Just a stunning house with beautiful views of the mountains, forest and lake, huge terrace, new renovation. The owners were very nice. Unfortunately we didn't even see each other, but they handed us the keys and were in touch the whole time. The house is cosy, completely ready to live in. If it wasn't for the lovely Tara, we would have happily spent the whole weekend in this house. The way to the house is via serpentine, but you have to be prepared for that when driving to Tara.

The house is next to the lake with almost no people around, it was so peaceful ⛰️ You have everything you need for comfort - wi-fi, air conditioning, water and electricity, even dishwasher. We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time, will definitely come again 😌 Thank you!

The location is very scenic and quite. It was nice to stay in the woods and near the lake. The house is very nicely done especially the deck and living space. There is nothing nearby so if you are looking for a quick access to everyting, this is not the place in Tara National Park. We wanted to the disconnect and pause and this house was perfect.

There is only one full bathroom. The other one upstairs is just a toilet. With a family of 6 that part got difficult. Also, the owner did not tell us in advance to put the pellets in the heater beforehand. So we had to stay one night in late winter without heater. That bit was uncomfortable. There are no condiments in the apartment so bring your own.

The house is absolutely beautiful surrounded by greenery and lake. It has all the facilities one can imagine with a family with kids. Owner is very helpful. The bedrooms facing the lake are stunning. Recommended for a family with kids

Incredible view of wild mountains through large ceiling-to-floor windows; well-equipped kitchen; spacious couch in living room facing mountain views; great views from all bedroom windows; comfy beds; good shower water pressure & steady heat with nice large rainfall shower head; spacious outdoor upper & lower deck areas with dining sets; just in general a very cozy place to stay set in amazing natural beauty. Surrounding land is also a forager’s paradise! Tip: there is wild mint, Queen Anne’s Lace, sage, thistle, apples, plums, various berries, rose hips, artichokes, and more growing all around this area. Book in the summertime if you love to be surrounded by butterflies and other pollinators!

There were very large, bulky black ants (approx. 1.5cm long!) all over the kitchen - primarily around the fridge and on the floor nearby it. We were afraid for our kids to walk barefoot for fear of ants biting so we paid special attention to the area at all times and killed the ones we could, but they just kept coming. I understand the location is in the wilderness so there are just some things that can’t be prevented, so I would still recommend this property regardless.

There is no sound insulation between the main floor and the bedroom floor so you can hear everything between the floors. This is a problem for light sleepers
