Staff was very nice and the room was spotless. The breakfast was simple but very fresh and tasty.

There's a restaurant in the same building which means a lot of people in the evening.

The person hosting could not have made a better impression. The place is super well renovated. The superior room I stayed in (with the bathtub and balcony ) is beautiful sunny, comfortable snd spacious. Felt great to come back to the room after a day of exploring Spreewald. Breakfast is fine. They could do with a better coffee situation. The location is probably the thing that I found a little odd given the prices. The room, BNB and service are great which unfortunately is demoted because of the location. It’s located on a street called „Bahnhofstrasse“ which, as the name suggests, leads to the train station. That means zooming cars in the day, trains all day and night. I travel with earplugs so that made sleeping just fine. Also the location is not so romantic as in the pictures, it’s just at the cusp of town and not the romantic or folky part of the Spreewald. All in all it is expensive well refurbished room given the location. Still I slept well due to earplugs. I recommend it for those who are not sensitive to street sound and those who are looking for a quick getaway.
