This house is amazing. Everything in it is so comforting which in turn makes it a wonderful place to relax. Everything was provided for us so all we needed was the food we wanted to eat. That's just the inside, the outside has a beautiful big yard with multiple places to sit throughout. It is a quiet and peaceful place to stay. Bbq pits are also on the premises, one fixed in the backyard and a portable one that can be moved to whatever area of the yard that you would want to bbq your kind of food. Definitely a place that we would want to come back to and enjoy not only the house but the surrounding businesses, restaurants, shops and fishing places that are in walking distance.

This destination is exactly as advertised. I’ve stayed in plenty rentals and this one by far exceeded expectations. It was super clean and welcoming, plenty of kitchenware so you only really need to travel with groceries or make a quick grocery run upon arrival. The beds were super comfy, and plenty of blankets around the house. The natural lighting in the house is amazing. If you travel with little ones they keep little activities such as coloring books & games around to keep the littles entertained. Not far from restaurants, gyms, shopping centers, & fishing locations. The surrounding area was so quiet and peaceful. I couldn’t not have asked for a better getaway location. It is the top place I’ve stayed in forsure!

Sandra was the best host ever, from booking to check out and everything in between. She offered wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to eat. She was easily reachable throughout the stay if we needed anything or had questions.The Galloping Seahorse is the cutest little vacation home. It’s beautiful decorated, very clean and has all the amenities you may need - just bring some food! Full fridge, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, dishes, pots/pans, serving bowls/dishes, and all items you’d need to clean up after a yummy meal, and all necessary toiletries. Stayed here with family of four (two adults, two teens) while one of the kids did a week long camp at NASA. Plenty of room for us to spread out. House was clean, AC worked well during a warm Houston week. House well stocked for all our needs. Neighborhood doesn't look like much on a map, but a number of good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Neighborhood was quiet too. 10 minute drive to NASA, 3 minute drive to Kemah. Would stay again if in the area in the future.

This home got 5 stars from all 4 members of my family. We loved the charm and relaxed feel of the home. The towels and linens were of good quality. The beds were firm. The only minor complaint we have is that the kitchen lacked a large enough pot to cook pasta for four.

We came to Houston for the airshow and had reservations at another property which cancelled the day before our arrival. We managed to find the "Galloping Seahorse" the night before. Boy our we glad we found it! It was a great house, comfortable digs, walking distance to nice local restaurants, and easy access to NASA and the airshow. We are considering it for next year's show. Definitely recommend.

We loved "The Galloping Seahorse" !! So perfectly layed out! Very clean, the airco was nice and cold, not cool, Cold...that in itself was worth the stay!! It was well stocked for beach fun and the location was spot on. The 🏀 goal was a bonus! Definitely recommend staying here!!! It was such a wonderful place. My family just loved it. We didn’t want to leave 😩 We had great memories there! The only thing I didn’t like is the dryer; it doesn’t dry the clothes as it should. But overall, great!

This house is awesome! Super clean. It had everything we needed. Every room was perfect. The neighborhood is great. Walking distance to several fun and interesting restaurants. Quite an eclectic mix of restaurants and shops. Especially loved Dam Fine Coffee and Fried Pies, which is just a few steps away. We will be back!

We loved our stay at the Galloping Seahorse. The home is located in a great area with delicious restaurants in walking distance and a short drive to NASA which is why we came to Seabrook. House was exceptionally clean and had lots of landing space for the whole family.

Our first time visiting the Houston Bay Area in Seabrook. The house was absolutely fantastic. As my first air bnb stay I didn’t know what to expect but the photos from the listing were more than acceptable. Well, the photos don’t do it justice. The Gallopping Seahorse is amazing. The hosts have thought of every amenity to make you feel like you’re at home. From complementary snacks upon our arrival to letting us know what was in the areas as far as shopping, restaurants, etc. we truly felt like we never left home…even down to the washer and dryer for added convenience. You can’t remember to bring everything you need but the host surely made up for that. There were tea and coffee pods as well as dishwashing liquid and complimentary washing detergent should you need it. We were very relaxed and the home was suited for our visit of 5 adults, 1 child and an infant. We never seemed crowded or cramped and there is plenty of room both inside and out for most almost any activity. I also loved that there were games included as well as some cute little arts and crafts to keep young minds busy. The place is amazing but must be experienced firsthand. I will definitely visit again when I return to the area.

We have never been to the area before, but we would not hesitate to book this house again. We really enjoyed how walkable the neighborhood was and how close it was to the space center. My husband took our oldest into Houston for a concert and even that drive wasn’t too bad.

This location is beautiful, quiet, in close proximity to many attractions and is very thoroughly furnished. Nothing is skimped on in this house from the mattress to the kitchen supplies. This is a wonderful escape for your family!

Seabrook Get Away
The house is located in the cute town of Seabrook, TX located on Galveston Bay. It is a short walk from multiple great restaurants: the Seabrook Waffle Company and Merlion to name two, and close the the Seabrook trails. The property is well maintained and was perfect for my wife, baby, and I to spend time with friends. While the Texas summer kept us from using the fire pit, it looked inviting and would be great in fall, winter, or spring. I would highly recommend this house for those looking for a house to rent in the area.

We travel a lot as a family. We also have Airbnb properties in two countries. We know what what are talking about when we say that this place is as good as it gets for a home rental stay. We have nothing but good things to say about this house.
It has a nice, but not over-the-top nautical theme.
It is just down the street from a great waffle place.
The beds are nice and comfy.
The TV is a good size and of great quality.
The AC also works great.
We knew we were in for a good stay even before we got there because of the communication from Sandra that started the day before our check-in.
When we arrived we were greeted by some cute sidewalk art and a gift basket.
The house is so well maintained and you can tell that Sandra really wants the guests to enjoy their stay in the Galloping Seahorse.

The BEST VRBO ever!
This house in old Seabrook, TX was extremely well appointed…not to mention beautiful! There were lots of little details and extras! (too many to name) The location made it easy to get around locally as well as travel to both Galveston and Houston. The yard was great for the kids and family, including some balls, a basketball hoop, games and a fire pit…with wood! Did I mention the home was well appointed?! This was simply perfect for our little family reunion! Thank you!

The place was beautiful and the owners made us feel very welcome. We especially loved the Christmas decorations since our stay was over the holidays. It was easy to check in and out. Definitely would stay here again.

The property was spotless, very welcoming, even had Christmas decorations! This is a perfect property for a family that wants to spend time together. They have everything! Kitchen has everything you need to cook, bake, serve, etc. Best stocked kitchen I have seen! The living area was comfy, they even had throw blankets. Towels, blankets, etc. good quality and looked new! The manager had small toiletry items, bathroom spray, etc. There were snacks and drinks which were much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again!

This airy, beach home is so comfy nestled within a residential neighborhood. That being said, there are several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed afternoon coffees at Damn Fine Coffee Co. one block away. Rental has room for 6 and could accommodate more as needed. NASA and Galveston close by. Book now and relax.

From the house itself, to the amenities, this home has it all. Would have loved to stay longer, and will definitely be back. The neighborhood is quiet, and secure, with several dining options that we pushed a stroller to. The pillows, mattresses, and bedding were fantastic, and my wife has been hounding me about asking Sandra where she got them. Great Value, great location, and great host!
