The staff approved the room purchase even though my wallet was "lost" on one of the Carowinds rides on the day of check-in. The room was clean and had plenty of space. There is an indoor pool and gym. Five minute ride to Carowinds. There is a nearby plaza that is very modern and has great eats. It is very trendy and a nice place to shop even. It is on the other side of the highway, I forget the name.

The staff were not very welcoming, only engaging with customers when necessary. For instance, the staff offered zero suggestions about local attractions or good places to eat or shop during check-in. No bath fan and a sliding door for the bathroom. The free wifi required unnecessary information to function.

Door knob handle came off when opening the door to the room, and shade to window would go up, just further down past the window but not up all the way to pull up from over the window.

Since we were traveling with our grandchildren We were counting on the indoor pool for activities and was extremely disappointed to find it was closed for the evening. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and well stocked room , and the friendliness of staff.
