This was a fantastic getaway for the family. Great views. The drive up the mountain has steep inclines but the road up is newly paved. Really enjoyed the natural beauty up top.

We have stayed in W. North Carolina rentals for many, many years. Some have been great, and some "not so great." This house was really nice with lovely finishes. It was clean upon arrival, everything was in working order, the linens were fresh, the towels were plentiful, the kitchen well-stocked and the bed was comfortable!
Being a "flat lander," I want to comment on the access. One of my biggest concerns when renting in this area is the trek up to the house. Of course, you must climb the mountain to get that desirable mountain view. We have rented some in the past that were downright scary. As such, I must say that one of my *favorite* things about this house was the drive up. Yes, it took a little while to get there - but the road was paved and easy to drive - even when encountering another vehicle! And some of the views along the way rivaled those that you see on the Parkway!
We also really enjoyed driving thru the golf course, and even took advantage of the Bar & Grill for a quick bite. But the restaurant options in Maggie Valley and Waynesville were plentiful - we never wanted for a good meal. And yes, there were evenings when we opted to stay in and just enjoy the sounds of nature on the back deck - heavenly!
Finally - the owner was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to texts.

We had a wonderful vacation and this rental really added that special touch. It was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and those views were amazing. A couple of days before we arrived, our host sent us an email with all the information needed to check in and more! I appreciated this so much as it had a lot of useful information like our code to get in, directions, where to go for groceries, and how to use the amenities of the house. Once we arrived, the house was better than the pictures (and those pictures were beautiful). They had everything labeled with instructions. One of the biggest things for me is cleanliness and this was 5/5. Everything was clean and the house smelled good. It felt cozy and warm. The views from the family room and the balconies were absolutely breath taking. The first night we had dinner out on the main balcony. We did not use the grill but it has one. We also used the fire pit (which is smokeless) and it was very nice. The front of the house has a bench swing with a regular swing on each side - my kids LOVED this. It was so nice to swing out there with the birds chirping while looking out into the mountains. Overall, this was a 5/5 stay (probably one of the best we have done on VRBO) and we would definitely book it again. I highly recommend it if you are really looking to experience being out in the mountains, seeing the stars bright in the sky at night, and just wanting to disconnect and relax.

From my initial contact with host to departure, everything was wonderful. The host answered my texts immediately and was very helpful. The views were outstanding! The home was fully equipped with everything that we needed. The view from the upstairs bedroom was incredible. The room itself was very spacious. The only negative was having to leave. I would highly recommed this property.

This is a lovely house in a beautiful quiet neighborhood just up the mountain from Maggie Valley. The house very comfortable and well equipped for a group.
The property manager is very helpful and responsive. She allowed us a late check out, and answered all my questions.

This home was advertised as a luxury stay. This is not a luxury home. If it were a car, it’s a Camry not a Mercedes. The house is Porta laid out, and the heating system was spotty at best.

The cabin is high on the mountain and has great views. The drive up the mountain is paved and was an easy drive up to me. I would arrive during day light due to narrow roads and easier navigation though. The cabin was clean and had all we needed for our stay. Katherine, the guest host checked on us a few times to make sure we had what we needed and that everything was good. We had no issues. Detailed check in/access info was provided in advance. The location is good for trips to other areas including The Biltmore, Bryson City, Cherokee, Waynesville, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. The only things the cabin is missing is an outdoor hot tub and comfy recliner 😀. It does have a big jet bath tub in master.

Secluded & Well-maintained with nice views. Great layout with at least one bedroom and bathroom on each floor. Comfortable with plenty of seating and space for everyone. I always say I’ll never stay the same place twice but I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Loved it.

Great Cabin with Beautiful Long Range Views
The cabin was wonderful, just as advertised! Warm in Maggie Valley but Very cool at the cabin situated at 4700 ft elevation. Beds were comfortable, great deck, nice size kitchen with lots of counter space too!

Beautiful Property
We had a great time during our stay here. The property is beautiful, and the house was perfect for us. You should definitely plan to get to the house before dark for your first night, especially if you're not used to the winding mountain roads. We loved the seclusion, the firepit, the mountain view and back deck. 5 stars!

Peace and Quiet
Nothing beats the trickle sound of a creek while sitting on a deck at 4500 ft elevation. Oh, the best part is no one else was around. Like everyone else I need to find a realtor asap.

