Me encantó el edificio ,un caserón antiguo muy bien restaurado. La habitación ideal para mis dos hijas y nosotros muy bonita con vigas a la vista. Buen aislamiento ,sin ruidos, lo único hay que tener cuidado de no darse con una de las vigas ,un poco baja , pero una vez te acostumbras no hay problema. Las camas suficientemente grandes y las almohadas pues según gustos..yo no uso. La habitación tiene una cafetera tipo nesspreso y un hervidor de agua que vienen genial para tomarse algo después de dar un paseo por el encantador pueblecito. El cuarto de baño tiene secador,espejo de aumento, pañuelos desechables y hasta bastoncillo y algodones además de una alfombra de ducha...muy útil e indispensable, por lo menos para mi . Nuestra habitación estaba en el tercer piso ,por supuesto no hay ascensor ,es un edificio de 1600, para mi esto no es ningún problema pero mejor llevar varias maletas pequeñitas que una enorme. Sacha es un caballero encantador muy servicial y que te proporciona toda la información que necesites, y además se ofrece a ayudarte a subir las maletas. Por cierto, teníamos unos chocolates y unas bebidas como detalle preparados en la habitación al llegar. Nosotros no cogimos el desayuno porque desayunamos más bien poco ,y no nos merecía la pena. A corta distancia hay una panadería que abre a las siete, allí compramos café y algo para comer. El edificio dispone de una sala comedor común, con una nevera con bebidas y un cuarto con tentempiés ambos de pago ,con un concepto cómodo, y de confianza en el huésped. Si consumes algo simplemente depositas el dinero en una cajita de madera que hay en tu habitación. En cuanto al aparcamiento, aparcamos en el Seidenfabrik parking que queda muy cerca ,puedes pagar con tarjeta. El pueblo es precioso es la tercera vez que vamos en los últimos 11 años...

Lage des Hauses im Stadtzentrum für die Besichtigung zu Fuß ist ideal. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einer super Aussicht über die Dächer von Alt-Monschau. Vielen herzlichen Dank an den Gastgeber für seinen netten persönlichen Empfang! Wir wünschen Euch alles Gute für die Zukunft!

Frühstück wurde bestellt, aber "vergessen". Somit standen wir am ersten Morgen ohne Frühstück da.

Mieses WLAN, schlechte Leistung und kein VPN möglich, da alle Ports gesperrt sind. Angesichts des unterirdisch schlechten Mobilfunkempfangs in ganz Monschau war das sehr nervig - wenn man, wie ich, zwischendurch arbeiten muss. In Zimmer 2.01 gab es keine Stühle und keinen Tisch, keinen Kühlschrank und die Betten waren doch sehr durch/weich.

A stunning property right in the beautiful centre of the village. Everything was perfect and the hosts are lovely. I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay in Monschau.

Historical building with modern interior, homely atmosphere, excellent breakfast, all very reasonably priced.

We were not aware of deadline for check-in at 19.00 hours and almost missed it. But this probably only applies to off-season. Extras are paid in cash.

This loft was outstanding. We enjoyed it even more, considering it was a stormy weekend, and we often stayed inside. The breakfast was excellent, with everything you could ask for and plenty to choose from. The shower was terrific too. The hosts were amiable and professional. The place is in the heart of Monschau, so there is no chance that you will miss anything. I would love to be back in this place! Highly recommended!

We liked everything, so it is difficult to say. Maybe the mattress could have been better, but mainly because we like a firm mattress, so take it as a very personal opinion.

The location was outstanding. It was in a very quiet area, right in the center of the small city. The facilities were extremely comfortable. They kitchen area and salon were very nice. It was great to have reasonably priced snacks and drinks readily available in the kitchen and the salon was great to just sit and relax while enjoying a nice glass of wine or a beer. The breakfast was well priced and included more than enough food. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
