We enjoyed our long weekend very much. The property was just as advertised, clean and easy. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this great location to celebrate a birthday. It is shoulder season in mid March, which was great for us as the OBX was not crowded at all. The condo is steps from the beautiful beach, a great location. The property was clean, updated, and comfortable. It is a block from a Publix grocery store and easy access to many good restaurants. It also gave us easy access to the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse. We also took an afternoon to drive an hour down the Cape Hatteras National Seashore (NC Highway 12) and see the Hatteras Lighthouse along with the beautiful undeveloped beaches in the national park property. We would definitely return to this property again.

This is a well appointed condo, with all the supplies you would need for a long or short stay. The condo is in close proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. Most importantly it is directly on the beach, with awesome ocean views. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful place.

This was a beautiful condo for us to enjoy a brief 3 night honeymoon trip! The ocean view is spectacular off the deck, right on the beach! We enjoying seeing the islands as we drove to Hatteras one day, and had a wonderful dinner at the Kill Devil Grille. Jocely was a wonderful and caring owner, meeting all our all needs beyond expectation! We hope to return again sometime! Tom & Ellen

Great property and property manager with a beautiful view!

We enjoyed the location; however, the unit was dirty (the top of the fridge had a 1/4” of dust on it and we saw multiple cockroaches). Furthermore, making our own beds after a long day of travel was a little off-putting as well as cheap toilet paper. The whole complex as a whole (compared to the surrounding structures) was far inferior. Recommend a little more attention to detail.

We had a great time and the condo was well stocked with everything needed. The property was clean and as described. It does appear a bit run down when pulling into the development, but honestly it was very updated and beautiful once inside. Owner was very responsive and great! Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing time at outer banks and Sweet Carolina! The unit was clean and fully stocked with everything we could’ve possibly needed and more. The balcony, view and beachfront access made our vacation. We would definitely consider staying at the Sweet Carolina again!

My husband and I brought our Danish nephew for a week at the beach. It was a great visit and I loved sharing some of my home state of NC with him.

Great view from the deck! Close to everything you need. Pool is awesome for a dip at the end of your day. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!

This condo is just like it is advertised. Perfectly appointed. Very clean. Communication with Jocely was incredibly timely. We were short one pillow cases to make a bed and she had it fixed within 30 minutes. We spent many long afternoons on the porch reading. It’s so close that you can be at the beach without being on the beach. A view from every window makes the space extra airy and bright. Loved this place and cannot wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The ocean is so close you can hear it with the windows closed. The condo is lovely and fully stocked with everything you need. The location is quiet and convenient . The ocean access is quick and easy.We appreciated the beach chairs and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony watching the surfers nearby. It is definitely a little piece of paradise.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Carolina! The condo was clean and adorable! The access to the beach was very convenient with great views of the ocean from the balcony! We really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the huge selection of DVDs and games during our stay because the weather was not the best! Thanks again for everything!

Sisters weekend at the beach and we called this condo a bucket list location! Literally right on the beach. Had chairs, umbrella, anything you could wish for.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! It was exactly as described but even more beautiful somehow. The host was wonderful and helpful and we loved falling asleep to the ocean each night. Quiet, clean, and so convenient! I can’t wait to come back.

We had an issue with the front door lock. Owners came right away and had the lock replaced. We had a great time.

My family and I spent Spring Break week in this amazing condo. Every thing was just as described. The views from the living room, the bedroom and the porch we absolutely amazing. Getting to hear the waves crashing at night as you fell asleep was awesome. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend. Good food close by and all the shops and stores you could want or need. We would definitely stay here again.

This ocean view condo was perfect for our Outer Banks getaway! It was beautifully decorated and clean. It had everything you could possibly need. We definitely plan to visit again!

This is truly a unique find. The balcony looks directly out on to the water. It was magical falling asleep to the sound of waves. The condo itself is excellent with every possible kitchen accessory there. My husband loves oysters and there was even an oyster shucking knife in the drawer. The photos really don’t do justice to how lovely this place is. We will definitely book again.

