We wanted a place to get away from city life and chill, and we found it!!! Having a chicken lay your egg for breakfast is a must. Our hosts were there but ensured our privacy. If you want quality downtime and super hosts just book.

Quaint and comfortable in a relaxed surrounding. A perfect place for a quiet getaway from busy world, but close enough to explore and enjoy the Nelson region.

Beautiful little cottage surrounded by flowers. The outdoor bath and fireplace was amazing. Rachel was really friendly and helpful in helping us decide where to go. Wish we could've stayed longer!

The water pressure was a little weak so you're best off sticking to that wonderful tub.

Kitchen quite small and no cooktop. A little induction hob would be nice - but understand concerns over ventilation of moisture. A very minor niggle about a great place

Freshly homemade bread and fresh Hazelnuts were a supprise. Bed + bedding was AMAZING!! The room was warm and smelt so good like vanilla when arriving. I really liked the outside fire place and outside Bath. We loved everything about this place just wish it was a bit more private. Definitely coming back, was a really good price too

Absolutely perfect, a nice relaxing weekend away, so peaceful with the surroundings around us, we really enjoyed our stay, and all the little things to make you feel relaxed, we will definitely be back, thank you heaps :)

Rachel was amazing and our expectations were superceded. Our only comment was that we realised for a couples retreat, we maybe weren’t completely alone being attached to the house so maybe for a couple having an ‘intimate’ weekend as we got a little bit self conscious so might not completely work for that, but beautiful place to stay.
