The home has an amazing view in a quiet community with friendly neighbors. The proximity to 10 mile beach is wonderful. The living room is spacious and comfortable, and the two primary bedrooms are a wonderful size. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this home.

We love staying in this area. This listing is a little out of date with their pictures and there are two king beds and a queen. The queen room is not a bedroom and could use a closet-type piece of furniture. The beds are comfortable and the sound of the ocean as you sleep is amazing.

Great views of the ocean from the living room, the dining room and the master bedroom. Only a short walk to the concrete pathway and stairs which lead to the beach.

Wonderful house to stay in. Comfort cozy and relaxing. Has great views, 2 master bedroom’s with huge bathrooms. Living room and sunroom have great views from every angle. Close to the beach and only 7 miles from Fort Bragg. Would definitely bring the family here again and will recommend it to all our friends. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in there beautiful home and thank you to Vacasa for all they do!

Loved the views. The home was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a family vacation. We did have some wifi issues and cell coverage was spotty. The staff and homeowner were responsive.

This is a beautiful home with views of the ocean from each room in the house. It provides room for your guests to enjoy eating at a large table in the kitchen to plenty of spaces to sit and talk and just relax. I would recommend this home to everyone!

The views were fantastic! Just a couple things for future patrons. Bring coffee grounds, there was a coffee maker and filters but no coffee. Also bring your own spices or cooking spray.. for cooking meals. We borrowed a small ice chest for day excursions so that was nice. The views and location was worth every penny! Views from almost all rooms! We were able to check in early so watch for that notice in your email. If you need to contact Vacasa just call them don't rely on texts. Also, a couple houses down you will find stairs/gate leading down to a beach. Will stay again!

Amazing views, wish we would of been told about the stairs that are available to get down to the water, hot tub was great, house was huge, would be nice for a huge family to go in on cost since it’s a little pricey.

We had a great weekend visiting Fort Bragg with friends. The weather was absolutely beautiful! The view is amazing.

The house is in a great location - amazing ocean views, a short neighborhood walk down to the beach, quick drive to town.
The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The furniture is a bit dated, but the couches are comfy. The bed in the master bedroom is a bit firm, but the kids said the other beds were comfortable.
The wifi was really slow, but it made us unplug a bit. :)

We lost power, water and heat for our second day due to a storm. I needed assistance, I requested several times that I get a phone call. The manager woul randomly reply with a text saying “power outage, thank you” I was extremely disappointed and give customer support and service a 0 out of 10

We stayed several days at Misty Rose where we enjoyed incredible, dramatic sunsets, the ocean air and this spacious, beautiful home. We are already anticipating a return soon!

The only issue we had was with hot tub. It was very dirty and was not able to use it. I notified the manager and got no response.

The master suites were very nice, great views, with a well-equipped kitchen. The front door lock box was problematic, and the flue in the master suite had a metallic/clanking sound when breezy outside.

First off, don’t advertise and charge a hot tub fee when the hot tub isn’t working and you know it isn’t. They did credit us some of the $ after I pointed this fact out. This was our honeymoon trip and specifically looked for a place with a hot tub so that was very disappointing. While it has 2 jetted bath tubs, one of the tubs the jets doesn’t work in and the other one has a broken handle on the hot water. Speaking of hot water, you have 15 minutes tops before the water is cold. The oven is a pointless amenity, unless you have hours to wait for it to heat and cook your food. The house looks beautiful and the views and privacy are amazing. Fix the problems that tons of other people have also pointed out and this would be an AMAZING spot.

We enjoyed our stay at the Misty Rose home. The home is large and has great views. Its location was central to all areas in the Fort Bragg area that we have enjoyed since the 1970's. We will be back. Thank you ....Rob H & Family.

Misty Rose is a beautiful house in a gorgeous location (just 5 minutes to walk down to the beach), but the interior is so out of date it brought the house down considerably. The kitchen sink had trouble maintaining pressure and would only come on periodically, the fireplace in the living room didn’t work (I was told they are waiting on a part), the water heater didn’t heat enough water to fill the jacuzzi bathtubs, so the two baths I tried to take were only lukewarm, and the hot tub display was broken and would not allow you to heat it up sufficiently. To top it off, a towel holder fell off in the bathroom my daughter was using, the sliding doors in her room were missing a stopper so they came out of the pocket slide easily, and when I tried to close the shades in the bathroom in the master bedroom to take a bath, they were broken, tied together and hidden at the top of the shade to look operable, Again, the house is a beautiful house, but until it is updated, I would argue that it isn’t worth staying in currently.

