relaxing :)

I totally recommend staying at this property - we felt so rested and relaxed after the 5 days we spent here, the staff are really attentive, and the atmosphere very relaxed and the breakfasts are amazing. You will not be disappointed if you book this accommodation.

This is a lovely place for anyone seeking to reconnect with themselves and nature. The house and its garden are beautiful, and Sabine and Maurice (the owner) have a real gift in making people feel at home. They accommodated us with vegan options for every meal (all of them very tasty), which was a real lifesaver. Location is great, some 10 min. by car from Tavira. We cannot wait to return.
Nothing really worth mentioning here. This is not a negative, on the contrary, but you should know that this is an ecological hotel, and there are things expected of you in terms of behaviour (wash off sunscreen before going in the pond or pool, etc.).

We loved Casa Terra itself; it's a charming, idyllic villa that manages to feel secluded and open at the same time, an oasis of tranquillity in an impressively landscaped estate. The natural, organic, home-grown and home-made breakfasts were delicious. A big thank you to Ana, Vera, Fred and Sabine for their sincere hospitality and for making us feel truly 'at home' there.
We honestly can't think of anything that we didn't like. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Terra and we're looking forward to going back again soon.

Our stay was magnificent, the place is beautiful and designed with immense love and sense of place. The breakfast was amazing, always different, always delicious and made with the best ingredients.

We had a great stay at Casa Terra.
Sabine is probably one of the most hospitable persons on the planet: When we arrived, she served us cake and then gave us a tour through the vast garden of the property. During our stay she was always reachable and full of good tipps of places to go or restaurants to visit.
The delicious breakfast is a welcome departure from the standard continental fare as for us it consisted of fruit salats, bowls, homemade pancakes or bread and tea from herbs plucked in the own garden.
