The bathroom was not clean and it had an unpleasant smell. There were broken cupboard doors. The staff was not available for providing service, they were not professional. The AC was not working. There were mosquitos. Breakfast was terrible

The Worst iv ever been to. Had to beg to be assisted. The pool looked like a swamp …very dirty after we asked if it was clean. Very disappointed!!

The staff was very friendly,especially sis Thembi she's was such a sweetheart, provided us with everything that we asked for. The room was well put together and clean

The only disappointing thing is that the room did not have a shower gel/bath soap as we expected, otherwise everything else was great

The room did not have cups nor glasses. The mirror was in an odd place in the bathroom and difficult to use for make-up. The mirrors position wasnt very great and there isnt rally a plug to use for hair drying. The shower had no place to put toiletries and the basin tap's water-flow was very faint and the tap was too short. Difficult to was hands and brush teeth. One bedlamp had no bulb in and the staff were ok, however weren't present when we left. Breakfast was OK...not great.

The staff was so friendly,they go all out to make you feel at home away from our home. They borrowed us the main kitchen to cook our food. We forgot to buy charcoal and they went to buy it for us. They allow us to even play our own music. We really enjoyed our stay at Mixo. Massage was more than excellent I even fell asleep.

We couldn't use the pool because it was not clean. The bath In the bathroom couldn't hold water because it has holes.

The staff were very accommodative and super friendly. Also, very quick to assist whenever needed. The breakfast was nothing fancy but I liked the variety of drinks (tea, coffee or juice - all 3 were served at our table)

The location was misleading - not accurate at all (as per Google Maps). Also I was given a room that I did not prefer but it was spacious and the view was great. I still would've preferred a room suitable for couples and not the big family room. The bathtub couldn't hold water (somehow the water kept draining on its own) and the water from the shower did not come out at all. The staff however provided an alternative room so we could shower and for that reason the staff were lienent with the check out time.

Everything about the facilities, the staff is excellent the have that courtesy that makes one to feel at home. Thank you very to Calvin who fetched us when we where lost🙏l really applaud the Mixo sunrise staff. .

The rats really spoiled my evening,s am scared of them.I expected the jacuzzi to be in good condition cause it's winter and the pool is not ideal during this time of the year. Please update the GPS.

The location is a bit far but was close to the event we attended. And for breakfast you could add different cereal because we were not served nor offered it. Either than that everything else was good

Despite traveling for less than an hour from the Pretoria city center, you would swear this gem of a place is located in the bundus somewhere far away from civilization. Tranquility is what they promised, and tranquility is what we got. For me, visiting MixoSunrise Guesthouse & Spa was a culmination of all my favorite childhood memories of visiting my grandparents’ farm during the school holidays. There is an enjoyable stillness in the air that cannot be matched by any establishment that is in a busy city area. I booked the guesthouse as a surprise for my husband to celebrate his 41st birthday. I called ahead to ensure that the room was presented in a special way for him, at this point I had no clue what I wanted. Neo, the establishment manager, assured me that all will be taken care of, and my husband loved the surprise. The room was decorated in heart-shaped rose petals that also spelled out happy birthday! I have already won this year’s best wife award, all thanks to Neo. Neo the manager/chef/driver/concierge and everything in between is the best son a mother can ask for; this is coming from a mother of three boys. At some point during our stay, I remember asking him if we could bring our sons for a lesson or two on how to cook and run an establishment. It is worth mentioning that all the staff members at MixoSunrise Guesthouse & Spa are a dream and all our needs were well taken care of. We loved our stay, from the hotel room, swimming pool, food to the spa treatments we received. MixoSunrise Guesthouse & Spa is definitely value for money. We loved everything about our visit there. When we got home and showed our boys pictures from our stay, they were very disappointed that we didn’t take them with, they have no clue that’s not what this trip was about, haha. Next time, yes there will definitely be a next time, we will take our boys with!

there was no milk in the room the air freshener was finished there were spider web every where no plugs to connect head lights the jacuzzi was no where to be found as advertised on the lodge facilities

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was working air-conditioning, the bathroom were clean, the linen were clean - nothing wrong with the rooms.

It stated that breakfast were included. The staff asked at what time would we like to have breakfast and we asked for 8am. Breakfast was not ready. We received our "English breakfast" at 08:45 which consist of two eggs the tiniest piece of bacon and two slices of bread not toasted. We asked for butter - sorry no butter we have to go buy it. We asked for ice no ice. We received left over tomato and onion sauce. The staff tried their best but its clear that management does not exist. We made the reservations a month ahead enough time for planning. We left for a wedding just before 14:00 enough time to prepare for breakfast.