I always use Airbnb for vacation getaways
But I wanted try out Vacasa this time. It ended up into a nightmare during our Christmas weekend.
The oven didn’t worked right it never reached beyond 320 F

BIG PROBLEM:Plus this stay have serious bug issues it’s coming into thru the bedroom (facing the sea )and spreading everywhere in the night we couldn’t sleep the whole two nights, i’ve pictures and videos to support my claim and have sent these to Vacasa. It was been 8 days still no response from Vacassa inspite of calling them 3 times already.
And I called them again today I claimed that I want to talk with the manager/supervisor ASAP after 10min of hold a supervisor was available she argued to me that I was supposed to call the Vacasa at middle of the night to let them know about the bugs. PS: an email was sent to them with pictures prior to my checkout. As per Vacasa manager email was not acceptable she wanted me to call Vacasa in the middle of the night after she argued for few mins she’ve hung up the call.
MY STRONG SUGGESTION: DO NOT STAY USE THIS RENTAL OR VACASA - just for their terrible customer support - giving two stars just for the view

We booked this home for two reasons, one, its cliff-side location. It delivers on that and so the three stars.
The second was it has a hot tub under the stars. Unfortunately, we were notified the day of arrival that the hot tub was not working and a service would be out to address. The hot tub was working for half our total stay.

From a customer service perspective, Vacasa who acts as property manager on behalf of home owners, refunded a credit of under .05% against the cost of the stay for one of the primary amenities being unavailable for half of the stay. After a few emails to their service team and a manager, I was informed that was all they can do. Even after mentioning that I had specifically emailed regarding the hot tubs status prior to booking the home based on others’ 2022 reviews of the inadequate spa maintenance.
We’ve visited Mendocino county for 15 years, a few times a year – this was the first time using Vacasa though…. definitely the last.

Beautiful views...private access to beach...very clean and kitchen is very well equipped. Hot tub is amazing....I definitely would recommend booking.... it was wonderful, relaxing, and has easy access to beach, not far from home away from home.

What a lovely week with my family! The layout of the house was perfect, giving everyone their own space. The views from almost every room were spectacular. After a day of hiking on the trails or walking the beautiful beaches, a soak in the hot tub hit the spot. Cooking in the kitchen was no chore as I could still visit with my family and watch the sunset over the ocean as I cooked. The photos don't lie, the house is a beautiful in person as it is in the Vacasa website.

Great Ft. Bragg Stay
Amazing views! House was large, very clean and welcoming. My family of 5 had a great time staying at the Misty Rose while in the Ft. Bragg/Mendocino area. Great walking beaches right outside your door, close proximity to many state parks, and a hot tub with beautiful views for end of the day sunsets.
One noteworthy item though - Extremely poor and slow wifi internet connection at the home. We were unable to access any subscription streaming services while staying here.
Other than that a very pleasant stay and we would certainly recommend this home to others.

Misty Rose had a-lot of comfort issues
I went for reviews of this place on VRBO, but we did not have the stay we were looking forward to.
PROS: The house sits on a bluff overlooking the ocean which is breathtaking.
CONS: BOTH fireplaces were out during our stay. The fireplace in the master bedroom is the only heat source so it was 50 degrees the 1st night we stayed. Property management VACASSA is next to impossible to contact, but I managed to do it in a text message on my phone. The solution to the fireplace was a portable floor heater since the maintenance person said the wind blows the pilot light out. The well on the property is going out. Water pressure surges while water is on and vibrates the pipes throughout the home. The well sits behind the master bedroom with the bad fireplace so every time the water would come on it would make this constant loud clicking noise. Hot tub has been poorly repaired. Although it worked for us you will notice the side was tore apart for repair work. The repair would be one side of the jets on the spa no longer works. Seems as if the jet pipe(s) broke, so they plugged it off only making 3 sides of the spa work. They do not do a very good job of cleaning for the cost you pay for the cleaning fee. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves. The views can't be beat, but I don't think it was worth the price we paid for 2 nights there.
