Willkommen im D'Carpio Lakeside Retreat. Unser frisch eingerichtetes und modernes Chalet auf zwei Ebenen ist der perfekte Ort, um zu entkommen und Big Bear und die Berge zu genießen. Sie befinden sich in Boulder Bay und nur 5 Minuten von der Stadt entfernt, wo Sie einen schönen Urlaub verbringen können Abendessen, oder schauen Sie sich einen Film an und gehen Sie einkaufen! Wenn Sie diese Wohnung betreten, werden Sie in dem schönen Wohnzimmer mit schönen Holzböden, modernen Sofas und Sitzstühlen und einem eingebauten Flachbildfernseher über dem gemütlichen Gaskamin begrüßt. Hier können Sie die schöne Aussicht genießen, die dieses Haus bietet von den Glastüren und Deck zu bieten. Komplett mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten für Ihre Gruppe, einschließlich eines voll ausgestatteten Esstisches, Sitzgelegenheiten an der Theke, grundlegenden Geräten und Utensilien sowie einem Geschirrspüler. Loved our stay at Knotty Pine - Big Bear Lake Retreat! We made a last minute decision to come to CA so my dad could visit with his sister, who was ill. The condo was perfect for the 3 of us--my parents took the main bedroom/bath upstairs and I stayed in the bedroom with the adjoining bathroom on the main floor. The check in process was very easy and we loved the gift of the spices--one less thing to buy when traveling cross-country! We did run into some small issues (the dining room fan was not cleaned in some time, although I don't think anyone stayed there for months; the pool key was missing from the lock box; & the upstairs shower handle fell off) but I must commend the staff at Big Bear Vacations--all issues were addressed quickly and efficiently and we had barely any down time because of them (we did allow the cleaners and plumber to come into our unit while we were not there since we were more than an hour away). I really appreciated that the head of maintenance called my cell phone to give me updates about the shower issue & said if we ran into any additional issues with the shower, I could call him directly. The unit was as described and the perfect fit for the three of us!

So this was agreat option for a group of 6 adults. I loved that this condo offered 3 bedrooms with bigger bed sizes, rather than a bunch of bunk beds, single beds, etc.
The condo was cozy, but spacious. They provided some toiletries and most of the basics that you will need for cooking. I would say that the couches need to be replaced as they are engaging and look pretty worn. The housekeeping could also be better; we had to wash all the pots/pans befire using because they were sticky or not properly cleaned. There were cobwebs ans some areas that needed attention, but nothing terrible.
Overall a comfortable stay at a great location!

Wonderful
My family had a wonderful time. We especially loved that the condo was well equipped and comfortable. It was much prettier than the actual photos. We can't wait until next time.

The house was very clean.
When we first arrived we were very impressed with how clean the property was. The water was lukewarm so you have to turn up the water heater. Also we couldn’t find the cushions for outdoor furniture until the day before we left. They were under the downstairs bedroom bed. It would be good if notes were left by the owner so the renter would know to turn up the hot water right away and also so they could find the cushions. Also - there was no bakeware all. We could not cook a casserole or a bake a cake. And there is a pool but No key to open the gate. If there is a key in this house the owner should let the renter know where it is. Also - the cable tv doesn’t work. A guide comes up but when you try to tune to something the screen is black.
All in all we had a great time and it’s a great house. Just wanted to let the owner know a few things that will make it even better.

The property was nice. At first glance, the place looked clean but as we started to unpack and live there, we could tell that cleaning was done quickly and sloppy. Some parts of the kitchen floor were sticky and the towels smelled musty. It would be nice if when checking in, the staff gave us an overview of areas we can walk and enjoy that are part of the property. Instead, I was told, rudely, wait for their text to have access to property. I even asked what was the general location of the property, so we could stay in immediate area and I was just told to wait for text. I took my 4 year old and he was tired of being in the car. Not a good start to our vacation.
