we enjoyed our stay very much. The large deck was perfect for everyone in the evenings

Lovely setting, well stocked, comfy beds. Pool and ping pong tables definately a hit with grand kid as well as hot tub.

We loved everything about the cabin, accommodations, and the area! It was just what our family needed! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place! We will definitely be back!

Fun time. Great space outdoors with a few decks and fun with the pool table and table tennis. Kitchen was well stocked (and we left a few things we couldn't take home on the plane :))
4.8
Nice property and neighborhood. Nice to have a lot of kitchen items provided.

The kitchen is stocked so well that I didn’t have to get out any of my own stuff. The beds are a dream. Sheets are amazing. Hot tub was perfect. I like that nobody was waiting on a bathroom ever. Such a great home and area. So beautiful. Loved sitting on the multiple decks. They have two refrigerators and one is well stocked with beverages that you can leave a donation for. Brilliant. I’d love to live there. Hope to stay again sometime!

We loved the house. It was somewhat secluded even though it was in a residential area. We liked that it was convenient to Walmart and that we could have groceries delivered quickly.

This house was incredible! We stayed for 6 days and still didn’t feel long enough! The neighborhood was perfect, you feel like you are in the mountains but just a couple minute drive or even a nice walk into town. The view of Pikes Peak was incredible, you get to watch the sun rise and set on it from the balcony. The town of Woodland Park was adorable, AJ’s pizza was great and you must visit the Dinosaur Resource Museum. We did nonstop adventures while we stayed at the house, but the evenings were perfect at the house. We have 7 people, three generations, staying at the house and the layout of the house could not have been better! We would come back and stay here in a heartbeat!! We were all so sad to leave when our time here came to an end. Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home so we could enjoy the natural beauty of Colorado!

Home is private, beds were nice. Close enough to town that it’s very convenient.

The host and his wife were so amazing in helping us stay comfortable in the cabin while there was a winter storm. We were so blessed to have meet such great hosts and will plan to be back in the future.

We had a great stay for a long weekend, with two families there was plenty of room to spread out and the decks were really nice to see the view. We were there while a snow storm rolled in and it was beautiful to watch from the big windows. Owners were really quick to respond to any issues and things were resolved right away. We’d absolutely stay here again if we’re in the woodland park area.

Great place to unwind. Great wood floors. Great views. Quiet.

Property was just as described. We enjoyed our stay.
4.8
Great home, very comfortable beds, well laid out for a couple families to enjoy. Views of the mountains and everything else from multiple decks, great place to relax.

This home was gorgeous!
The deer greet you in the mornings!
The beds were comfortable. We did not use the game room, it did look like fun!
We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the beauty surrounding us.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days while adventuring around Pikes Peak. It’s in a good location to seeing things in the area and having plenty to do. We thought it would be a bit more secluded, we missed the map details showing it was in a neighborhood. So we were a little disappointed on that end. We had a doe and her fawn show up in our last morning and rested in the flower beds. It was sweet. Make sure to note that there isn’t any air conditioning. We missed that as well in the description. Even though it gets cooler in the evenings the house was a bit hot for sleeping for us. This would be a great place for families - it’s big and roomy and has ample space for a large group.

Nice home for a family vacation. Very clean and lots of room to spread out. Big wrap around balcony with lots of seating and a hot tub. View of Mountains, trees, birds, hummingbirds and lots of deer. Easy drive for all the visitor locations. Great place and would book again.

I and my family had an amazing vacation and couldn’t have picked a better home! We each had our “own” space with so many options for gathering together too! The views from so many decks on different levels was a welcomed added bonus! The house is incredibly stocked with everything we needed too! Thank you for all you do to make the booking process so easy! The updates and reminders were so helpful and I was glad we booked through Evovle! 😍

I wish we had more time to stay here. We so badly needed a beautiful and peaceful getaway and we sure got that. Beautiful home which is kept very clean. We will be back!! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! I can't say enough, how much I love it here!

This home work wonderfully for our family. We enjoyed the wild life and just getting to be out of the city. Thank you for providing an amazing location.
4.8
We had a great time checking out CO Springs and surrounding area. Home big enough for 6 people with plenty to do! It was a great place to come back to every evening
4.8
The accommodations were just perfect for us! So many seating areas both inside and outside on the decks made things even more enjoyable. There was plenty of “me time” spaces as needed and we were totally satisfied with the house!

Stayed with our 8 and 13 year old kids and in-laws; Great location in the woods but close to a lot of outdoor activities. Great place to come home to every night after exploring!

Super easy to get to. In the mountains yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. A great place to stay especially with teens.

Thank you Julie for lending your home for our family vacation! This was the first family vacay we have ever taken as a whole! The views were amazing. The kitchen was amazing came with every we needed. And everyone was able to sleep comfortably. Thank you for also providing things we may have forget! Again this is a must book! Hope to book again in the near future!!!

The house was large but cozy! We loved the hot tub and the location of the home. It felt like we were in the woods and secluded, but we were just a few short minutes away from town. Overall, a great place to stay!
4.8
This home is located in a neighborhood but still provides a wonderful mountain feel of seclusion. Julie was very accommodating despite us arriving 15-20 minutes earlier than check in time. The home is comfortable with a nice large kitchen for gathering and cooking meals. A nice large dining table for enjoying meals and conversation however it is a little tight to gather. We were only 4 adults so not a huge issue. The decks on this home are awesome with plenty of room to sit and grill. We spent most of our time there as the weather was beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and loved the walk in showers!

Julie was an attentive hostess. Our family thoroughly enjoyed everything at Sleeping Bear and hope to book again. Thanks!

This was the perfect getaway for our family of 5. So relaxing, and beautiful views from the house. Excellent communication by the local owners.

We had the best trip! The weather was absolutely perfect for hiking and had a gorgeous day for a deck party. We were able to eat outside at a nice big table, grilled and enjoyed some wine in the hot tub! The beds are very comfortable!
Thank you 🏔

Beautiful home on the fringes of Woodland Park. Quick access to many of Colorado's treasures. Great place to come home to after a days adventure.

Perfect
We've loved our stay here at Sleeping Bear! It's conveniently located closest to the southern part of Colorado Springs where we like to play, and yet it gives a remote mountainous feeling. We have four grown children with my husband and me, and all of us have felt very comfortable here. This home is beautiful and has been perfect for my family's visit. I'm hopeful we'll get to return in the future.

We had a family trip planned and really wanted to stay in a semi remote location with a cozy cabin feel. We definitely got that with this house. While the house had its pros and cons, we did feel that it was slightly over priced for what we got.
The pros; it’s great for multi family vacation! There’s plenty of bedrooms and living spaces for everyone without feeling on top of each other. The location has short hiking trails in walking distance, a small fire pit to make s’mores, and great views. Grocery stores and the small town are within 5 minutes. We loved hanging out in the kitchen and the outdoor patio was a nice spot to chill in the evening. If you like all that then it’s probably enough to overlook the cons.
The cons; baby gates for the downstairs and upstairs didn’t work properly. I have a crawling baby that I had to keep within a foot of me at all times because of the dangers of the stairs. It would be a great house for older kids. The basement had a musty smell and the carpets looked like they needed cleaning. The sheets in one bedroom did have to be washed when we got there because they were dusty and had hairs. Cleaning supplies were a bit lacking; no vacuum, no extra mop pads, no counter spray cleaner. The chlorine in the hot tub the first night was very strong and there were floating black/brown particles (we didn’t see a skimmer to clean it off with).
We felt like this house could have been amazing had it not been for a few of the cons, but these may be minor to others. Once addressed, this place would be a truly great stay.
