Wir heißen Sie herzlich willkommen, unser neu renoviertes Strandhaus genauso zu lieben wie wir! Wir sind versteckt im maritimen Wald mit seinen schönen lebenden Eichen, aber nur eine 2-minütige Golfwagenfahrt vom fabelhaften South Beach entfernt. Der große Gemeinschaftspool ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Wir haben einen brandneuen 6-Personen Golfwagen für Sie bereit, um die Insel zu erkunden! Unser Haus bietet Platz für 8 Gäste bequem. Unsere erste Etage verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils neuen Kingsize-Betten und angrenzenden Bädern. Der zweite Stock hat ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Queensize-Betten (offen zum ersten Stock) und ein eigenes Badezimmer. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen neuen Flachbild-Samsung-Smart-TV. Wir haben viele Fahrräder, Liegestühle, Strandspielzeug und einen Regenschirm für unsere Gäste. Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher (einschließlich Strandtücher) sind inklusive. Wir bieten auch Seife, Shampoo, Wasch- und Spülmittel, Papiertücher, Toilettenpapier usw. an. Wir sind stolz darauf, ein sauberes, schönes Zuhause für unsere Gäste zu haben! Great property for a family. The home is clean, nicely appointed and well kept. It had everything we needed, plus a couple of nice surprises, like the Shibumi beach umbrella. Both golf carts were in great shape. The community pool is just across the street and very nice. Overall, the location is in the center of the island and pretty close to everything. The property manager is super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was in great shape, clean, very comfortable, and had all of the amenities you could want for a stay on BHI. The location was central to everything, and the neighborhood pool was perfect.

The house is nice and well kept! It was as advertised and my family would wholeheartedly recommend it! The two large golf carts was a nice bonus and the set of beach equipment was appreciated. Having a pool steps away was also great…

Clean and accommodating location for our week stay at BaldHead. We have been coming here for many years and both my wife and I agree that this is one of the nicest and cleanest places that we have ever stayed in. The amenities were great and perfect for our family of 5. The location was perfect for getting to the beach and grocery store. 2 golf carts were provided and even a shibumi for the beach. The owner was kind and made herself readily available for us if we needed her. It was quiet and the pool was great for our grandchildren. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay and will certainly consider coming back next summer.

Shanna was super accommodating and helpful. I’ve never had a property owner respond so quickly to inquiries. The cottage was updated, well appointed and perfect for our family. We will definitely recommend to others and plan on returning ourselves soon!

Took our large family to BHI for a quick weekend and this house didn’t disappoint. Not only was the home beautiful, comfortable and well equipped for children of all ages but Shanna was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would come back and recommend this rental to our friends for the future. Added bonus was the neighborhood the home was in. It was quiet and safe with tons of young kids. My children ventured into the common area for hours at a time and made lifelong friends in our short weekend getaway. We definitely will return and strongly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property last weekend when Hurricane / Tropical Storm Ian came through. The house was very cute and had everything our family of 4 needed - especially when we were stuck inside during the storm. Well stocked kitchen, games, puzzles, and blankets. I cannot say enough about Shanna and the wonderful communication we had with her. She checked on us to make sure we were OK during the storm and did everything she could to make our stay as good as possible. I highly recommend this house!

This was our first time on Bald Head Island but hopefully not our last. This house was perfect for our needs. It was clean, well equipped, and beautiful. The two golf carts worked out great and the pool was super convenient. Thank you for a great experience!

Location was outstanding (right across from pool), close to beach, market and shopping. House has great floor plan to allow for family time together and private time also. Well furnished and appointed, beach and pool toys, bikes, kitchen well stocked, beach towels, etc., everything you need was included and 2 golf carts was a plus. The communication from the owner was amazing, very helpful and responsive.

The house is very cute and everything is nicely decorated. Just a very warm and inviting home. It’s a good size for two families. We had two pre-teens and two teens along with 4 adults. Plenty of space for everyone. The house being located directly across from pool was really a great feature. The kids loved it. The two golf carts were perfect. Got us everywhere we needed to be. Easy to get to beach, very easy to get to market. We loved having the house inside the Ibis Roost neighborhood. Felt very private. Zero complaints about the house and would highly recommend! Communication with host was perfect.

Amazing home and homeowner!
We had a wonderful time during our stay! The property was super clean, in great condition, very well appointed and in a great central location with a nice pool right outside the front door!
Shanna is amazingly accommodating and responsive. The 2 6 person golf carts were awesome and worked perfectly for our party of 7. I would highly recommend this property and owner! We can’t wait to come back to beautiful BHI!!

Perfect for our Family of 4's first BHI trip
This house was perfect for our family of 4's (including a 3 and 2 year old) first trip to Bald Head Island. The house was exactly as described in the listing / pictures, if not better. It was well stocked with all the essentials we needed, including both appliances and kitchen staples. It was exceptionally clean, and tons of room for our family to spread out and enjoy the stay.
Shanna is a great host. She provided amazing recommendations prior to our trip, and stayed communicative and responsive as needed both as we arrived and during our stay. We really had no issues to discuss, but she answered a few questions we had during the week and made sure we had everything we needed.
The location was perfect for us. It's in the forest, but a short golf cart ride from some great beach access points. We also enjoyed being in the forest, as the temperatures were a fair bit cooler. It's also super convenient to the market, shopping, and a few restaurants. The neighborhood (which is small) has a community pool which the house is across the street from, which our girls loved when we weren't at the beach and was never crowded (typically only one other family there if any). Since we had the pool so close, we opted not to do either of the clubs, which worked well for our family.
We definitely hope to use this house again on future trips to the island, and can't say enough good things about Shanna as a host.

Good for families
No complaints about the property but it was definitely not clean when we arrived. Our feet were black, we had to sweep up a half a trash bag full of trash from the kids room upstairs including dirty underwear, and had to mop the floors.

Right across from the pool-literally perfect location. Close to the market and beach access areas as well as the restaurants. The shampoo/conditioner dispensers were low or empty but other than that it was a great experience! We had young toddlers and a crib sleeper so the pack and play was perfect. Our kids are begging to go back!

Annual Beach Trip
2nd visit to this wonderful beach house! Staying at a well maintained property is very important to us and we were not disappointed. Love Bald Head, it’s beautiful beaches and forests. Will be back, thank you Shanna for a great vacation.

The owner could be reached easily, but seemed upset and annoyed. To boot, we paid more than ever - for a smaller house and with only one golf cart (we had to pay $750 for a second cart for the week). Still managed to have a great time but it was not our typical lovely BHI experience.

A great trip!
House was perfect for our family of 4, with plenty of room to spare! Homeowner was very responsive and helpful. Everything we needed for the beach was provided - chairs, sand toys, etc. The smart tvs were a plus for the evenings. The kids loved the loft area and said the beds and bedding were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
