Grandview! Overlooking the Mississippi River with year 'round HOT TUB!
Diese wunderschöne Blockhütte befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend in den Klippen über dem Dorf Ferryville (180 Einwohner). So viele Gründe, in unserer fünften Ferienwohnung zu übernachten, einschließlich unserer Aufmerksamkeit für Design, Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Komfort. Perfekt für einen romantischen Kurzurlaub, für Ihre Familie oder was auch immer Ihre Gruppe sein mag. Wir haben einen großen großen Raum mit einem Gaskamin, eine geräumige Küche und ein Esszimmer mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Loft-Schlafzimmer mit Bad und die untere Ebene verfügen über ein zusätzliches Familienzimmer sowie zwei private Schlafzimmer und ein komplettes Badezimmer. Dies ist eine frühere Ferienwohnung, die wir im Januar 2020 gekauft haben. Frische Farbe, neue Möbel, Bettwäsche und viel Spaß Dekor und Ausstattung.
Das Loft verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett mit zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten für eine Tasse Kaffee. Die unteren Schlafzimmer verfügen jeweils über ein Queensize-Bett. Das Familienzimmer verfügt auch über ein Schlafsofa und zusätzliche Betten, falls erforderlich. Whirlpool auf der Terrasse direkt vor der Tür vom Familienzimmer.

Enjoyed three nights at this beautiful oasis. We were here for the second time after an amazing stay the first. It did not disappoint. Many recent upgrades and thoughtful touches continue to make it my favorite VRBO or hotel anywhere.
The view cannot be beat, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is great for gathering and for prepping a good meal. The surrounding area from Prairie du Chien to DeSoto and over to Lansing and Marquette has many wineries, shops and cool places to eat.
So much fun, so much relaxing, so little time. If you are considering any other place to stay in the area, don’t. This is the place. They are the hosts. They are great on communication and the property exceeds expectations.

Despite the fact that we chose the snowiest weekend to travel, we made it! This place was perfect and did not disappoint. The view was incredible and the snow made it even more beautiful.
The owners were great and super friendly and caring.
We will definitely be back!

To start, we would give this place 6 stars if we could. As other reviews have said, the pictures do not do it justice. It's an amazing place, very well designed and decorated with a view that's hard to beat. They have stocked the house with everything you need and have thought of all the little details. Its very clean and wonderfully quiet.
We will be back regularly...we can't wait for the next trip!

Gorgeous house! Very clean! All the amenities you could think ok in a home! Our 3 and 7 year olds had a blast playing in the jacuzzi! We diffidently will stay again in the future!

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful time in this lovely cabin overlooking the Mississippi River. The sunsets were great. We had fun cooking meals together, playing card games and star gazing.

This is an excellent place to stay! The view of the river is spectacular! We loved the screened in porch with the hot tub as we sat outside at night and were bug free! This cabin is a must stay if you are in the Ferryville area.

This wonderful cabin is nestled on a bluff, with amazing views. It is very thoughtfully appointed, and is central to exploring many parts of the driftless area. A gem!

View looks great online but its nothing compared to being there! The screened in hottub is genius for bug protection, although with the bon fire there isnt many bugs anyways. We came from Madison and even the drive there was beautiful, while youre in town it doesnt "feel" like youre in WI (at least the part of Madison where Im from). 10/10 will be back here again.

Spacious yet cozy cabin with great amenities, especially the views of the Mississippi from the deck, relaxing hot tub. comfortable beds, cable / WiFi, gas fireplace, etc. Watched gorgeous sunsets, stargazed, hiked up in La Crosse, and greatly enjoyed the quiet escape from civilization for a bit!

This was our family’s second stay at this cozy cabin. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, outdoor hot tub, and incredible view of the Mississippi. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here and had a wonderful time. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. They look good, but it is so much better inside. The cabin is very open and has everything you could need, cookware, seasonings, towels, and most importantly, a hot tub! We really enjoyed our time in the cabin whether it was sitting by the fire or chilling in the hot tub. Sadly, it was cloudy a lot, but we did get a couple good sunsets as the cabin looks westward over the river. We also took a trip up to La Crosse one day, only about a 45 minute drive and also got breakfast in Lansing over the river on another day. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay along the Mississippi!

This property and location is a true gem. We enjoyed the view overlooking the bluff, especially during sunset while in the hot tub. The cabin was so comfy and had all the amenities you need. We cooked out a few nights, and enjoyed breakfast on the deck. So many places to see and we would love to come back in the fall. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with our family.

This cabin has absolutely everything you could ask for to get away for the weekend! We fit three adult couples very comfortably and the whole place is even bigger than we thought it would be. The hosts clearly know what they're doing - they truly do have everything there in terms of kitchen supplies and appliances (there's even a crockpot!), and there was a very thorough guide book for the surrounding area and lots of brochures for things to do. We LOVED the hot tub and we were glad that it was enclosed because we had a little bit of rain, but we had no problem continuing to enjoy the outdoors in the lower screened in porch! There were definitely other people staying at the hosts' other cabins the weekend we went but we could only barely hear them if we were outside, and we never saw anyone, so it is very private. We all agreed that the only thing we'd change next time is to stay longer so we could go do a river outing or go to a winery one day! Thanks so much again to the hosts, we had a great time and can't wait to come back!

The house has all the amenities you could need and the decor and layout are well thought-out and provide lots of great spaces to do different things as a group (playing games, talking, fires, hot tub) or alone (reading, taking in the view, just enjoying a cup of coffee while taking in nature).
The hosts were very responsive and got back to us about all of our questions very quickly. They also gave great tips about a community rummage sale (that included an art sale and a farmer’s market as well) and about the best way up to the cabin from town.
The folks in Ferryville were very friendly and we recommend also going right across the river to Lansing, IA to check out Skinny Dip for ice cream and Horsfalls variety store.
It was so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and really provided the reset we all needed. So grateful to our hosts for sharing this wonderful spot with the world and keeping it so nice.