Beautiful house
Super nice house, comfortable beds & Extremely clean. Loved getting to see the Mountain Views outside the windows. We even got to see deer come up in the back yard. Enjoyed playing pool & shuffle board. Monkia was very responsive to our texts & emails. She really went out of her way to make sure we had a great trip. We would definitely stay here again.

AWESOME HOUSE
We had an absolute wonderful time…the best time to go is in the Fall months (gorgeous weather). Lots of hikes nearby.
The house is perfect and VERY clean! We had 2 kids and 3 adults and it was very accommodating. Lots of room too!
Take the advice from the owner and do not drive to the house at night as it is very high on the mountain (steep climb) on a narrow road…it is totally fine during the day!
We will definitely be staying again next year!

A warm and beautiful place to spend the holiday
We had an amazing experience at this lovely home for our Thanksgiving holiday. In total, we had 7 adults and 1 child staying here, each person having plenty of space to sleep comfortably and have a little bit of privacy when they needed it. The house was clean and well appointed, exactly as pictured and checking every box we had to find the perfect mountain getaway. We were able to cook and serve an entire Thanksgiving feast here, and wanted for nothing. While our cell reception was spotty, the WiFi and tech throughout worked perfectly and kept us connected for the few work-related things we had to take care of while on vacation. Monika was absolutely fabulous -- any questions or needs we had she addressed immediately and made sure our stay was perfect start to finish. The other great thing to note about this house is location!!! The views were amazing, you're only 15 minutes from town which had everything (from grocery shopping to restaurants), the trip to Asheville/Biltmore is super quick and easy, skiing is close by, and there's a golf course/driving range open to the public just outside of the neighborhood. Plus trails and all sorts of beauty to explore right outside your door. You really couldn't ask for a better spot. We will definitely be back again -- thank you so much Monika for sharing your home with us ...what an awesome trip!

The house is fabulous! The views are gorgeous, the landscaping around the house is very tidy and peaceful. The house itself is spacious, well equipped and spotless. Amazing stay!
My experience with this home started out great with booking it with an Evolve employee named Taylor! He was kind and answered all my questions. It was so easy booking this property with Evolve. The guest contact, Monika was also very kind. She reached out to me a couple of days before check-in to make sure I received all the codes and information I needed for my check-in. This house is GORGEOUS! The master bedroom is stunning, there are SEVERAL decks to use and look at the beautiful mountain views. The firepit is in the front of the house with the cutest little tree trunk chairs. Service is definitely low/non exsistent but there is WiFi so that was helpful. You definitely want to make sure you have your groceries before getting to the house because you'll need to add an additional 15 minutes to get down the mountain. My family and I enjoyed playing dart, shuffleboard, playing cards on the deck and the sauna was an added bonus. I can't say enough good things about this home. It's truly the perfect mountain escape. Thank you for a great family trip during this chaotic time!

Our Adventure Base Camp
A cozy and tranquil mountain retreat that has fantastic views. The babbling brook on the side of the house adds to the serenity. Ours kids loved making s'more at the fire pit. We were an adventurous group driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Whitewater Rafting on the Nantahala River, picnicking at Cataloochee Valley, Deep Creek River Tubing and hiking in Smoky Mountains National Park. One of our favorites was catching a sunset from the parking lot of Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway which also is a great location for star gazing on a clear night! Being out of cellphone coverage adds to the wilderness/mountain retreat experience. We had a wonderful time at the property and highly recommend this location to others!

Great mountain house!
It was great, way more beds than expected! Very comfortably accommodated my husband and I and our 2 kids. We enjoyed the sauna, grilled some steaks, played golf, and hiked every day. Just what we needed.

Beautiful Cabin w/Few Hiccups
Overall, this is a beauty cabin with a wonderful view. Just beware that once you get through the gate, the road to the cabin is very long, very narrow, and very crooked. Be careful. No guardrails. It lasts for about 10 -15 minutes. DO NOT ARRIVE AFTER DARK. There are almost no lights along the way and you could easily miss the house and there are not many places to turn around. Once we arrived, we were pleased for the most part. No problems with the code and gaining access to the home. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool table. Very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful and comfortable mountain home!
Our two families of four really enjoyed this home! It was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed. We had to extend our stay due to a hurricane evacuation and Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes were awesome in helping us extend our stay! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vacation rental!

Great Home in the Smokey Mountains
This place is absolutely amazing! The drive up to the house for the first time was a little scary since it was our first time as a family ever going to the mountains, but if after a day you really enjoy the drive up and down the mountainside to this beautiful home. I will be coming back to stay at this place any time I come to visit the Smokey Mountains again
