The hotel ideal for walking. Good server excellent especially the home made cakes, excellent value.

Breakfast was excellent. The owners could not have been more helpful. We really enjoyed the meals cooked by Ute.

The silence and the nature. Easy to visit different places (in France and Switzerland). We enjoyed our walks and the view is amazing. Great location to relax.

A bit variation in breakfast, specially if you stay longer time.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. We so enjoyed our stay with them. They were welcoming of our corgi, Pepper, and breakfast was wonderful each morning! We both grew up in farm towns so it was like a piece of home in Germany.

I loved everything about our stay here. The food was so good, our hostess spoke great English, and the location can’t be beat. Also, their beds are very comfortable, considering that almost all beds in Europe seem to be rock hard. This pension is perfectly situated for hiking and exploring the surrounding area. There’s also plenty of parking for any size vehicle. We had our German Shepherd with us and she was able to get plenty of exercise on all of the trails. Lastly, I loved the Highland cows and the horses on the property!

I was not a fan of the pillows. But since we drove, I was able to bring my own from home. My husband wishes he brought his. The shower in our room was pretty small. However, I fit fine and the water was nice and hot with great water pressure. I would definitely recommend Cafe Pfaus Heidburg.

We had a good stay, the room was basic but had everything we needed. We also had dinner at the guesthouse which was very good. Location is perfect.

There were some misunderstandings because the staff spoke very poor English. Very annoying was that there was only wifi until 22h.

A very pleasant host lady, a clean room and hotel.

Would be nice to always have access to tea and coffee. But it must have been limited to breakfast hours because of Corona.
