We were so happily thrilled with this home and it's location. There was plenty of space (more than we needed). The host thought of everything and had everything we could have thought of. We felt as if we were home. Very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The host answered us immediately and was very kind and helpful (we couldn't find the house because we forgot the original instructions) haha Can't wait to visit again!

We have stayed at this cabin five times in July and plan to come again as it is such a peaceful place where we were often the only ones swimming or paddling the canoe on the lake. The owners are so thoughtful and responsive and the Lake Lure area is unusually beautiful with so many things to do from hiking to gem mining to water skiing. The house is well equipped with all you need for cooking, paddling both a canoe and kayak and games like pool, football and table tennis. We live staying at this cabin, as does our family!

We loved this property. Loved being right on a small lake with a dock and water toys. We took advantage of the awesome covered decks and game room as we had lots of rain. Very well equipped kitchen and super comfortable beds. Nice relaxing vacation. We will definately be back.

Absolutely loved the house and the community that it was in. The house had everything that we could possibly think of to have on vacation. The house had plenty of space for everyone to relax either together or separate. Loved the huge decks and the quietness. The owners were absolutely wonderful!! Just the sweetest! Will definitely be staying here again!

This cabin is great for a family trip to the lake! So wonderful to have the lake, kayaks and canoe right there. And game room was fun. Beds were comfy and having 3 full bathrooms plus a half bath in loft was a real bonus. Had an amazing time there simply enjoying the views of the lake, wildlife and peace!

The owners were very kind and accommodating. We stayed for Christmas and they had the whole cabin decorated inside and out, with a Christmas tree. The house was also well stocked with anything we might’ve needed. We would love to stay there again!

In a gated community. Right on a small lake. Canoe and kayak to use. Close to restaurants and lake lure.

My wife, myself and one of our granddaughters celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful, very home-like and in a great natural location. We were very impressed how well stock the house was that including everything we needed and more. My wife commented how she had purchased many of the same vases for our home. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. The check in/out process went very smoothly.

Everything you could want! ALL the activities, plenty of room and a well stocked and clean place for your mountain get a way. We will be back next year!

The house and area was perfect for my husband and I getaway. Will definitely stay here again if in the area! Hosts are great and very easy to communicate with.

The only negative part of our visit was finding a few dirty utensils and cups. The refrigerator notes mentioned trash goes in the dumpster, but it's location wasn't stated. It is adjacent to the security gate where we enter/leave the premises. The property manager is easy to get in touch with and to talk with. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and would recommend others to stay at your property.

This cabin was a great place to stay while we were in town for a family reunion. The upper back deck was my favorite spot, so comfy & cozy with an amazing breeze. We did have a few hiccups with electrical issues, AC issues, & gate entry but the owners were very friendly & helpful.

We stay at Lake Lure a few times a year and have tried several cabins, but this one was by far the best we have visited. So much space, so much to do. The views were second to none, the dock was amazing, our family was never once cramped together. The kids had a great time in the basement playing games, and the whole family had a great time sitting on the porch and on the dock, boating and swimming in the lake. Ingles is the only grocery store around and its about 10-15 minutes away. Chimney Rock Village is also a short drive away. We plan to stay here repeatedly for as long as its available. We didn't have any reason to contact the hosts other than an issue with the lock at check in, which was fixed within minutes.

This cabin on Little Mirror Lake is our family’s favorite vacation spot to relax and renew as we paddle and swim from the dock and enjoy morning coffee and evening barbecues on the deck overlooking the lake. The cabin is so well stocked with all the essentials plus a great game room/media room downstairs, all the water floats you could ever use and a red canoe & green kayak! The owners are the kindest people and are always willing to help. Turtle Cove cabin is a truly special place to vacation!

We absolutely loved this cabin! We’ve been renting through VRBO for years, and this rental by far was our favorite! The pictures do not do it justice. We will definitely be back!

My wife found the cabin online, and we thought “this looks great”! As is often said, the pictures didn’t do justice. The location is amazing, with access to the private dock and kayaks/canoes, life jackets, etc. provided. Though there are neighboring cabins, they are separated by a forest of mature trees, providing privacy and seclusion. A loft with entertainment system and a game room downstairs kept our Grandchildren entertained indoors. Swimming and boating kept them entertained outdoors. Everything inside and outside was immaculate. Anything anyone could hope to need was provided. We were very happy we chose this cabin and hope to come back often!

We usually vacation in the summer in Lake Lure but we decided to head up a little sooner. We loved the neighborhood and how quiet it is. Staying on Little Mirror Lake was perfect for my son and husband who love to fish at night. The house had everything we needed to stay in and cook or spend the day exploring the lake and its views. We went to the Old Swimming Hole and Big Mirror Lake Beach located in the neighborhood and it was wonderful. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

This is the third summer we have stayed at Turtle Cove cabin. We love the calm setting overlooking the lake and the opportunity to swim and paddle the cabin’s canoe and kayak. The cabin is outfitted so thoughtfully with ample kitchen equipment, comfy beds, and everything you need to create a great vacation experience. In addition, the owners are responsive and helpful and thoroughly kind people.

The house was great! Very clean and plenty of places to spread out and enjoy our vacation. Our boys especially enjoyed the beach and swimming in the river. We also enjoyed the game room. A beautiful spot!

Great property!!! House has everything you need for having fun or just relaxing. Check in and check out were as easy as could be. My wife and I loved having it all to ourselves but it would be perfect for a family with kids or two couples.

The cabin was delightful and having it already decorated for Christmas was an extra treat. I was worried about cooking as many rental home kitchens are not well equipped but this kitchen had everything we needed.

We loved staying at this cabin so much during the summer that we returned for a taste of fall. The views from the front porch and the opportunities to paddle and hike were just what we hoped to experience. We even took a short drive to “Apple Valley” near Hendersonville for delicious apples. The owners are very responsive and extremely thoughtful people.

We treasured out stay at Turtle Cove cabin from daily swims in the peaceful lake to paddling in the canoe or kayak. Not only was the log cabin well equipped and and inviting, but the upper deck was the perfect spot for barbecues and reading where the shaded roof and curtain of trees brought welcome cooling and a peaceful view of the lake below. The owners went out of their way to help make our stay enjoyable.
