The property itself was one of the best rentals we’ve had in past years. Very clean and well-maintained. The only downfall was the listing in pictures lead you to believe there may be a little more room between housing. Because the housing is so close. some rentals are often louder or rowdier than others. Thank goodness there was only one and it was tolerable. We do realize that’s not the fault of the property owners that we rented from.

We had 16 people (kids and adults) with us on this trip. The home was clean and well maintained. The host was responsive as well regarding broken items from the previous stay and changing the heating temperature on the pool for us midway through our stay.Would definitely stay here again. We had a blast!

Beautiful home, great location, layout of home was perfect for the three different families who stayed together.. each family had their own floor. Elevator was difficult to use, but would definitely stay there again!! Management staff very accommodating!

We had an amazing stay at the property. The walk to the beach was super easy, even for our little ones under 5 and great grandma who’s over 80! The pool is a nice size that allowed all the kids to play and swim. The property manager was super responsive. The location is convenient to dining, grocery stores, and entertainment.

We did not like how busy the beach was, and the people who put out the rental chairs and umbrellas always took the prime locations so we had to hike our stuff a bit further up the beach which was not ideal.

We had 12 in our group, 6 adults and 6 kids, ages 5-15. The house had plenty of space for our group and in addition to being very clean, it is updated and the location is great! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and it’s close to stores and restaurants too.
Communication with the owner was easy, they reached out to us a couple of times during the week via text just to check how things were going and any questions we had were responded to promptly.
Overall we had a wonderful week in Corolla and enjoyed our stay at Salt Shaker!

Great for big families
Beautiful house! We had multiple families with lots of little kids and this was perfect. The beach was very close and the kids loved the heated pool. The house was very clean and well maintained.

Awesome Property!
Had a wonderful week with my extended family at this property. House is exactly as described and was very clean. Although we didn't have any problems, Mgmt company did a great job "checking in" every couple of days via text to see if there was anything we needed. A very short walk to a beautiful beach, however, we used the pool quiet extensively. Close to everything. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Corolla.

A luxury home by the beach
The property was everything we expected and more! It was clean, comfortable and had a great location. There was plenty of space for our group of 13. We were near the beach--I am disabled but we were still comfortably close. We loved the pool and hot tub--it was great when the little kids still wanted to swim and we needed to prepare dinner. When we return to the Outer Banks, we will definitely consider this property!

Would stay again.
Everything was exactly how it was listed. Plenty of room for our 6 kids, spouses and 3 grands! Rebecca was quick to contact me when our laundry was stuck in the washer(our fault). There was plenty of dishes, pans, storage containers and utensils. Only complaint was the second floor was uncomfortable with the air. Kids were struggling to sleep with the warmth. I'm sure this is an easy fix. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend to others to stay here! Thank you Rebecca!

Great Property & Location
We had an awesome stay. The house was a nice size, quiet between floors, has an awesome pool and a short walk to the beach. It was also a nice location between Duck and the main part of Corolla. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming.

Loved it!
We had a wonderful stay during our spring break! The house was absolutely perfect! Super clean! It had everything we needed. We ate mostly at home and it was equipped with everything that u would need. The heated pool was great in of itself! The kids loved it! Short couple minute walk to the beach which was very nice. Property manager was super responsive to any questions that we had. We would love to come back!

Great Space and very updated
Nice to have a place with so much space that feels homey still. Well maintained and the pool and hot tub were great. Had all the pans and dishes needed but make sure to bring any spices you need.

The home was beautiful, extremely clean, with a stocked kitchen - plenty of cookware, dishes and silverware. The heated pool and hot tub were a life saver, as the weather wasnt ideal (mid March). We did however, make it to the beach one day, which was a very short walk away. All the tvs were smart tvs, so very easy access to our streaming services. Rebecca, our host, was very responsive any time i had a question about the area or the property. We very much enjoyed our visit to the area, and the house - and hope to return this summer!

Beautiful home close to the beach!
We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful beach house. It’s close to the beach! The kids enjoyed the heated pool while the adult enjoyed the hot tub jacuzzi. The home is beautiful and very spacious! Rebecca was so nice to book with and text to check on us. She was very responsive and helpful! Hope to return when it’s a little warmer! We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Modern Beautiful Home
We loved our stay at this home. It’s hard to find modern homes in outer banks. This home was incredibly beautiful, super clean, well equipped. They offer a heated pool all year long which was definitely hard to find, tv in the outdoor pool area. If you’re looking for a beautiful home that’s luxurious look no further!

The house was set up perfectly for our group. It really is a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. Manager was very responsive and friendly. Neighborhood was secluded but located in the middle of two shopping areas so everything was easy to get too.

Fun for everyone!
Clean, new home only a block away from the beach. We really enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub and smart TVs. My kids loved the downstairs bunk beds. Would highly recommend.

So if you want privacy at the pool you will not get it in this neighborhood. Also it seems to be custom throughout the area that there are no blinds in the windows of the kitchen / main living area.

Everything you could ask for!
Beautiful, new house with everything we were looking for. Agent was super-responsive to questions after arrival, and flexible with uncertainties about visitors in the Outer Banks early in the season. House has plenty of room to spread out. Very well-equipped, and the beach is a short walk away. Enjoyed the pool, grill, outdoor foosball table, and hot tub daily. Only suggestion would be a small fridge on the pool level. Highest recommendation!

Perfect for our family!
We had a great time here. We had an extended family group of 8 adults and 6 kids. There was plenty of room for all of us, with indoor and outdoor space to spread out. We all loved the pool, hot tub, and quick walk to the beach. The house is new and very clean, and we felt very comfortable. Rebecca was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had while planning our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Vacation Spot
Took our adult children and two grandchildren ages 1 and 3 to this home and had an amazing week. The house is absolutely beautiful, well equipped and perfect for a large group. The decks on all levels make for nice privacy, the backyard is perfect for corn hole (which we brought from home) and the pool is awesome. Easy walk to the beach. If you have kids, take a walk to the pond and feed the turtles. Such a great experience.

We had a great experience staying in this fabulous home. The beds were comfortable which always makes for a nice stay. We had plenty of room to spread out. The location to the beach is great. The area around the home is really nice too.

Loved this house!
This house is new, clean, organized, fully stocked and so much fun! We loved having the pool heated, the hot tub, and the foosball table! The beach is close and gorgeous. Would love to come back soon!

Must stay!!
This property is beautiful! It was extremely clean and modern, yet cozy! Bath towels and linens were provided, which was very convenient and the beds were comfy! The heated pool and hot tub were awesome. The property manager, Rebecca, is extremely communicative and easy to reach, even at odd hours. The beach was just around the corner, and we could see it easily from our balcony. If I’m ever back in Corolla, I will definitely stay here again! 10/10 recommend!!!
