Journeys End Chalet - Minutes to Jay Peak!
Willkommen im Journeys End Chalet! Wir sind nur eine kurze 10-minütige Fahrt von der Basis des Jay Peak Resort entfernt, wo sich einige der besten Ski- und Reitmöglichkeiten im Nordosten befinden. Das Chalet befindet sich auf einem schönen und privaten 11 Hektar großen Grundstück, nur einen Steinwurf von der kanadischen Grenze entfernt. Wir lieben alle Hunde und Ihr gut erzogener pelziger Freund ist in unserem Haus willkommen. Wir befinden uns direkt am VAST Trail System, bringen Sie also Ihr Schneemobil mit und genießen Sie!
Unser Chalet mit 2 Schlafzimmern verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss und ein geräumiges Loft mit 2 Doppelbetten. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett. Es gibt auch ein Queen-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Unten in der Männerhöhle befinden sich 2 Futons, die für die kalten Wintermonate im Nordosten des Königreichs eine strahlende Hitze haben. Es gibt auch einen Billardtisch im Erdgeschoss, der ein Gast Favorit ist. Es gibt 2 Flachbildfernseher sowie superschnelles WIFI, zu dem die Gäste Zugang haben. Bringen Sie Ihr Netflix-Login mit und verbringen Sie einen gemütlichen Filmabend! Das Haus verfügt über eine riesige erhöhte Terrasse, die das ganze Jahr über genossen werden kann und ideal für die Natur ist. Wir befinden uns direkt an einer von der Stadt gepflegten unbefestigten Straße. Unsere Gäste haben vollen Zugang zum Grundstück und können 11 private Waldflächen mit einer Feuerstelle im Freien genießen.

This place is amazing! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay to the last minute. The house is spacious, with a vary well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a huge deck where we ate all our meals. We also had a lot of fun playing pool in the basement. There is tons of activities around, so it's really hard to get bored. We recommend a visit to the Jay Peak Resort and a cab ride to the mountain top. The views from there are stunning. We would give this property 6 stars if possible.
We will gladly return next year.

We went as a group of 6 teenagers, 2 adults and 2 large dogs and had an amazing time! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean upon arrival. I would return and recommend without hesitation!

We had an awesome stay and Anthony and Haleigh were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with! Great location close to Jay Peak but it’s nice to escape the commotion of the resort at night and have your own comfortable retreat.

We had a wonderful time at Journey's End! The property, amenities, and home decor were lovely. There was not tons to do nearby in the summer, but we enjoyed some kayaking, lots of relaxing, hanging out by the fire pit, playing pool, and venturing into Newport VT and Magog QC.

This was a perfect setting - close to Jay Community Recreation Center (beautiful trails), our favorite hikes, and the property itself was beautiful! Very well maintained yard, outdoor shower, fire pits, hammock - all wonderful touches. Finished basement with pool table provided a cool and fun respite from the heat. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked, plenty of towels (thank you), and overall was exactly as owners described. It was a great place to spend 4 days soaking up VT NEK. Thanks so much!

The house was perfect for our weekend at Jay Peak. We have a couple of dogs so staying at Jay Peak wasn't an option. The place is very nicely updated and well maintained. It's a very easy 15 minutes to the mountain. Only downfall is we couldn't stay longer!

Property was exactly as described and about an easy 15 minutes from Jay Peak. The house was well kept, had great views, and I much appreciated the complimentary coffee. My kids loved the dart board and running around outside in the snow. Wifi worked well, and the house had everything we were looking for during our family ski vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Excellent ski house with great layout. Property was newer and very well maintained. Cleanest ski house we’ve ever stayed in including our own. Highly recommended. We had a very good trip and the hosts were terrific!

Great place near jay peak, well located. As described. An other bathroom would have been great considering the fact that there’s 8 sleeping spot. We were 7 so it was inconvenient to only have one bathroom. Would have been nice to be able to use the indoor electric fireplace but it was locked.

Everything went smoothly regarding check in, check out and communication. The house was great, just as pictured in photos. Clean house and a quick drive to Jay Peak!

The Journeys End Chalet sits about 20 minutes outside of Newport City center, about 20 minutes from Jay Peak ski resort, and 10 minutes from the Canadian border. The house is clean, safe, comfortable and quiet. The owners were attentive and responsive. We would book this property again in a heartbeat.

We came to get away from it all -- relax, recharge, hike a little and bike a little - this home was the perfect place for all of that. Nicely decorated, comfy furniture, super clean, well cared for and most of all quiet.
The wind was the loudest noise we heard aside from the pop-up t-storms in the afternoon and nearby fireworks display early on our second night. Only a handful of cars passed on the dirt road during the day. It really is a place of peace.
Kitchen is well stocked (even good prep knives!) and the flat-top grill is amazing. Excellent WiFi to reconnect and catch up on Netflix at night. Pool table and darts on the lowest level was a fun bonus! The 'utility' area of the lowest level was perfect for storing our bikes and bike rack when we were not using them.
Our normally play-active pups loved simply lounging on the deck which speaks to the calming nature of the home and this area of VT in general. The views from the deck are great during the day and stargazing heaven at night. The trails on the property were fun for quick jaunts with the dogs. It's easy to access the Jay Community Rec Center trails, the Long trail, and just a short drive from the cute town of Newport. We biked Memphremagog as well as the Craftsbury Outdoor Center - both a little further away but entirely worth it.

Great weekend getaway
Great property and location! Hosts were very attentive and easy to communicate with. Our only disappointment was that the grill was not there, despite it being listed as one of the amenities. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for a Vermont getaway
Beautiful property with all the necessary amenities. Enough space for six adults, with room to spare. Only a short drive to Jay Peak. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in close proximity to a great mountain.

Nice but not my style
A very nice place. Smaller but laid out well. Kitchen well stocked with check in treats that were appreciated. Owners were great. The “security cameras in use” emphasis reduced my enthusiasm along with the “smile you’re on camera” signs in the woods next to the house. I wanted a secluded, private experience and this wasn’t it.

We've traveled extensively around the world and the owners of this property have clearly put a ton of effort into making sure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Very well maintained. If you are looking for a mountain getaway, definitely consider this place.

Great house, great location, great value!
This was a very enjoyable experience to have stayed at this property located in a quiet and mostly secluded location. The house was very clean and well-equipped to accomodate our entire group of 8. Being only about 15 minutes away from Jay Peak, this property was a fantastic "bang-for-the-buck" and a great place to relax after a long day of skiing/snowboarding. Will be recommending this property to others and hope to return soon!

We had a perfect stay. It’s a great, safe location to bring dogs with a nice hiking trail right up the road. The home is spotless and very well appointed and equipped. The hosts are fantastic. I only wish it was bigger so I could bring more friends and family next time we come! :)

Love, love, love this place!!
We rented the Journeys End Chalet for a Thanksgiving getaway with our boys and dogs. Very clean, beautiful decor, and dog friendly! They even had dogs bowls and a dog bed for our doggies! We liked it so much, we asked to stay another night and luckily, it was available. The owners were very helpful and communicated well. Can't wait to rent it again!

Work retreat
We needed a get away from home work weekend with our dogs and this beautiful place checked all of the boxes for us. The decor was updated, Wi-Fi was supercharged except for in the master and the views gorgeous!
