The house is large enough to accommodate two to three families and is close to scenic beaches and outdoor adventures. Quiet area, neighbors were nice. Could do without the spiders in the house (needs some quality control from the management side) and bears broke into our vehicle the night my son left it unlocked. Otherwise, amazing place to stay.

We had 8 people stay at this property and we had more than enough room, could’ve have another 2-3 folks join us if we wanted.. and we’d still have plenty of space! I loved that we could park in the garage so it made heading out to the slopes in the morning super easy. Hot tub was great, kitchen was large and stocked, living room area was huge with tall ceilings. Would highly recommend this property for large groups.

We rung in the new year at this great home. Perfect location - beautiful walks out the front door, easy drive to beach and town. And a short drive to several ski resorts. Would stay again!

This large home nicely accommodated our immediate family while we were in Kings Beach for a large family reunion The living and dining area, and the kitchen were well furnished with all we needed. We did have to request more towels and we requested someone to come in repair the hot tub. The garage door opener was non-functioning, and we were unable to get someone to come and fix it while we were there.

We had a pretty good fam vaca. Loved that we were a 5 min drive from the beach. Kitchen was def fully stocked:). We ran out of toilet paper mid week, however we brought our own, just in case, so that was fine. The trash bin was full apon arrival (don’t know what happened there). We called and it was taken care of within hours:). The house was clean, However, the decks were all full of pollen, even the furniture. We were unable to sit on the deck the whole week. We tried to dust the furniture but it was too much. It was everywhere. We did use the bbq, but When we took off the cover, it was also covered with pollen…lol. That’s how we knew it wasn’t cleaned at all. One more thing…no screen on the sliding door to the main level deck. That to me is super necessary!! Since most houses in Tahoe do not have AC, It gets hot and we would have like the extra breeze in the evening without the bugs flying in.
Anyhow, we made it work, and over all had a good trip!! Oh…the hot tub…Worked well and we enjoyed it:).

Overall, this house met all our space needs for our daughter’s wedding weekend, and would recommend it to others with some advice. In a prior review, we knew to bring some supplies like ziplock bags and tin foil. All supplies ran low and we restocked TP, paper towel, laundry soap) Other supplies were also running very low esp. Soap dispensers in the bathrooms. Make sure ahead of time if the hot tub is ready for use. For us it wasn’t, and wasn’t prepped and usable until the day before our departure. 6 parking spots we’re advertised but due to so much snow and ice uncleared from the driveway/ we barely had 4. It’s a great location and close to lake but the only walking route is on the hwy. I would give this house another chance but know what to expect ahead of time.

Everything was perfect! I would definitely come back during the summer. Only thing the garbage was full so left it in the garage. Other than that everything was perfect.

The house was clean and big enough for us all. We couldn't use the bbq due to the about 3 feet of snow blocking it. Driveway was iced over and dangerous, my father fell and hurt himself pretty bad. No internet the whole time and kept getting told they were working on it and there was a power page and it would be an hour, we were told that for two days. Not enough towels for half of us. Could not find anywhere to put the trash so we left the full bags in the garage. There was no dishwasher detergent to run the dishwasher. No foil, plastic wrap, ziploc bags, etc. One bracket holding up the TV satellite box is falling off. Overall it was a good stay and clean. Just wish the basic things you would expect from a vacation house were available.

The house was huge. The hot tub was perfect. It was extremely clean when we arrived. The deep driveway easily allowed for 6 cars. Super close to the grocery store, lake and restaurants. Ideal location to go to northstar and palisades (in that order). Would absolutely stay here again.

The house is huge enough for a couple of family 10 to 15 person. All accommodation,towels, pillows, blankets etc...The house is beautiful bright, and cleans are expected what a vacation needs.The kitchen plenty of all chefs cook needs and serves👩🍳 Teen seat luxury dining table with multi color table cover for every evenings family dinners, it it shows up warm and romantic 😉 close to King beach and others easy to access. Thank you for your all set.

The home was perfect for our extended family of 9, including adult children. Easy access to all Tahoe has to offer. Very well stocked kitchen. Any issues with the home were promptly addressed by the management company. I would stay here again.

Location is Awesome
While the location is AWESOME and we enjoyed our stay we were a bit disappointed by the hospitality. If a house sleeps 13 and has three bathrooms there should be AMPLE towels. If your house sleeps 13 and you have pull outs...They should be made or there should at least be linens readily available. If you have a drawer labled dish towels and a Beautiful Kitchen with Great Service pieces and lots of pots and pans...There should actually be dish towels. If there are containers on the wall that say shampoo and conditioner they should be full. And If you ask me to run the dishwasher...there should be diswasher soap. (the lack of dishwasher soap is one of the reasons we down graded cleanliness I am a little concerned that there were uncleaned dishes. Also some of the pillows were pretty nasty (which we noticed when we stripped our linens at the end of the stay) I would stay at the home again (and pack accordingly). But if I owned the property I would not be pleased with VACASA.

