It's definitely time to renovate. Holes in the wall. Fixtures that didn't work. The fridge was really loud and didn't cool after keeping us awake most of the night. It felt like the facility has become a place where contractors are housing their workers....4 to 5 per room possibly. That's all fine and good if that is the patron you are after. We on the other hand, will look for other accommodations in the future. It's become too run down. We stayed here twice last year. Hope there is a facelift in the future because the location is great.

Friendly staff. Housekeeping was very friendly and accomadating to our needs. Very close to Reeves Theatre. Affordable. We will stay here again, but only in Non-smoking rooms.

I wish we had been offered smoke free rooms, which is what my Mother and Sister had and their room was very nice, clean and pleasant smelling. We are former smokers so we ended up in a smoking room. Our rooms were very nasty. The bedspread had burn holes. The towels looked yellow and dingy. Sink and tub stains. The toilet was cracked. The smoke smell was horrible. It smelled so bad, we had to leave our door open, which was a mistake as the "smoking outside area" was right at our door! Everything we brought into the room (clothes, luggage) will need to be washed to remove the funky room smell.

location was good for our needs

The room was in rough shape, dirt all over the walls, stains on comforter. refrigerator had cigarette ashes in it. would go a very long way to paint, caulk shower and replace the shower curtain. we wouldn’t stay again based on this experience.

property was fine

walked into the room, and all was fine then look into the bathroom and the toilet was all colors of brown. first time that has ever happened to me. flushed it three times to get it all down. was no point in calling the front desk because they could of done the same.

Convenience

Dreadful Wi Fi was my only negative. I am now back home, and have hours and hours of work to do that I couldn't do at the motel because NO WI FI!

Very affordable, good location right outside the downtown area, everything was comfortable.

There was no carpet

Dirty walkways, dirty bathroom floors, no hair dryers even when I asked for one it was broken. The light fixture was broken and didn't work

your add show a very nice location and the construction of the remodel was disappointing. It would have been nice to be warned of the remodel. I did save money but will not be back due to not being noted of the remodel on your web site.

Location was close to downtown, cost of room was good, clean room.

TV would not come on and the room key card didn't work when we first arrived , but the desk clerk who checked us in quickly came and fixed those things for us. He was very nice and accomodating.

Clean, comfortable room

I booked a room late the night before. On the day of, I went to check in. The guy looks up at me and says that I booked a smoking room. He says that he knows I don't smoke and are probably there with my wife and kid an always requested the bottomed floor.. He went ahead and reserved a non-smoking room on the ground floor for us. This is why we always stay at the Elk Inn in Elkin NC. Thanks Andy!

I have nothing bad to say about this place.
