Beach Side Cottage..One Minute Walk to the Beach
Dieses charmante Strandhaus befindet sich auf einem großen Grundstück, nur einen halben Block vom Strand entfernt. Unsere Straße endet tatsächlich am Strand. Es fühlt sich sehr privat und großartig für Kinder an, da es keinen Verkehr und keine Straßen gibt, die man überqueren muss, um ans Wasser zu gelangen. Das Haus verfügt über große Balkone auf zwei Seiten, die viel Platz im Freien zum Sonnenbaden, zum Blick auf die Sterne und zum Meer bieten. Es gibt immer viel Schatten und eine kühle Brise auf der ersten Ebene, perfekt zum Grillen im Freien, für Partys oder einfach zum Entspannen. Es gibt auch eine Dusche im Erdgeschoss mit heißem und kaltem Wasser. Das angrenzende Grundstück ist perfekt für Spiele und Spaß in der Sonne. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie eine geräumige Landhausküche mit viel Platz, vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und Blick auf das Wasser. Durch die hohen Decken wirken die Räume noch größer. Natürlich ist die Küche voll möbliert mit allem, was Sie für Ihren Familienurlaub brauchen. Die beiden Schlafzimmer haben ein Queensize-Bett und das große Wohnzimmer verfügt über 3 Tagesbetten für zusätzliche Aufgaben. Dieses Haus bietet Platz für 2 Paare und 4 Kinder.

Elaine is very sweet and communication was excellent with her. The house is so cute with easy access to the beach. A few minor leaks when it rained but it was tolerable.

Lovely property. Lots of space, beds, seating and kitchen supplies. Very close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. We ate at convenient restaurants. Seven Seas grocery store was nearby. Wonderful weekend getaway. Responsive owner. We will be spending more weekends here. Highly recommend.

Our trip went off without any issues. We all had a wonderful time and the sad part was simply having to leave.
The beach was right there! It was clean and well kept.

Enjoyed the location to the beach, very easy access. Property manager was very accommodating on check-in and checkout. Took a few hours for the place to cool down, but once it cooled down the temperature remained very comfortable.

If you remember Galveston beach houses from your childhood then this one fits the bill. Plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. It’s charming, comfortable and close to the beach. The microwave didn’t work but that was our only complaint.

Great location by the beach within walking distance. The place was clean and tidy. A great place for a couple and 2 small dogs. Only thing would say is the A.C. could not keep up during the day, so it was little warm. Had to have fans and standing fans going. Overall it was a wonderful stay. We would atay again.

Palm Beach reminds me of a quaint B&B in England. It's a darling cabin with fantastic character. I loved that there was so much to look at in the house and it was well stocked. I love antiques so it was a wonderful surprise to see all the fun collectables on display. The lot next door offered several games of croquet and frisby. There was a nice view of the beach from the deck which was only steps away. The owner is super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

We had such a wonderful time staying here! It was so cozy and charming. Everything was comfortable and tidy. The home has everything you need. Elaine was so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, a quick walk down a quiet dead end street to a clean, beautiful beach. The neighborhood was so quiet, perfect for a family. We have three young kids and it was easy to walk back and forth from the beach with them. We felt right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

It was very close to the beach. The problems were you don't find out until you book it that there are no bed sheets or towels of any kind. The WiFi didn't work the whole time. I sent a text to the host on the first day, no response. Texted again on the second day. She finally responded on the third that morning. There is hardly any cell service (AT&T) in the house. Wifi would have been great. The biggest problem was that we found black mold all over the window shades and window sills. We discovered this on the final day as we were packing up to leave and my nephew slept on the twin bed next to it the last night.

Enjoyable stay on the beach.
It was lovely to be so close to the beach. We came and went all throughout the day. There was so much ocean life to be able to see. The house was easy to get to. It was nice to be able to shower off outside and not track sand into the house from the beach. It was also nice to have a few things to take to the beach. It would have been nice to have sheets and towels at the house. We had 6 people in one vehicle, so having bedding for 5 beds and towels took up a lot of extra room. There were plenty of blankets, but I’m unsure if they get washed each time. I understand that we will see bugs every now and then, but we did see a big roach the first day we came in. We kept our clothes off the floor. Overall, we were happy with our stay and when we had questions for the owner, they answered.

Awesome Beach Getaway
This house was great for our family of eight. We had plenty of room in the house and we loved the *very short* walk to the beach. There were not many people on that area of the beach so we found awesome shells and ocean life. I would definitely stay here again.

Great family getaway
Rustic, cabin feel. Close to the water and necessities. The beds could be better but the couch was great. The kitchen was well stocked. The house and neighborhood is so peaceful. I am looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect for our short weekend beach getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay at this beach house. We only had a couple of minor complaints which were that there was no dishwasher and the shower was really small, although we were not terribly bothered by either. The kitchen is big and great for a large group. The location is only a couple minute walk to the beach, and the day beds were perfect for a fairly large group. We would definitely stay here again!

Unfulfilled Potential
This property has great potential. The layout and location are wonderful. The beds are okay. The kitchen has a good supply of dishes and utensils. The problem with this rental is lack of cleanliness. The smell of urine from the bathroom was overwhelming and permeated the master bedroom and living room until I picked up rugs and mopped an d tried to disinfect. The dust and animal hair under furniture and in corners was a bad trigger for my allergies. I vacuumed some but did not feel it was my responsibility. I was charged a cleaning fee and did not get clean. I can do campy the roofing nails visible on every ceiling, the rough deck you can’t walk in without shoes but unclean is a disgrace. We left the house better than we found it.

Lovely place on the gulf
Love the views of the gulf and the quick walk to the sand!!! Fully equipped kitchen. The views and the kitchen were important since we spent a lot of time inside due to a slow moving tropical storm during our stay. Elaine was easy to communicate with and was very helpful when we asked to extend our stay due to flooding in Houston. This will be the first place I look for next trip!!

Good location just down from the beach. Older house with one bathroom. Outdoor enclosed shower has hot and cold water so we used it to keep the bathroom available.

We had a great time at this house. It’s very close to the beach, and we loved spending time on the porch enjoying the view.

Stay at 4204 Vista
The place was a lovely location and close to beach. Shower ridiculously small. Place needed a good deep cleaning. A/C woefully inadequate. House unlivable due to heat during the day. Apparently poorly insulated. Deck needed maintenance. A lot of house needs maintenance. Internet and TV worked great. NIce views from deck.
Heat in house during day was not acceptable and negated everything else.

This was a great get away. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and the location was nice. The house was nice and very cozy. I would definitely visit again.

Great cottage by the sea!
We had an amazing time at this beautiful home in Galveston. The pictures do not do it justice! There was plenty of room and it was a cozy place to retreat after a day on the beach. We highly recommended this place and would love to stay again sometime soon.

We had the best time at this cute beach house! The owner was so friendly and communicated very well with us! We were very close to the beach and It was very nice on this side of the island. My kids loved this house and didn’t want to leave! We can’t wait to return!
