A great place to stay as a family of 4 with a dog. The layout provides plenty of space to spread out after a long day exploring the local trails and eateries. One evening we had 2 moose walk through the front yard and the following evening we saw a momma bear and her cub. Close to town and you can access the Blue River trail from the neighborhood. Access to the garage to store bikes was a bonus.

Located 5-6 miles from Breckenridge in a wooded community. Easy commute and nice to get away from crowds in Breckenridge. Property was as advertised and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook.

Very easy to communicate w/manager and check in. The house is great for families (bunk room and another TV area in basement), well equipped kitchen, internet worked well even in the snowstorm and everything was clean. Plenty of everything: linens, pillows, spices in the kitchen, games, etc. missing a hot hub that’s it!

Had a great time over there during Christmas. Quite close to the Breckenridge city center (about 10 minutes), and was great being able to have that extra room. They were great with us bringing our mini Aussie, and he loved his time there too!

This house is great! It's a good layout with lots of space and comfortable bedrooms. We had four people here for Thanksgiving, and the kitchen had everything we could need for cooking. It's also a convenient drive into Breck but a nice separation for a cozy cabin feel. Our only complaint was the wifi and TV, which only worked about 20% of the time. We read and did a lot of puzzles, but just a heads up if you planned to work remote while staying here, this wouldn't be the best option.

This home is perfectly fine and in a nice small neighborhood just outside of breckenridge. The home had not been cleaned nor was ready for us at the agreed upon time of arrival. Communication with the property company was very difficult. The home advertises cable/internet/satellite which did not work more than 90% of the time we were there. I was told to “adjust my expectations” as xfinity had done all they could do. Our phone service is with verizon which did not work in this area either. No solution was ever offered and numberous calls, emails and texts were never answered in a timely fashion. We had booked a 3 week stay and left 5 days early, and still have never heard from summit mountain rentals. Very disappointing as our experience with vrbo up until now has been wonderful. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this property.

Blue River is within close proximity to Breckenridge - so, don't be afraid to stay outside the Breckenridge limits. The house itself was excellent. Layout and living areas were perfect for our girl's weekend.
We would have given it 5 stars, but the housekeeping staff had just moisturized the wood with Murphy's Oil Soap and it was EVERYWHERE. The oil and film from the oil was all over the bedding and any wood surface. It got all over our skin and clothes while we were opening cabinets and sitting at the dining room table before we figured out what was going on. Even after we attempted to clean it off with paper towels etc - it remained.
We spoke with the property manager and they were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do at that point - it just needed to soak into the wood surface.
Had that not occurred, this would have been a flawless stay.

Great time.. living room gathering area is the highlight, mountain style decor. Two separate stairways to bedrooms .. very cool wide and not steep one for master and one for kids bunk bed(s) room. Master upstairs has bath just outside room. Main floor queen off dining area.
Both baths good size with dated glass showers, no bathtub just of note. Main living room/kitchen/dining and entry very cool feel.. like cabin/lodge.. best feature!!!Kitchen was well appointed. Pans could use updating although good original quality. Areas of improvement: replace old garbage disposal… it’s time..install ice maker or more trays, provide spare lightbulbs for back porch.. motion detector fixture. Property was more interesting than photos.. twin bed/ great window reading area in Master was a cool feature with lights and owner personality throughout including books upstairs. Suggestions also include key to property rather than just garage(code entry on front door is the norm) Garage is one car so tight coming in “just” that way, foyer nice. Things to know: property is in area in neighborhood in tge woods, property on the left under upgrade construction although no noises a little unsightly off back porch... View when on walks through neighborhood not directly from property if looking for that. Basement is basically unfinished but has coach and tv for teens to escape (only use).. and washer/ dryer which was nice to have. .Great relaxing stay and 10 minute drive to town in Summer. We’ve stayed in this area before, nice walk around neighborhood in morning or evenings, friendly locals. Great price/value in my mind in Summer. Property owners should replace kitchen rugs it’s time and update bath rugs (my must have). I’d install a shelf or cabinet in Master for more places to put our things and an added towel rack. We loved our stay at the unique and dramatic home. It offers each inhabitant privacy due to floor plan layout. No key was available and access was via garage door key pad which was fine but it would have been nice to at least have a garage door opener. But that was the only negative. The internet functioned properly, cable Tv was perfect. I have fond memories of this home and would stay there again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at Spring Haven. Be prepared to disconnect while staying here. The internet did not work, no cell service, and the cable was spotty (using only had 1 channel).
The house is spacious and great. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of games provided for kids to play! A great set up for 2 families, especially with it being close to Breckenridge.
It does have a basement but only 1 couch and TV that did not work (since the internet did not work). So the space was not practical.
Be prepared to bring your own shampoo/conditioner. Only small travel sizes were provided and if you need more it is a charge for the company to come out. The pressure in both showers is horrible, along with the temperature control.

Loved this awesome cabin
Great place with a large gathering area for everyone to be together. Lots of games to play, which we did every night. The area was close to town and we did discover there was a walking trail close that would take you into Breckinridge, from one of the neighbors. There was a lot to do in the summer and we will definitely plan a future trip.

Really loved how close we were to downtown Breck. The house Is located in a very quiet & peaceful neighborhood. Great layout for our family.
The only downside was we couldn’t get any of the windows in the main living room area to open & it became very warm at night (no A/C).

Great Mountain Getaway
We had a lovely experience and stay at this home! It was a beautiful home that has plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids, and a big dog with room to spare. The kitchen and grill were well equipped and allowed us to cook some great meals regularly. The neighborhood was wonderful - just far enough from town and enough seclusion for our getaway. It’s a nice neighborhood to walk around for fresh air as well. Check in process is a bit archaic (having to go into an office upon arrival and departure), but it comes with its perks and they were incredibly courteous. It was a smooth process, just not as convenient as rolling up to the place. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again!

Comfortable house
This house was very comfortable for my wife and I to take our dogs for a getaway. We got beautiful snow and the roads in the neighborhood were maintained nicely making for a very enjoyable and worry free stay. Close enough to breckenridge to go out to dinner / happy hour and far enough away to be able to relax away from the busy areas.

Mountain Getaway w/small suggestions
I wouldn’t say this property is ideal for families with small kiddos. Bedrooms are all disjointed with the bunkbeds upstairs & there aren’t any bathtubs. While the main areas were clean all of the “unused” areas were very dirty (cobwebs in the lights, dust covering the bathroom corners). Weirdly the internet turned off at 7:30/8:00 each night making us unable to use the TV or baby monitor.
The property was well equipped with all the necessities which was great, especially the kitchen and common areas were cleaned. We loved that our dog was able to come and the neighbor was fantastic (we saw Moose!).

This is a really beautiful home. It's in a quiet neighborhood, felt safe, and was an easy drive to Breck. Wildflowers all around. Everything was very clean and the property management company was kind and helpful(their office is easy to get to as well). Kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The lighting downstairs is a bit dimmer but there are several light sources and it was enough for us. It's very spacious but still feels cozy. In case it is helpful for someone, I have bad MCS(travel with my own air purifier kind of bad) and I didn't have any issues being in this home for a few days. It smells amazing outside as it's surrounded by pines and the little deck is great for some tea or coffee and reading a book. If you get a clear night go out front and look up at the sky. It's a bit of magic to have the constellations feel so close. We packed some games to take with us since we weren't going too far from home. I would definitely recommend the house and would love to go back. If you book, I hope your stay is sweet.