This VRBO was perfect for our needs. We looked at and heard the ocean waves from our bed and the living room. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything we needed. All TVs worked with access to many choices. I was thrilled with 2 GREAT grocery stores minutes away. Also Duck donuts. Also a Tesla super charger. Off season but there was one very good restaurant in Duck, 15. minutes away. The beautiful, wide beach was steps from the building. The 2 bedroom apartment was not overly decorated, one of my big issues with these rentals, and all of the furniture was comfortable. The place also had nice light and cross ventilation as it was on the corner. Being that it was on the second floor there was a perfect view of the beach over the dunes and we only had to lug our luggage up one easy flight of stairs. A consideration when staying for 10 nights. I would recommend this property without reservation. Also easy parking and a gracious front desk manager.

Our stay was just what we needed. Quiet and relaxing. The beach view is beautiful and so are the accommodations. Hope to return soon.

My friend and I went for a girls getaway, and this condo was such a great find. Being in OBX in the winter is the way to go. We loved sitting on the porch and drinking coffee in the morning as we watched the ocean. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. They provide clean, individually wrapped sheets and plenty of towels. The keyless entry lock on the door was a touch finicky, but we were able to get the hang of it. We hope to stay again one day!

Sweet Carolina is exactly where you want to stay for a beachfront vacation. Perfect communication. Gorgeous sunrise right from the deck. The beds were so comfortable and you could easily hear the ocean in the master. Delicious restaurants within walking distance. This place has everything, even community condiments in the fridge. It was a huge convenience that you didn't need to bring anything extra. All you need to bring is a beach towel to relax.

This place was absolutely amazing! The host communicated everything very well. Beautifully decorated and it has everything you and your family could possibly need. The oceanfront balcony is so close to the ocean. Our short, weekend trip was to help our daughter celebrate her birthday and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to be! We look forward to staying again soon!!

The condo was lovely. Very nicely decorated and clean. Owners were very nice and took care of a couple small things immediately. The weather was terrible but was great for us to just spend some time relaxing. Only thing was the stay was too short. We will definitely come back for a longer stay next year.

First, this condo is truly beach-front. It's hard to tell by the photos--this unit is on the second floor and sits about the height of a protected sand-dune right in front of it, then the beach. You go down one flight of stairs, over a few units, and onto a passageway that takes you to stairs (up, then down) to the beach. Second, this unit is truly well and nicely equipped. When you arrive, you will find your sheets, pillow cases and towels plastic-wrapped from the cleaners on your bed. Other than your own personal toiletries, most everything else is there in the unit. If you normally use a second full-size towel to dry your hair, etc., you will need to bring your own (if a hand towel will not do). You will find many extras including: blow dryer, huge box of board games, televisions in every room, extra pillows, a box fan, 4 beach chairs, a boogie board, floating noodle, fly swatter, as well as 3 beach buckets and shovels. My husband and I found the king size bed very comfortable. When one of us turned over, the other couldn't feel it. Nice! If you want to cook your own meals, everything you need is there. There is a huge Publix grocery store so close to the unit that you could walk there. If you want to go out to eat, you will find nice places to eat nearby. Our favorite was Kill Devil Grill; it was so good that we ate there twice. The entry door to the unit is a little tricky to use, but it has a key code, so you don't need to worry about having/losing a physical key. The parking lot is convenient and private for residents only. We had no issue at all finding a parking space, though we were traveling off-season (end of Sept). There is an office on the first floor should you need anything (where you get the parking pass). And, the life guard tower is located right next to the Golden Sands building and the deck outside. The owner, Jocely, was very responsive and nice whenever we reached out to her (to let her know we got there and when we were leaving). We were able to check-in a little bit early because the previous tenants notified her of their departure and the unit was cleaned. The ocean was still warm at the end of Sept when we visited and we lucked out with the weather, getting temps in the upper 70's and low 80's, leaving just before the effects of a hurricane nearby were felt (it was extremely windy and the sand was blowing hard). To sum it up, we'd come again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful rental. amazing ocean views. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the family. beach is great. Grounds and pool are very nice and well kept. Perfect spot in the outter banks. Nothing but good things to say. Will be going back.

We loved our stay here! It was a perfect spot to go with our toddlers. The beach and the pool are steps away. We loved the kiddie pool and playground! It was a nice surprise to find beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and sand toys for us to use. We cooked almost all of our meals and found the kitchen to be well stocked. It even had plastic kid plates, bowls, and forks/spoons. We hope to stay here again someday!
