We enjoyed our winter get-a-way very much, in beautiful downtown Mobile. The property is really cute and charming, and the up-scale location makes walking to all our favorite Mobile hangouts so fun. Our hosts Lara and Richie are very accommodating and friendly, while letting us enjoy the privacy and amenities of home. A must-stay if you are visiting Mobile, and we hope to return next winter!

Our second time to stay at the property and just like the first the homeowners made sure that our needs were met. House is awesome and location is close to several venues. We chose it because of the closeness to the cruise terminal.

Property was in close proximity to all events we were attending.

House is convenient to downtown activities. Just a short 10 minute walk which allows you to see the beautiful historical homes. Plenty of restaurants nearby plus a dog park if you are traveling with your furry companion. The hosts are exceptionally great. Answered all of our questions and gave us plenty of recommendations. If traveling brings us back to Mobile this is where we will stay.

Great little house in an awesome location. The house was clean and ready to go before our check-in time, and the owners were very helpful and kind. We didn’t need anything but would have had no problem reaching out to them. Absolutely zero complaints or concerns with this house. We would definitely stay here again!!

The house was perfect for my business trip. Extremely clean! Convenient location. Good neighborhood. I travel to Mobile annually for a conference in the Convention Center. I’ll definitely book this house again next year if it’s available. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The host is located near by for easy communication although I had no issues or reason to call on her. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

The whole family fit very comfortably and it was very well equipped with all the little things you normally won’t find at a hotel. Very quiet neighborhood and cute house. We would stay here again!

The property was very clean and had a homie feel. The little niceties included with the property were appreciated: coffee K-Cups and plenty of sweetener options for the coffee, tea, laundry detergent, cute soaps...etc. We have used two different VRBOs to date, and this property was outstanding. Communication when I had to make some adjustment and dates was immediate and also very appreciated! 5 Stars all the way.

Great little house! Nicely and comfortably decorated. Loved all the local artwork and posters. The kitchen is so terrifically stocked that I thought I was in my own kitchen!

Very pleased with my stay, only slight drawback remotes needed batteries. Not a deal breaker!

My sisters and I stayed at The Blue House on a trip we took to celebrate my oldest sister's birthday. When we arrive at the house Lara had set up a nice table with a birthday cake and a bottle of bubbly! The house was in the perfect location, close (walking distance) to downtown. The decor was very charming and all the extras were included, including snacks, coffee and tea. This house is the best place we have stayed in all our travels. We regret that we couldn't stay longer but if we get an opportunity to return to Mobile we will definitely stay here again. It was perfect!

The home was comfortably furnished and well stocked, including snacks and coffee. It's an older home with a good amount of charm, including squeaky wood floors. It was an easy walk downtown and the surrounding neighborhood is attractive and quiet. It was nice to have the fenced backyard for our dogs. A little more TLC would be nice, but none of the things we noticed are worth mentioning individually without sounding like a snob.

We loved our stay here! The house is so charming and even better than the listing shows! The location is safe and quiet, within walking distance of everything downtown, and the house was well stocked and so comfortable. There's even a private backyard to relax in. We definitely lucked out finding this listing and would definitely stay again!

Perfect property. Cozy, excellent location and lovely neighborhood. Home is clean and welcoming, plenty of space, nicely furnished and the kitchen was perfect. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great!! Will definitely stay here again!!! Lara is a wonderful owner, warm and welcoming.

This house was absolutely beautiful! Lara thought of literally everything you could possibly need when you stay somewhere. Lara and Richie were delightful! Wonderful neighborhood. Super near by to the best burger in town. If you stay here, you have to try out Callaghan's Irish Social Club, it is a MUST!

My family enjoyed this property. Plenty of room for everyone and the located was excellence. I'm from Mobile, and grew up in the area the "Blue House" is located so it was a join staying there, and I was only 2 minutes from my parent's home. Quiet, clean, plenty of room, great location and it had everything we needed for our stay. Two thumbs UP.

The property was so charming and cute! We loved the location in relation to the USS Alabama. It was a short less than 5 minute commute to a weekend event. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. My daughter loved the few board games that was in the house. We would for sure stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Mobile! Lara and Richie are terrific hosts. This historical home was well decorated and very welcoming. The location was perfect for us since our son's competition was at the Civic Center about a block away. Also, it was great to be able to bring our dog.

Everything was perfecto. Location is ideal to explore downtown. We will stay here again.

This house is perfect for access to downtown Mobile, yet it was still on a quiet street. We walked to the Mardi Gras parades and restaurants easily and were able to avoid driving in the traffic of this extremely busy time for Mobile. The house is conveniently located near I-10 which is useful to access many places in the area other than downtown. The house was nicely decorated and comfortable. The owners were friendly and easily contacted. If our family returns to Mobile, we would happily stay in the “Little Blue House” again.

This house is very well kept, very well equipped and the perfect location for all things Mardi Gras. We feel so lucky to have found this little gem! Looking forward to coming back every year! Thank you to such wonderful hosts! We love your little house!

We stayed at this lovely property for the opening weekend of Mobile Mardi Gras. It is in the perfect location for enjoying all that downtown has to offer. The owners are amazing and have created, in our opinion, the perfect vacation home!

My wife said it all, "There is nothing wrong at this house. I have no suggestions. It is perfect." I'm a little more into the details, so I will add that the kitchen had more of everything than I've seen at any other short term rental. The wall art, pillows, throws and overall decorations were classy and comfortable. The house is a classic. And the location is ideal. We walked to a seafood restaurant, beignets, and a craft brewery. One of my favorite parts of staying here was walking to British Park and Spanish Plaza with our little dog. We will not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit with family and friends in Mobile.

This home is just what we were looking for and we look forward to staying again. The neighborhood is quiet, even on New Year's Eve. Of course we could hear fireworks when we were outside, but there was no traffic or rowdy folks around the home. There may have been a few quirks to the old building that we didn't notice, but it was perfect for us. Unique with a history you can feel is what we were looking for and we found it here. Zero complaints from this family! 🥰 Lara has extra blankets for snuggling for a movie night with the family on the couch, games for the kids, books to read, and plenty of towels. It was easy to clean up behind ourselves with plenty of dish and laundry soap. She is new to the game and off to a running start! It will only get better from here. Just make sure you leave some dates for us to return. 😉

We could not have asked for a better location. We had several things going on in the downtown area and had we wanted to, we could have walked. But the house itself, while located downtown, is in a very nice neighborhood on a quiet street that did NOT feel like downtown at all. Everything was neat and orderly. The property owners were very accommodating to our late arrival time. I could see this becoming an annual visit. No complaints at all.
