The condo was so clean and a great space for us. The view was beautiful and we will be back!

Really nice one bedroom condo with a sleeper sofa. Really clean newly updated. Sits right next to the pool and hot tub. Overlooks the valley with a really nice view. Steep incline to get up to it might be an issue during the winter weather I don't know it's summer when we came and everything's beautiful

The location and condo were wonderful. It was perfect for seeing the sights but relaxing in peace and we loved the hot tub was right next to our room. The only hiccup was checking in, we hadn’t heard how to do it and I had to reach out to the owner, but I had seen in other posts that was possible so I wasn’t as worried. He replied quickly and was great to work with. We would definitely stay again and I’ve told many friends about the place.

We came to snowboard at Terry Peak. Staying here worked out perfect for us.

The condo was very nice and clean, bed was awesome. The only issue was the hot tub, which was right next to us, was being cleaned at 6:30 am. Very noisy. Other than that it was great. We would stay there again.

The property was excellent, but what worried me I didn’t get an answer from Nolan until 5 pm , he said his computer was down, that happens but there was no phone number to call. Nolan said he sent me a message but I didn’t get it until after he finally called me which was after 5. I have made reservations in the past and talked directly with the owner , better piece of mind no middle person, never will I go through a app like yours again.

This property was a great price for the amount of space provided as well as the amenities available. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while on our 3000mile motorcycle trip and the king size bed and hot tub were amazing. The access to Lead and Deadwood was a great short ride down the mountain and it was so nice and quiet with beautiful views.

This property was well maintained and had lovely views! The unit was nice and spacious for our family. We didn't get a chance to use the pool/hot tub, but they were a nice optional rain day activity! Loved having our own deck space to enjoy the view. We were not there for long periods of time for our stay..there may not have been a LOT of activities for real littles (we had our 3 year old with us), but for the trip we had, this was a perfect set up for us!

Property itself needs a lot of maintenance, feels shabby and old. Our unit was adequate, had a decent kitchen and supplies but no character or feeling of warmth. The dishes and utensils were all dirty, crusted with food that probably was not rinsed properly before going into the dishwasher and was put away dirty. We washed everything before we used it. The windows and decks were filthy, bbq dirty (we cleaned it before using it). The bed was horrible, a divot deep enough for prairie dogs on the closet side of bed. the man and woman at the reception desk were less than “receptive” or nice, acted as if you were disturbing them as they would not even make eye contact or welcome you upon entry. Any questions posed to them were answered with antagonist replies….we had crushed soaps, and asked for a replacement and were asked what we did to them…their room maintenance provided this to us…anyway, do not recommend this property and suggest that it be updated and painted and cleaned. It is a great location close to ski area across the street and out of town of Lead and nice and cool. It should be mentioned that the “hot tubs” are not warm and the cheap above ground fiberglass type. The pool looked nice and the fitness room was good and laundry room clean and good. the property just has that feeling that it is on its last legs and needs a lot of work and definitely not worth the price we paid, even with Sturgis in session.

The property was just as advertised. The view from the deck was simply breathtaking. The king size bed was comfortable and the bedroom was quiet and dark, perfect for sleeping. The scenic overlook was a great way to end each day with the cool breeze the the wildlife. Thank you-hope to return soon!

we booked this condo with the fact that we could sleep 4 people. there we no way anyone could possibly sleep on the fold out couch. we had to go purchase a blow up mattress and inflator because the mattress on the pull out consisted of a spring with a piece of material over it. the office was of no assist when we talked to them about it. very dissappointed in how the office handled this would not recommend for 4 people. office should have at least reimbursed us for our purchase. if we wanted to camp we would have brought a tent. 60 year olds are not terribley comfy on a blow up mattress for 5 nights

Great location, full unit, kitchen and amenities. Great hot tub and pool. We had a blast.

Great location! It is about a 45 minute drive to monuments but a nice quiet place to go to after a day in the thick of the tourist areas. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. It is in a high elevation . Beautiful views from this high elevation!

Nice place, clean!

First, IT WAS SO CLEAN! Whoever cleans the condos needs to travel across the state and clean my house, please! Second, such a quiet oasis with a great sunrise/Terry Peak view. Third, spacious. So nice to have space to roam as if in a cabin but at a hotel price. WIN. Fourth, easy walk to go skiing. Was so nice to walk back at lunch time and eat chili from the crock pot and not have to fight for a parking spot at the ski lodge. Last but not least, the staff members were genuinely kind, informative, and accommodating. First time I’ve stayed here and I’m shaking my head that I’ve never given it a chance in all the times I’ve gone skiing there. Only thing that wasn’t fun was our van not making it up either of the snowy driveways.

This place was large, had a nice view, and all the basics. It is a little over 3 miles off the main road but a great place to stay. Next to a gold mine which is cool to look at.

This unit worked well for our needs. Close to Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. A little farther away from Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Unit was clean and well kept with necessities for cooking. Only complaint was the outdoor furniture - 2 cheap plastic chairs and a table. Not enough for a family to eat outside. And furniture was covered in tree pollen when we arrived and had to be cleaned off before use. Otherwise, we had a great trip!

Our weekend stay at Barefoot Resort, was absolutely wonderful. It had such a beautiful setting, we loved enjoying time sitting on the patio viewing the beautiful view. We will for sure be returning on our next visit to the area this fall. I am so glad I searched Vrbo website after looking at others to find a place to stay. Sheri VanOverschelde
