Great place to stay and minutes from the harbor . Host was quick with any responses , so this is a must stay place if your in Matagorda .

Easy to find. Quite accomodations. Very minimal in amenities. No paper products, paper towels, on one roll of toilet paper, ran out during stay and luckily we bought a roll of paper towels before that happened.... It's a new building, so that was nice. But don't forget to bring your paper products. Only Direct tv, thought it said it had movie channels, Netflix, etc.., but didn't have any. Otherwise it was good.

This was a perfect place for our group. We stayed at for one night while in Matagorda doing some duck hunting. We’re able to check in early after our hunt. Simple/clean place with everything you need.

This vacation rental was perfect for our small family, we only needed it for 1 night for a surprise birthday party down the road and it had everything we needed! It was clean and had an excellent outdoor area and plenty of parking!... The wife and I have already planned to stay again after our experience here. Joel responds quickly and had no issues with the rental! I would recommend this to my family and friends for a getaway.

The description of this property is accurate. It is a good size bungalow for a small family at a reasonable price. Do not use GPS with this address, instead look for Coastal Cue BBQ which is next door to the property (2 bungalows side by side). We found waze had the accurate location for Coastal Cue BBQ (which is worthwhile trying if you come on a weekend). Make sure you bring shampoo and food that is easy to prepare. Having a washer and dryer was convenient. Communication with the owner was easy and the place was very clean.

Nice property that accommodated four friends for a fishing trip in Matagorda Bay. The bungalow is clean and has an incredible large covered patio area next to it. Very close to the Bay. Will definitely stay again! Joel was a great communicator and very helpful.

I really enjoyed this place, but there were many small problems and things that could be improved. The location was delightful, only a 10 minute drive to the public beach and walking distance to shops and a bbq joint. The address listed is not accurate - the house is not even on the same street as the address that was given, which made our 2 AM arrival an unwelcome adventure. The size was perfect for my family, I just wish there was more to the kitchen than a microwave and fridge/freezer. In a town as tiny as Matagorda, kitchen options are important as family meal options are sparse. A toaster oven, sharp knives, and microwave safe plates would be a welcome addition. The covered pavilion/porch is lovely - my son loved watching vehicles drive over the bridge from a picnic table. We would have utilized this fantastic space more if there was a grill. We would return to this quant home again in a heartbeat if these changes were made!

We had an amazing time. The covered area was perfect! Highly recommended if you need a place to stay for fishing. The owner can help find a fishing guide if you need one.

Clean and new, perfect little place especially if you have no intentions of cooking anything... BBQ next door is GOOD. beware there is no oven, stove top or dishwasher and the refrigerator is a mini.
