Very good experience and great access to downtown

We really enjoyed this house. It was clean. It had super fast internet which was excellent and appreciated. The only problem was an invasion of tiny gnats. They were all over Ouray, so not unique to the house. It certainly was annoying to wake up to gnats swarming all over the kitchen, bathrooms etc. we were there during a heatwave, so having the one window air conditioner saved us! It would have been unbearably hot without it. You couldn’t open the windows as the gnats just came through the screens. We were so thankful for that AC! Overall a great little house.

Very convenient to town, by foot. Excellent scenery from the porch and a nice backyard with a picnic table. Kitchen was full of utensils and an outside grill made it easy to stay in and dine.

The photos do not do this place justice. It is beautiful and a block away from the Main Street. Loved this place. Would stay again.

Charming cottage! Had everything you could need to stay and cook meals. Gas grill a great bonus. Decorated very cute. Comfortable sofas and beds. Really appreciated the ac unit in one of the bedrooms. The location in town was great for being able to walk everywhere but the downside to that was how loud it was at night trying to sleep. Vehicles and ppl all hours. Being hot summer would like to open the window to sleep but was hard enough to sleep through the noise with it closed. It would be awesome to have ac unit in both bedrooms, for sound as well as cooling. Otherwise excellent stay!!

The house was perfect! Had everything we needed. Couches and bed were super comfy and extremely clean. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Great place

My buddy and I stayed here during the 2022 Ouray Ice Fest and it was perfect. Super close, exactly what we needed and nothing else. Shuttle stop was steps away as was Main Street for food at night. Definitely would recommend, especially for a couple guys hanging out at the Fest. Great time.

My wife & I spent nearly 2 weeks in this house for an ice climbing trip. It was super convenient to the ice park. We could just walk from the house to the park. It was also convenient for walking to restaurants in the evening. We especially liked that the bedrooms & main rooms had separate thermostats controlling baseboard heating. Overall very pleased with our stay and will for sure stay here on our next trip to Ouray!

Location, amenities, and the logistics were just what we needed for three days in the mountains.

The house was as advertised. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the couches and the dining table chairs need to be attended to. The couches need to be replaced. The sofa was way to soft and you sank into it making it hard to get out of. The loveseat was so soft that you could feel the wood frame when you sat down. There are a couple of the chairs that need to have the legs tightened as they are very unstable when you sit on them.

Staying several days in one place, it was nice having the amenities of home. We got several compliments on "our" yard and beautiful flowers.

The house was surprisingly spacious and it a wonderful part of town. We couldn’t have asked for more....it was perfect for our needs. A wonderful place to spend with our grandson on his first trip to Colorado. Only one issue was not getting much on TV but who wants to watch TV when you are here anyway!!!

The location is perfect, the size is perfect and the amenities are perfect. Loved everything about our stay. THANK YOU!

Pictures don't do it justice! Cabin very sweet, clean, and perfect location! Easy, walkable access to downtown and great trail heads. Perfect "head quarters" for a week in Ouray!

Walking distance to shopping and restaurants (one right across the street) but being just off the "main drag" meant less traffic and felt much less hectic. House was super comfortable, property manager was super responsive (we didn't have issues but did stay in touch). Great neighborhood feel when relaxing on either the front or back porch. A real "home away from home". Would definitely stay again.

Perfect basecamp for a week of hiking and exploring. The place was clean and spacious. It's convenient to access the town, but at the very South end, so not as busy.

This property is located right on the edge of town so it is an easy walk to local shops and stores. The house was the perfect size for our little family. Would highly recommend!

Easy check in, clean house, great location!

Very cute house within walking distance of box canyon, main street, perimeter trail, etc. Ouray is a very small town, most of which has dirt roads that are lightly traveled. This home was located on one of the two paved roads and was close to the RV park that was full of dirt bikes, motorcycles, and ATV's. Our only complaint at all would be related to the noise from the dirt bikes and ATV's up and down 3rd street, some of which started early in the mornings. Outside of the noise issue, the home was great and as advertised.

This home is a great little bungalow that is bigger than it looks on the outside. The interior was nicely updated and had all the basics we needed, including a washing machine and dryer...bonus! There was plenty of room to cook using the kitchenware provided. WIFI was awesome and the guys even had a movie channel to watch in the late evening. We loved eating our breakfast sitting on the back stoop watching the sun come up. Our street was quiet and we had plenty of room to park our 41-feet of truck and trailer. The owner was great and prompt with communication. We will definitely look this place up again when we come through Ouray in the future. :)

This property has mountain views from every direction. Walking distance to the main strip and all of the shops. The property was very spacious, very clean, and had everything a vacationer would need. Wildlife such as deer came and hung out in the yard. I will definitely come back to this rental next year. It was perfect!!

Cute little Victorian miner's cottage. Pics and descriptions are accurate. Everything worked fine. On the edge of town but town ain't that big! So easy walk to anything & everything. Sleeps 4 w/ 2 queen beds so perhaps a better option for 2 couples than a family with kids that don't pair well in the same bed. Nothing fancy, although most everything other than a plethora of cabinets were recently renovated and updgraded, Due to COVID, we cooked in 2 nights and take-out for the 3rd night. (Thumbs up for Brickhouse 737) Not a lot of mask wearing in town, so unfortunately not able to support the local businesses as much as we would under different conditions. Hiked a small part of Perimeter Trail one day, took a day trip to Telluride one day (1+ hr drive) and stopped at Orvis Hot Springs on the way out of town back to Denver after getting closed out of in-town hot springs the first day. Orvis was lovely and definitely more our style, but never really had a "bad" hot springs experience in Colorado! Good trip w/ comfortable, functional accommodations that didn't break the budget!
