Freeway noise - breakfast

The cleaning staff was exceptional. The assistant manager was so cordial and he was training a new girl…both sweethearts. The overnight staff was excellent and everyone there was calm and helpful . I travel for a living, and this staff was better than a hotel I stay at in Paris. Thank you and have a great holiday season. I hope they get a bonus.

Breakfast was minimal. OK for me but lacking for my husband as he doesn't like eggs. Really liked the clean lines and newness of the facility. Loved not having carpet everywhere as you never know what is living in a carpet.

We checked in later in the evening - 10:30pm - and we had to wait for a while until someone actually showed up at the desk to assist us. Probably added 10 minutes to our check-in process. Yawn!

Customer service was good, hotel was very clean . Had a very nice feel to it and liked the mini shop in store for sweets /snacks .

Tiny room and expensive.

I like the concept- carpet-free, minimal furniture, shades instead of heavy curtains. Breakfast is excellent with delicious coffee, yogurt, fruit, breakfast sandwiches.

Maintenance was needed for bathroom door sticking, bathroom light was broken, and glass shower doors out of alignment that seemed unstable. I was planning to inform front desk this morning but nobody was manning the desk when we left.

I loved the bed and the bathroom was well stocked. And it was clean!! Very quiet although I could spend my money anywhere I chose Avid because I loved my first visit there, I was excited to go back!!

The entire parking lot was cleared of snow by a snow truck but the handicapped parking area where I had parked was left untouched and snow had cars trapped because of it.(due to a blizzard). I informed the desk clerk, that the area hadn't been cleared and that I had tried to get my car out, but it was just too much snow and he just looked at me and told me the shovel was in the lobby. I was in tears as I was trying to shovel the snow from around my car. Not only I'm I disabled but I'm also recovering from rotator cuff surgery!! Not one employee tried to assist me and there were several in the lobby!!