Spacious and comfy
This home offered a comfortable and cozy feel. It was spacious and allowed for plenty of room for each person to have their own space. The generational family photos made the house feel more like a home. Super clean. Kitchen utensils and bar area had all the necessities. The hot tub was hot and clean. The neighbors were pleasant as well. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful home for a family vacation. Very spacious and clean except that there were spider webs on the ceiling and lamps and the carpet was dirty. Kitchen had everything we needed, lots of pans, and essentials. Lovely hot tub. Kids enjoyed it. Close to shopping and Great location for us. Highly recommend.

A beautiful home nestled in a quiet North King’s Beach neighborhood. Just minutes from everything you need and want to see. Owners and company were very accommodating! Will definitely rent again :)

Perfect for large families.
Really enjoyed the long table so the extended family can eat together. Afterwards there’s a lot of room for use to relax in front of the fire place, the teenagers play games on the large screen TVs with the baby and toddler play on the carpet. The grandparents had a room on the same level as the family and kitchen area so they didn’t have to go up and down too many stairs. The bedrooms are large in the down stairs. Fun Decor in the rooms. Toddler loves taking baths. Plenty of parking space on the drive way for minivan and SUV.

The home was great and well kept. It was larger then expected through the description and conveniently located just a mile from the water. Sopping snd food is near by.
The communication was great with vacasa and they even stopped by to ensure the hot tub was working and everything was at our satisfaction.

When we get there at 4 o’clock it wasn’t ready The cleaning people were still working so we have to wait for 15-20 minutes that was wasn’t a good sign we were very tired , but it was Ivery nice place for family on the first Night I was going to make a barbecue the grill doesn’t have any gas so I contact to the people in charge they were very nice to take care of it the place is over all nice and clean . There was some issue with toilet paper and garbage bags shortage I was a little bit disappointed but you can deal with it , But again I will give him five star because it was very nice place and the vacasa people were very nice the way they take care of the problem .

Lovely home. Tastefully decorated. The moose decor in the living room was impressive. "Gotta go!" bear art in the bathroom made me laugh. Loved the hot tub with privacy screen. Kids had a great time in the loft and put the saucers to good use at a sledding hill nearby. The kitchen was lovely and was stocked with extra cookware and essentials. Great location, very close to Kings beach and North Star. Highly recommended.

4 days stay before new 2020 year
Location is great , Taho lake 3-4 min away, house is wonderful with great architecture, enough light at the kitchen and over kitchen dining table, not slippery driest and it is not steep, kitchen is fully equipped. We loved kitchen. Plenty of space for everyone but not enough linens. My kids wanted to stay at the loft and there was no linens for sofa. One garbage bin at the loaf was full, probably they forgot to clean. Host does not answer phone b/w 12 am and 7:59 am. We arrived to the house late and half of the house did not have a light. We called twice , no one answered till after 8 am when we were leaving to Northstar and we were guided how to fix it. Neither Alexandara nor VRBO taken responsibility for that even though upon booking with VRBO it says 24/7 service.

Loved this house, no monster staircases to navigate
As you know when you go skiing, where you stay often has major steep staircases since you're traveling among mountains/slopes. For our trip, which requires lugging four large suitcases and groceries for days, a LACK of steep inclines is a huge benefit. This place you can park and get to the bedroom or kitchen taking just a half-staircase in either case, soooo accessible. I can focus on this minor perk because this place totally covers the basics of any awesome VRBO. It has a great layout for three families (12 total) and comfortable clean accommodation, and it's no more than 35 minutes drive to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, or Mt. Rose (our favorite - higher elevation/better snow). Two of the 4 bedrooms has their own bathroom with the other two sharing a bathroom. There's also a top level loft with even more sleeping space.

What's more I would automatically give this place 5 stars because of Alexandra's super-responsiveness. When the code she gave us to enter home didn't work, she picked up after a few rings on our first call. She was just as timely responding to our other inquiries. I would also give this place 5 stars because of the heat and power of the enormous jacuzzi, so lovely on sore bones from a day snowboarding. The kitchen was well equipped and this is one of the few places I've seen in Tahoe (under four digits a night) that has a dining table that seats 10. I do want to note, being as frank as possible, that the reviews on the WiFi issues are valid (easily resolved) as well as the heat not being as strong on the bottom floor (plenty of blankets to make up for it). We are hoping we can return to this great space in the future.

Fantastic stay!
We enjoyed our holidays at the Canterbury House!! It is in the perfect location, has the friendliest of neighbors and it snowed. The house fit our family’s needs and we were not left wanting for more. This house was fantastic and Alex, the owner, was great! Very helpful and punctual with replies. Would love to stay here again!!
