Fabulous cottage on the site. Really felt that we were in the relaxed area we wanted. Shops and bars in walking distance. Bird life in the resort was incredible.

The unit had been renovated and had a great feel to it, with good kitchen, dining, and lounge facilities. The outdoor tables on the verandah were nicely positioned, with a distant water view over the extensive, rambling lawns. Bedrooms and bathrooms were modern and well presented with sleeping capacilty for a platoon of kids (albeit NA in our case). The pub and (limited) shopping is within pleasant walking distance for most people. Book if you wish to eat the pub. We stayed at the property several years ago and were happy to return.

Great accommodation in a beautiful tranquil location. We felt very relaxed after staying here and will definitely be back! Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Good location to do a bit of fishing and had an amazing massage from Heather at Bodiwise right next door..

Beautiful grounds, very clean, modern stylishly fitted out cottage. We stayed in cottage No 6.

Description said cottage (No 6) is on ground level, but there’s a set of stairs (4 or 5) from carport down to entrance door, also description doesn’t mention that there’s a lower level with another bedroom & en-suite so don’t know if that level is available to book with Cottage 6 or not. Upper level has 2 balcony doors (one from lounge area and one from second bedroom). Not very safe for children (or even adults in my opinion) as there’s a steep set of stairs on the balcony to ground level and handrail only starts part way down the stairs with only top edge of glass balustrade around the top section to hold onto for the first few steps. Balcony door from lounge can hit (& potentially break) the window glass as there’s no door stopper or latch to hold it away from glass (staff are aware of this issue apparently). Range-hood above stove wasn’t working. Window screens have gaps around the edges so big insects and a spider (Huntsman) entered room I was sleeping in. Single bed I slept in (second bedroom) was narrow so more suited to children than adults. The bathroom is nice with good shower & includes a washer & dryer. Toilet is inside bathroom but behind a separate door, but can’t use toilet if someone is showering unless they don’t need privacy.
