Beautiful cabin! Very nicely done and clean. Hosts were super responsive, it’s a bit on the smaller side for a family but perfect for a couple. We saw a black bear from the back porch! We loved it :)

Great house well kept. Did not like roads and distance from entrance

The cabin was ok. Were I to go back, I'd book a cabin right on the lake, but not from the same owner. I booked the cabin for 6 nights in April. Soon after booking, I messaged the owner asking if I could book an additional night on the front end. The night was open when I looked online. She said I could and sent me the link to pay for it, which I did. Two days before our trip, I got confirmation showing only the 6 nights. When I messaged the owner, she apologized and said that night had already been booked and she would refund me for the night. There was no offer of anything else even though I had to scramble to find another place for one night while having a dog and kids. When I pushed back, she offered me a free night at the end of my trip (which was interesting because when I looked online, that night was already booked). We could not stay the extra night because of work obligations. I found a place near Chimney Rock (the "Sunflower Cottage") for one night. When I asked the cabin owner if she'd be willing to refund me back the $125 difference in price for the night or discount my stay for my inconvenience, she told me no. If I were an owner, I would not have hesitated to do that. It was an inconvenience to have to stay in one spot, leave at 10, and then have to wait until 4 (when I asked for an early check-in, she again said no). She could not have cared less about her mistake and her guests. I will not be staying at any of her cabins again in the future.

My new bride and I stayed here for a few days right after getting married. Very pleased with the amenities and privacy of this neighborhood.
The cabin space and yard was perfect for our needs. We did not get to meet the owners, but it is obvious that they take pride in the upkeep of their vacation rental.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends! :)

We really enjoyed our stay and the accomendations. It was perfect for our family.

Great location inside a private neighborhood, residents are so nice - always waving to each other when on the roads and on the trails.
Host communicated great and the trip was made better because we were able to bring our dog with us - loved everything about the location!

Need to go down a gravel road up the mountain to get around. I wouldn’t try to take a camper up there. Make sure you bring plenty of food, not hardly any restaurants and the ones there are spendy. But if you like that kind of thing and love the woods it’s for you. Was also raining like crazy so we left a day early Chimney Rock only a few miles.

Can’t say enough about this cabin. It’s beautiful, has everything you could possibly need and more! Close to all the fun stuff in Lake Lure and the owners are very nice! Can’t wait to book it again

Breathtaking view and refreshing atmosphere. The cabin is warm and comfortable. The energy of family love is present. A most enjoyable 3 nights. A memory to last a lifetime. I am grateful to have experienced this moment with my daughter and my best friend whom I consider a sister.

We came to the area for a little weekend getaway. The cabin was absolutely perfect. We loved the location. It is in a gated community that has several lakes and a beautiful walking trail with a waterfall. The cabin was very clean and well kept. The owners are amazing! Very attentive to any needs. We loved being able to bring our poodle and have a fenced in yard. All of our children loved the property. Highly recommended!!

My best friend and I brought our dogs here for a week stay. The dogs had a great time at the cabin and especially walking the community and playing in the water and rocks near the waterfall. We had beautiful morning views, and the cabin was the most well stocked cabin we’ve ever been in! We were a little scared of the giant spiders on the deck, but after assurance from the property manager that they were not harmed um (and offering to get rid of them) we got used to them as added decor :) I can’t say enough positive things about the responsiveness of the property manager… especially when our car wouldn’t start the day we were leaving… the property manager sent his father over in 10 minutes to jump start our car! Would def recommend!

We absolutely love this place and everything about it. Great location and perfect accommodations for our family and small dog. When we have had very minor issues, we got immediate response and help from Aaron. My parents just fell in love with the place last year, as did we, so we'll definitely be back!

I booked this cabin that allowed dogs. I called manger to ask about having another dog who’s 5lb and doesn’t shed he said that was completely fine. So I booked 4 days super excited. We checked in around 4:30/5 we had a 5.5 hour drive to come to a dirty house left from others who had stayed there prior to us. (All the bed sheets were in the dirty clothes bin, used towels & face clothes thrown on the floor, dirty dishes in the sink, old food left in fridge. which is definitely disappointing after spending 1100 on a cabin it should be spotless with EVERYTHING you need. I called the manager Arron who said he would call me back only to get a phone call from his mother Linda to tell me how she doesn’t know how it got missed and that she was sorry and that she would like to pay for us for dinner and that cleaners would come and fix it within the hour.I was reluctant to since we just had got out the car from driving but I understand mistakes get made and I wanted to have a good trip. So we went to dinner (4 adults.) I sent her the recipe and that’s when it went down hill. After not hearing from her I reached out again. She refused to pay for the meal she stated “we took advantage of her” the bill was 169 in total for 4 adults out to dinner that’s a normal price. Now all of a sudden there’s a “pet fee” after me leaving. There was no pet fee mention/listed anywhere in ad. All was said is she would refund 60 for cleaning. Crappy to lie to guests. Can’t wait to read her augment comment.

Spent a relaxing week at the cabin with our family including the dog. Enjoyed hiking Chimney Rock, some kayaking on lake lure, and swimming at the old swimming hole. Cabin was well equipped and very comfortable. Loved the wrap-around porch. Fenced-in yard was also great for the dog.

What a great cabin and community. The house was great with fenced in yard, wraparound porch, and plenty of space. The neighborhood with the lake and swimming hole were great for beating the summer heat and for activity close to the cabin. Hiked right out the door along the gravel road for quite a workout. Definitely recommend!

This beautiful cabin is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway! The photos can not capture the calm and quiet we enjoyed. Our host was very responsive and helped make our experience worry free. We definitely plan to visit again.

Very nice place and really enjoyed the rocking chairs. Did have pet hair which I didn't like and bugs in windows. Still loved this place and would go back again.

We loved it! We hope to be back soon!

My husband and I invited a couple from our church to join us for a 5 day stay at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for what we needed, a few days of a little fun, peace and quiet. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock and the fact that it's located inside the private gated community of Riverbend was also a plus.
The only improvements I would recommend would be trimming a few trees for a better view of the mountain vistas and the lake below. Future tenants should know it's a bit of a drive from the cabin to the small beach area. The roads in the community are gravel only, but are in good condition.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin, it was super clean, very comfortable for us and the dogs. The fenced in yard was great! Plenty of room for the dogs to run around while we around the firepit and enjoyed the view and the beautiful weather! Very cozy cabin, easy to find. Had a nice deck and friendly interior. Very clean, easy to use directions on items. Had everything we needed and felt right at home. Loved walking around the community. Pretty waterfall 8 min walk from home.

I’ve rented a bunch of cabins over the years, but this one was THE best-organized and best-stocked. It had everything you could need! Wi-Fi was spotty, but with that view who needs to be on the laptop all the time. Loved all the decorating touches!

We absolutely loved everything about renting this house! It was beautiful and cozy. We had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond when we called. Super friendly. We would definitely rent this house again!

Aaron was a great host! The cabin was awesome for our family. Easy to get to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Fenced yard was great and the fire pit outside. Great stay would highly recommend

We needed to escape for a weekend so we packed our dogs up and booked a last minute stay here. We cooked our meals in every night and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. The dogs loved or be able to play outside in the fenced in yard. At night we would retire to the loft and watch movies, the owner even provided some classics on vhs so that was fun to watch. Highly recommend the house. Only concern for some may be the neighborhood has unpaved roads that aren’t in the greatest condition so choose your vehicle wisely, we had an suv and no issues.
