Wonderful breakfast and convenient location just outside of Yungaburra

Great cosy surrounds nestled in nature. Beautiful walk to the township. Australian room was great for a couple of Aussies

Chocolates and port were a lovely unexpected touch. Nice to walk through property and walk along Barron river into town and back. Breakfast was huge and really nice. The host, Penny, was very friendly and accomodating.

The room

Breakfast was included and we had the pancakes. Delicious and so filling.

A wonderful retreat in a peaceful rural setting that is only a short stroll to Yungaburra township. The walk takes you across a suspension bridge or along a creek where platypus can be seen.

This was nothing we didn’t like about this property! Our African themed room was delightful and we had sweet dreams on the very comfortable bed. Our hostess, Penny, was absolutely delightful. She gave us a wonderful choice, each morning, of an amazing home cooked breakfast with fresh fruit and juice grown on the property and delivered when requested. The property is so beautiful and is only a 10 minute walk to the village, a highlight being a suspended bridge across the river. We have been coming to Yungaburra for years snd never knew this bridge existed. Oh ~ and there was a great pool at the property as well who could ask for more? We will definitely back.

This was the first time we stayed in a BnB and it did mot disappoint at all. From the time we arrived Penny the owner was there to greet us. The rooms are very spacious with a spa bath fireplace and king bed. The breakfast was so good i would highly recommend this place as a must place to stay loved everything about this place thankyou Penny for the great stay

Good old fashioned service and lovely accommodation. Super comfortable bed and the hosts were so lovely. Yungaburra was one of our favourite places on our trip to Cairns & the Tablelands. We were so happy to see a platypus in the river also.

Very peaceful loved waking up to the sound of birds not traffic. Loved the Moroccan themed room very comfortable bed and double spa was luscious, topped off with fire place. Definitely going back again and again.

That we didn't stay longer

Absolutely amazing little hidden gem! Couldn’t believe how nice this place was. So beautiful, each room with a unique personality. Fire set up for us when we arrived, breakfast was great. Can’t think of anything bad to say about the stay. Extremely romantic rooms, with a huge spar bath. Just amazing.

We loved everything about our stay and have already re-booked for another weekend away. We loved the spaciousness of the room, the big bath, the complimentary port and chocolates, the fabulous breakfast, the wood fire, which made it all very cozy, the private terrace. The wallaby that hopped past in the morning put a smile on our faces. The property is a short stroll outside of town and there is a lovely path through the property and across a nature trail into town.

Liked the fact it is close to town, yet nice and quiet with plenty of open space. The rooms were clean and loved each of the themes awesome. Breakfast was very enjoyable nice change from other breaky menus.

Penny is a wonderful host and the breakfasts are excellent the freshly squeezed juice is great and the bed was very comfortable also love a open fire place

The water leaks on the spa/shower which got kinda messy
