The "Sugar Haus" is simply fantastic. It is super clean and has everything you need and want. The host is super at tentative if you need anything. The area is absolutely stunning. There is plenty to do if you want to and tons of beautiful nature if you just want to get away.

My wife & I wanted to stay near Stowe for a few days and were so lucky to find this home available. We are from FL & while we realize Stowe has more draw in the winter, this mountain cabin home was as good as any we have stayed at in NC or TN. Nearly everything else we looked at in/near Stowe was the typical condo which failed to impress. This home has every comfort you would need and even still has that new home smell. It is beautifully appointed and we loved sitting on the deck/in the hot tub looking out over the pond and surrounding woods. The location was perfect for us and Martin was a terrific host even though we didn't require much. For anyone looking for a newer home close to Stowe with privacy the condos can't offer and with all the comforts of home, the Sugar Haus is a perfect 10. Not only were the photos 100% accurate, they really didnt reflect some of the outside beauty this home has in summer time. This was an amazing stay for us. Thank you Martin...we loved our stay & hope we can return someday!

What truly stood out to us was the attention to detail. Every corner of the house was thoughtfully labeled or accompanied by clear instructions. It made settling in a breeze, and we appreciated not having to guess how things worked.
The drive to Stowe felt shorter than 15 minutes on the local roads, and if you’re looking for things to do closer to home, Morrisville offers plenty. We’d definitely visit again. ‘Sugar Haus’ is more than a cabin — it’s a rejuvenating retreat waiting to welcome you. 🌲🏡✨

This was our third time staying at the Sugar Haus and it was as amazing as always. The cabin is quiet and clean and we loved watching the birds in the morning and using the hot tub at night. It really is the highlight of our winter and we cannot wait to return next year!

Beautiful location and fabulous cozy and romantic getaway. Martin was very responsive and everything was top notch. We were close to so many fabulous restaurants and shops. I do wish the driveway and street were sanded or salted. They were a little scary to navigate at night.

My daughter and I went for a quick girls' getaway. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was so cozy and relaxing with the fireplace and comfy sofa. It had plenty of room for both of us and many extras. The kitchen was fully stocked and the whole house was immaculate. We enjoyed the hot tub and the yard was private and beautiful. The owner, Martin, is a super nice guy and was available if needed. We are planning to make this home part of an annual event!!

This small cabin is perfect for a couple. Design, construction, appliances, etc. are all top notch. Quiet, private location close to many hiking trails, town of Stowe, etc. Also a nice grocery store and a few good restaurants right in Morrisville. Comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, large partially covered deck with hot tub & BBQ grill. Gas fireplace for chilly days plus a nice firepit with wood supplied. Owner (Martin) lives nearby. He was easy to communicate with & very helpful. Overall - Highly recommended!

Great place for a Vermont getaway!
What an awesome place to go for a visit to Vermont! My girlfriend, son and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. The property is exactly as advertised and set on a beautiful piece of property. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, watching the stars in the hot tub and cooking some wonderful meals in the well appointed kitchen. Martin was a wonderful host and was quick to respond to all questions. He also greeted us on our arrival with some great tips on nearby breweries.
We had a lot of fun and would highly recommend staying at Sugarhaus. Thanks again Martin!

Little gem in the woods
This was absolutely the most perfect little house in the woods that felt so private with trees to look out at while you soaked in the hottub and excellent design choices inside that made the house feel perfect in every way. I felt so comfortable there, it is exactly how I would have designed a little cabin if we had a vacation home - the whole family was so , so sad to leave…. I’m not sure how to translate my hands waving in exclamation into words to describe just how in love we are with this little sugar haus but, we will FOR SURE be back ❤️❤️

Perfect anniversary escape
Impeccable. Comfortable. Beautiful. Every detail exactly how you would like it. From the super & enormous comfortable bed to the completely outfitted kitchen to the gorgeous bathroom. It was FREEZING outside, but cozy warm inside. The hot tub was clean and easy to use and so nice after a long day on the slopes. We arrived after nearly a foot of snow, and the road, driveway, and deck were plowed/shoveled. Martin checked in to make sure we had everything we needed & responded right away when we had a question. Thank you for a wonderful vacation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We hope to be back some day.

Leaves, Milky Way and Meteor Shower
The cabin was gorgeous! It was really well done. Loved exploring and seeing all the fall foliage all day and coming home to a huge shower, comfy bed and hot tub. Sat in the hot tub looking at the stars and could see the Milky Way! Last night there we were able to watch a meteor shower. Would definitely stay again or recommend to a friend.

Cozy cabin paradise
Everything about this cabin was fantastic! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped and there are some trails that you can explore right outside the door. The fire pit was an excellent way to end the night along with the amazing hot tub. Wish we could have stayed longer but hope to be back soon. One of the best places we have stayed in the last 10 yeasts.

Peaceful escape
My husband and I enjoyed a week at Martin's cabinet. It was a true respite from city life. Close enough to Stowe and all the activities of the area, but we honestly preferred hanging out and enjoying the quiet and nearby trails. Thank you very much Martin!

Dream Cabin getaway
My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with a stay at the Sugarhaus. It was the perfect location for a romantic getaway. The house is adorable--cozy, with all the modern amenities. We loved the gas fireplace for warming our feet after skiing or snow shoe-ing. The owner was so helpful, even putting down extra sand on the road to help us get up with our non-4WD vehicle. We would DEFINITELY recommend the Sugarhaus. We will definitely be back!

A very pleasant break from reality
The Sugar Haus was a perfect mid-week break for us. There was plenty of space for both adults and our 8 year old, who loved the loft. The house was clean with plenty of towels and comfortable bedding. In addition to feeling very grown up in the loft, the little guy was thrilled with the frogs he found in the woods, the active humming bird feeders, and the visit from Juno (the love bug of a dog). Everything - including the hot tub - felt very clean and safe. We will definitely keep this cabin high on our list of places to return next summer.

Winter Getaway
This property was incredible. The amenities and space are clean and wonderful. The hot tub was ready to use and very clean. There were lots of little touches that were lovely - Vermont maple syrup provided, new keurig with pods, all nice and new kitchen supplies, board games, very comfy bed with nice sheets. Martin was very responsive and was present nearby to help out with any concern. He was super friendly and provided very nice snowshoes for us to use! The property has seemingly unlimited trails for snowshoeing or xc skiing that Martin maintains impressively. Everything about this property was exactly what we were looking for. It is a little bit remote and secluded but also accessible easily to the downtown (15-20 min to grocery etc) with adequately plowed streets when it snowed. I can’t wait to come back!!
