Great apartment. Lots of towels. Clean. Comfortable.

The batteries for the remote control for one of the fans were dead. I called the host the first night we were there. I told her that we couldn’t figure out how to turn the fans on. (One of them had manual controls and I did end up figuring out how to get that one going.) She returned my phone call and left a message, but she was obviously under the influence. When I figured out there was a remote control, I realized the batteries were dead. I just didn’t contact her again.

everything was neat and clean. the management left me a birthday present which was super cool we will definitely rent again.

Everything was well put and organized.

Fridge had a strong smell. Water from kitchen sink had a smell. Sink and faucet in the restroom was a little dirty. Water from restroom sink tasted weird when brushing teeth..

It was close to the beach

Loved that the curtains weren't on the window,s, saw the sunrise and sunset Perfectly!

Nothing to do with the rental, but Surfside's water is bad, even taking a shower, but my hair was soft! We brought plenty of water because of the others reviews!

Water was rusty! Terrible smell! No closets. No privacy. No window coverings. Bright lights from other houses shine in at night. Mosquitoes.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Shanty! Everything inside & outside is updated, nicely decorated, well stocked, very cozy & clean beach house. Owner’s provide a charcoal grill at our request. Felt extremely safe, loved the location, very quiet & the awesome deck was the best. Definitely would stay again! Thanks so much, April!

Just need a place to hang clothes, maybe some hooks. Some optional curtains on the windows around the bed (neighbors can see in). A non-stick skillet, iron/ironing board & a trash dumpster for trash. Everything else was GREAT!
