Don't make the same mistake we did, in overfilling our days! Our only regret from the trip is that we didn't spend enough time together at the cabin!

My son had is high school fishing tournament at this lake and this house and location were perfect.

All in all wonderful stay. 1 or 2 snags but nothing that the property Mgr Sabrina did not get right on. Thank you Sabrina.
Nothing stopped the gorgeous sunrise views, catching fish and cozy homey feel to Casita. Great weekend.

This was a great trip. The Casita was very clean and had everything we could want. There was even a nice selection of spices in the kitchen along with pots pans and everything else you for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. Make sure you bring some fishing poles and folding chairs the dock is great to fish off.

Loved everything about it! Very peaceful place, Very clean, we really had a wonderful time, my family loves fishing and I loved to relax, and this house was the perfect place to do that! Sabrina was very helpful during our stay , we really appreciated her. We will definitely be staying again.

My Husband and I came for Super bowl/Valentine's weekend. Great duck off for private escape for a lo-key couple. Enjoyed every bit of it! Property is immaculately keep. Fully stocked with necessities. My husband threw a few lines (fishing). We BBQ some steaks. Walked the grounds. Beautiful sunrise and set! Really enjoyed this trip. Grocery and shops to town are not to far from the house. Nice

Wonderful location in and out, the property has nice touches and the lake views inside and out are beautiful! The bathroom shower was spacious and the hooks for towels and deep drawers were added bonuses, beds were comfy and loved the solid bright and cheery colors. The home was very clean,we were very happy!

The Casita is very well maintained and the property is wonderful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our time! Lori was fast at responding too. The kitchen was well maintained except we had to use a cast-iron skillet to cook most of our meals. We think it is because a frying pan had been brought down to the main house. We read prior that it can sometimes happen if both the casita and main house are being used by the same group. Otherwise, it was the perfect getaway we were looking for! Highly recommend to stay if you can :)

Fantastic Birthday Week Retreat
The Casita is very well maintained and the property is wonderful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our time! Lori was fast at responding too. We had a great time. The property and apartment were beautiful. I will definately reccomend. Need to state in description that rate is based on 2 people though.

We enjoyed our time at La Casita. It is a separate unit from the main house, located above the carport. We enjoyed the separate entrance and private patio looking toward the lake. The king size bed was very comfortable. A second bedroom has adorable twin beds which would be great for a small family. A charcoal grill is available as well as basic cooking equipment. Bring your own games as some of the amenities listed are actually part of the main house. We thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to come back.

NICE PLACE !!
Very clean place to stay and close to Lake Tawakoni State Park if you are bringing a boat for fishing. Friendly and quiet neighbors.

Peaceful Weekend on the Lake
There's two units on the property; we stayed above the car port. Our neighbors were great; they encouraged us to use the kayaks - which were so much fun on the water! The porch had great sun and was very private. We ran into the Dollar General in town to grab charcoal and I pulled the grill out to the lawn to cook kabobs. Beautiful space for a wonderful weekend getaway.

Perfect for our weekend getaway! Just as described! Super cute! Only 2 things I would suggest would be to put some benches on the dock for seating or let people know they need to bring their own chairs And, we were there on a colder weekend and it was hard to heat the place and there were no extra blankets. At night it was kinda cold and there were no extra blankets and the ones on the bed were thin...so you may wanna bring some extras. Past those two things, our stay was great and just what we needed!

Great place, great views, very comfortable beds, everything you need just bring food. Says gas grill on description only charcoal grill.

The view of the lake was great, it was the highlight of the trip. Lake Tawakoni state park was a short drive away, great for hiking. However, the house needed a deep cleaning! In addition the fishing pier was missing multiple planks , it was difficult and dangerous to cross with a toddler. Overall, it was a good experience however a little TLC would make it great.
